< Luke 10 >
1 Masuole chu, Pumapa'n, midang sômsarileinik a thanga, abop abopin an sena rang khopuitina le muntina, ama motona a tîra.
Now after these things the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself was about to come.
2 An kôma, “Bu ât rang atama, ania a mintûp ranga sin rang mi an tôm, Masikin, a bu mintûp ranga sintho rang mi tîr rangin bu pumapa kôm ngên roi.”
And he said unto them, The harvest is plenteous, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into his harvest.
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves.
4 Sumkok mo, cholite mo, kekok mo, chôi no roi; lampuia khom tute chibai no roi.
Carry no purse, no wallet, no shoes: and salute no man on the way.
5 In nin lûtna kipa, ‘Hi ina hin rathanngamna om rese’ ti bak roi.
And into whatsoever house ye shall enter, first say, Peace [be] to this house.
6 Rathanngamna midit mi an oma anîn chu nin rathanngamna chibai hah an chunga om a tih; an om nôn chu nin chibai hah lâk kîr nôk roi.
And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him: but if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 Nin tungna ina han omtit ungla, nangni an pêk murdi sâk ungla, nêk roi, sinthopu chu lo pêk rang ani sikin. In tin lôrdul no roi.
And in that same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 Khopui nin lûta nangni an modôma anîn chu, nangni an pêk kai chu sâk roi.
And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 Ma khuoa damloi ngei mindam ungla, an kôma, ‘Pathien Rêngram nin kôma ajuong nâi zoi’ tipe ngei roi.
and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 Khopui nin lûtna nâm nangni an modôm nôn chu, lampuia jôkpai ungla,
But into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they receive you not, go out into the streets thereof and say,
11 nin khopuia pildi, kin kea kop tena khom nin chunga kin khôngthâk nôk vang ania, ‘Pathien Rêngram chu nin kôm ajuong nâi zoi!’ tipe ngei roi, a tia.
Even the dust from your city, that cleaveth to our feet, we do wipe off against you: howbeit know this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh.
12 Nangni ki ril, Pathien Roijêk Nikhuo tika chu, ma khopuingei tuong rang nêkin chu, Sodom chu ajâi om uol atih!”
I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
13 “Korazin, na chungroi arik bah na! Bethsaida, khom na chung roi arik bah na! Nangnia sininkhêl itho ngei hah Tyre le Sydon khuoa tho nisenla chu, thoila puon insilin, pildi inpolin an sietnangei insîr an tih.
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 Roijêk Nîn chu nin tuong rang nêkin Tyre le Sydon chu ajâi om uol an tih.
Howbeit it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment, than for you.
15 Nangma Capernaum khom, nethenin invân idênin nên pâk rang mini? Dûkmuna kêng vôrpai na ni rang.” (Hadēs )
And thou, Capernaum, shalt thou be exalted unto heaven? thou shalt be brought down unto Hades. (Hadēs )
16 Jisua'n a ruoisingei kôma, “Tutu nin chong rangâi chu ko chong rangâi ani, tutu nangni heng chu ni heng ani, tutu ni heng chu ni tîrpu heng ani,” a tia.
He that heareth you heareth me; and he that rejecteth you rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me rejecteth him that sent me.
17 Hanchu, sômsarileinik ngei hah râisân takin an hong kîra, “Pumapa, ni rimingin ramkhoringei tena kin chong an jôm” an tia.
And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us in thy name.
18 Jisua'n a thuon ngeia, “Soitan, invân renga kôlinlek anga juong tâk ku mu,” a tia.
And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven.
19 An kôma, “Rangâi roi, murûlngei le âinuvet chunga lôn theina le râlngei roineina chunga rachamneina nangni ke pêk, itên nangni minna thei noni ngei,” a tia.
Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.
20 “Ania ramkhoringeiin nin chong an jôm sikin nan râiminsân no roia, Invâna nin riming mizieka a om sikin nan râiminsân roi” a tipe ngeia.
Howbeit in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes: yea, Father; for so it was well-pleasing in thy sight.
All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, save the Father; and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal [him].
23 Hanchu, Jisua ruoisingei tieng ân heia, inrûkten, “Hi ngei nin mu hih idôra mi satvur mo nin ni!
And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see:
24 Dêipungei, rêngngei tamtakin nin mu ngei hih mu rang an nuoma chuh mu mak ngei, nin iriet ngei a riet an nuoma chuh riet mak ngei,” a tipe ngeia.
for I say unto you, that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.
25 Balam minchupu inkhat Jisua minvak rangin a honga, a kôma, “Minchupu, Kumtuong ringna ka manna rangin imo ki sin rang?” a tia. (aiōnios )
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios )
26 Jisua'n a thuona, “Lekhabu'n imo ati? Imo no pore ngâi?” a tia.
And he said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
Nangma lung nên kham anghan nu bungmingei lungkham roh ati,” tiin a thuona.
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29 Hannisenla, Balam minchupu hah theiintum nuomin, Jisua kôma, “Tumo ku bungngei?” a tia.
But he, desiring to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30 Hanchu, Jisua'n a thuona, “Hanchu voikhat, mi inkhat Jerusalem renga Jericho'a a sea, inru ngei a tonga, an jêmpola, an tôk bita, a thi vângin an mâk raka.
Jesus made answer and said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho; and he fell among robbers, which both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
And by chance a certain priest was going down that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 Ma ang nanâk han, Levi mi a juonga, a ena, hanchu lamsîr tieng a piela.
And in like manner a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.
33 Hanchu, Samari mi inkhat han ha lampuia lônin a honga, a mûn chu lungkham a mua.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion,
34 A kôm ava pana, a sâbengei sariek le uain a buoka, a thom pea, a sakuording chunga a minchuonga, khuol tung ina a tuonga, a donsûi zoia.
and came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on [them] oil and wine; and he set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 A nangtûka chu, sum dârnik a kelsuoa, khuol tung in enkolpu a pêka, ‘Lei donsûi inla,’ a chunga na thâm kai chu ko hong kîr nôk tika nang thuon ki tih” a tia.
And on the morrow he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, I, when I come back again, will repay thee.
36 Jisua'n, a kôma, “Inthum ngei lâia han atu tak ha mo inru ngei tongpu bungmi ani ranga ni iem?” a tia.
Which of these three, thinkest thou, proved neighbour unto him that fell among the robbers?
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. And Jesus said unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
38 Hanchu, Jisua le a ruoisingei an khuol se nân, khuo inkhata an lûta, nupang a riming Martha a ina a modôm ngeia.
Now as they went on their way, he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
39 A juorpuinu riming chu Mary ani, ama han Pumapa ke bula insungin, a chongril a rangâia.
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at the Lord’s feet, and heard his word.
40 Ania, Martha chu sinthôn ânpol oka, a honga, “Pumapa, kênzirpui nûn ke theivaia sintho ranga ni mâkrak hih ni mindon pe mak che mo hi?” ni hong san rangin tipe roh! a tia.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving; and she came up to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister did leave me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 Pumapa'n amanu kôma, “Martha, Martha, neinun tamtak ni mindon sika nênjêl kêng.
But the Lord answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and troubled about many things:
42 Inkhat vai kêng ai nâng, Mary hin neinun dik a thanga, a kôm renga isut nôk rang ni khâi mak,” a tipea.
but one thing is needful: for Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
