< 2 Timothy 2 >
1 Ka nâipasal, nang chu Khrista Jisua leh inzoma moroina eita han rât takin om roh.
You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 Rietpuipungei tamtak makunga ku phuong, minchunangei ni riet hah mi taksônom, midangngei khom minchu thei nôk rang ngei kôm minkol roh.
The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful people, who will be able to teach others also.
3 Khrista Jisua râlmi iemomtak anghan intak nu tuong rangtum hah tuong roh.
You therefore must share in hardship, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
4 Râlmi chang ranga thanga ompu hah an ulienpu a râiminsân theina rangin, râlmi tutên indoi lâiin hi ringlâi hoinangei hih minpol ngâi mak.
No soldier on duty entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.
5 Tân insietna ânchelpu khom balamngei jômin a tân nônchu râisânman man ngâi mak.
Also, if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he has competed by the rules.
6 Loia sintho ranak songpu ngêt hah amara ât masatak rang ani.
The farmers who labor must be the first to get a share of the crops.
7 Ko chong ti hi mindon roh, asikchu Pumapa'n riettheina nang pêk let atih.
Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in all things.
8 Jisua Khrista, David richisuonpâr, Thurchi Sa misîra nang ki ril sai, thina renga inthoinôkpu hah riettit roh.
Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, a descendant of David, according to my Good News,
9 Thurchi Sa sika mipuoloi angin khitbelin intakna ngei khom ku tuong ngâia. Aniatachu Pathien chong chu khitbelin om ngâi maka,
in which I suffer hardship to the point of chains as a criminal. But God's word is not chained.
10 male Khrista Jisua renga juong ngâi sanminringna le kumtuong roiinpuina mintung ngâi hah an man sa theina rangin Pathien thangsai mingei jârin intakna ngei murdi ku tuongdier ngâi ani. (aiōnios )
Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones' sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with everlasting glory. (aiōnios )
11 Hi chong hih adika ti ani: “Ama leh ei thîn chu, ama leh ring nôk sa ei ti u.
This saying is faithful: "For if we died with him, we will also live with him.
12 Ei tuongdier bangin chu, ama leh roijêk sa ei ti u. Ama ei ipdelin chu, ama khom mi ipdel atih.
If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us.
13 Eini hih taksônom no khom ila, ama chu taksônomin a omtit ngâi ani, amananâkin adikloiin a om theiloi sikin.”
If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself."
14 Hi chong hih ni mingei minrietnôk roh, male chong kâmnângloia an inkhal loina rangin Pathien mitmua inningna ngartak pêk ngei roh. Ma inkhalna hah ite asatna om maka, arangâi ngei kai asiet ngei ngâi ani.
Remind them of these things, charging them in the presence of God, not to wrangle about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.
15 Sinthopu, Pathien chongtak diktaka mi minchu ngâipu, a sintho inzakpui loi anghan Pathien mitmua pomna tatak na chang theina rangin ranak song roh.
Do your best to present yourself approved by God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, properly handling the word of truth.
16 Pathien ngikloina le amo injêknangei renga inkêm roh, mahah mingei Pathien renga amin la tetet ngâi.
But shun empty chatter, for they will proceed further in ungodliness,
17 Ma anga minchuna ha chu pânsie ân-ong taksa asâk minhek ngâi ang hah ani. Mi inik ma anga mi minchu ngâi chu Hymenaeus le Philetus ngei hah an ni.
and their word will consume like gangrene, of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
18 Ha mingei hah chongtak lampui ha an mâka, ei inthoinôkna chu atung suo zoi, tiin iempu senkhat ngei taksônna an min duoi ngâi.
who have erred concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past, and overthrowing the faith of some.
19 Aninâkachu Pathien lungphûm dettak ha chu min nîk thei maka; male ma chung han hi chongngei hih miziekin aom: “Pumapa'n ama ta ngei chu a riet ngâi,” male “Tukhom Pumapa ta ki ni ti kaiin chu asaloi thona renga an inhei ngêt rang ani.”
However God's firm foundation stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness."
20 In lienpa hin bêlbûrngei le khuriâingei jât tamtak an oma: senkhat chu rângkachak le sumdâra sin an nia, senkhat ngei chu thing le pilpoka sin an nia; senkhat ngei chu zora dang uola mang rangin a sina, senkhat ngei chu mang papai rangin a sin ani.
Now in a large house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of clay. Some are for honor, and some for dishonor.
21 Tukhom amapa mini, amanu mini hah asaloi neinunngei murdi renga ânthienga anînchu, zora dang uol ngeia mang nîng an tih, asikchu anni ngei hah an Pu ta ranga inpêk sai le kâmom an nia, sin sa ngei murdi thona rangin mang ranga om sai an ni.
If anyone therefore purges himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master's use, prepared for every good work.
22 Vânglâi ôinangei mâk inla, mulungrîl inthienga Pumapa ralam ngei kai kôm dikna, taksônna, lungkhamna le inngêina ngei rujûl sa roh.
Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 Aniatachu amo le iterietloi inkhalnangei renga inkêm inla; ma ngei hah insuolnangeiin kêng among ngâi ti ni riet sikin.
But refuse foolish and ignorant questionings, knowing that they generate strife.
24 Pumapa tîrlâm ni ni anghan mi leh nên suol tet rang nimaka. Mi murdi chunga sing inla, minchupu sa le tuongthei ni roh,
The Lord's servant must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient,
25 nang doipungei nunnêm taka mindikpu ni roh, asikchu Pathien'n insîrna zorânchum pêk ngei a ta chongtak la hong riet an tih.
in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth,
26 Hanchu hôn rietsuok an ta, a lungdo min sin ngei ranga anni ngei sûrpu Diabol chong min jômna rang châng renga hah la jôkpai an tih.
and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to his will.
