Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.

2 Khrista'n mi lungkhama, eini rangin a ringna a pêka, inbôlna neinunpêk anga mirimhoi Pathien'n a râisân anghan, nin ringna hah lungkhamnân jêk ngêt rese.

And walk in love, even as Meshikha also loved us, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

3 Pathien mingei nin ni zoi sikin, nin lâia inditnasaloi ngei, inthiengloina ngei aninônchu inruôkna ngei, nin bâia nin ril luo hih adikloi ani.

But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;

4 Bâingal ngei, chongkâmboi ngei, tusiem porinche ngei khom nin mang rangin inhoi mak; ha ngei ril nêkin Pathien kôm râisânchongril roi.

nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks.

5 Tutên hurindit song le inthiengloi le inruôkngei (inruôk hih mirmil biek ani) murdi'n, Khrista le Pathien Rêngrama rangtum man noni ngei ti nin riet minthâr sikin.

Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, that is, an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Meshikha and God.

6 Tutên chongkâmboi leh nangni huong no rese ngei; ma neinunngei sikin kêng Pathien taksina hah ama chongdonloipungei chunga ajuongtung rang ani.

Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

7 Masikin ma anga mingei lehan ite inzomkhômna dôn rangin tho no roi.

Therefore do not be partakers with them.

8 Nangni nanâkin ijînga lei inmangin nin om ngâia, hannirese Pumapa mingei nin hongni zoia, masikin avâra om ngâi mingei anghan nin om ngêt rang,

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

9 satnangei, diknangei le chongtak jâttin mara tamtak musuok hih avâr chu ani.

for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

10 Pumapa râisânna ngâi hah imo ani riet rangin pût roi.

proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.

11 Mingei an sin ngâi kâmnângloi neinunngei hah ite tho no roi, ijîng ta neinunngei hah. Manêkin avârna hongtuong pai ngei roi.

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

12 (Inrûka an tho ngâi neinunngei chungroi hih chu amisîr khom inzakpui aom sabak tatak ani.)

For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of.

13 Male neinunngei murdi hi avâra hong tuongin aomin chu, an nina diktak hah ânthârin ânlang ngâia;

But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.

14 i-ih neinun khom ânthârlaka inlanga omngei ngân chu avâr ani sikin. Ma sika han kêng, “Nangma a in meng inla, thina renga inthoi roh, hanchu, Khrista'n nu chunga juong êlminvâr atih,” a ti hah.

Therefore he says, "Awake, you who sleep, and rise from the dead, and Meshikha will shine on you."

15 Masikin mi inmôlngei angin om loiin, mivârngei anga omin, nin om lama singthei roi.

Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise;

16 Nikhuongei hih asa khâi loi sikin, zorânchum nin dôn ngei hah mang mindik ta roi.

redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17 Masikin moh no ungla, Pumapa'n nin sin ranga a nuomngei hah riet rangin pût ta roi.

Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

18 Ju inrûiin om no roi, nangni vai kêng nangni asiet rang; manêkin Ratha'n sip roi.

Do not get drunk with wine, which is debauchery, but be filled with the Rukha,

19 Lapuingei chongbâingei, minpâkna lângei, male la inthiengngei leh inrokôk ungla; minpâkna lângei lapuingei lehan nin mulungrîlngeia Pumapa kôm minpâkna lâtho roi.

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music in your heart to the Lord;

20 Neinunnâm chunga ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista rimingin, zoratin Pa Pathien kôm ngêt han râisânchongril roi.

giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Yeshua Meshikha to God the Father;

21 Khrista taka nin inthieng sikin inkhat le inkhat inpêklût inlôm roi.

subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Meshikha.

22 Lômnungei, Pumapa kôm nin inpêklût anghan nin lômpangei kôm inpêklût roi.

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.

23 Khrista chu ama takpum, koiindang sanminringpu ania, koiindang chunga racham a nei anghan pasal khomin a lômnu chunga racham a nei ani.

For the husband is the head of the wife, and Meshikha also is the head of the church, being himself the savior of the body.

24 Koiindangin Khrista chunga ânpêklût anghan lômnungei khomin an lômpangei chunga an inpêkrip rang ani.

But as the church is subject to Meshikha, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything.

25 Lômpangei, nin lômnungei lungkham roi. Khrista'n koiindang a lungkham sikin a ringna a pêk anghan.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Meshikha also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;

26 Koiindang hah tuia rusûk minsâia, ama chong sika han Pathien kôm a pêk theina ranga maha a tho ani.

that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,

27 Innimna koploi, demnaboi, minchâinaboi, kôknaboi le jûrnaboi le chukloina reng omloia, ama kôm nanâka koiindang hah a pêk theina rangin.

that he might present the church to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 Ma anghan, pasalngei khomin an takpum angtakin an lômnungei an lungkham ngêt rang ani. A lômnu lungkham kai chu ama ânlungkham ani.

Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

29 (Tutên ama takpum heng ngâi mak, a vâiin a donsûi ngâi; Khrista'n koiindang a donsûia a vâi ngâi anghan,

For no one ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Meshikha also does the church;

30 a takpum abâkngei eini sikin)

because we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones.

31 Pathien lekhabu'n, “Masikin pasalin a nû le a pa mâk a ta, a lômnu leh inpumkhat an ta, inik hah inkhat chang an tih,” ati anghan.

"For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."

32 Ma Pathien Lekhabua han chongtak inthup inthûk minlanga om aom, maha keiman chu Khrista leh a koiindang a misîrnân ki rietthei.

This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Meshikha and of the church.

33 Aniatachu nangni tieng khom mang thei ania; pasal nâmin anni angin, an lômnungei an lungkham rang ani, lômnungei nâm khomin an pasalngei mirit an tho rang ani.

Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
