Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it was with you.

2 Mitinin thurchi hah an iem khâi loi sikin mipuoloi ngei le misaloi ngei renga Pathien'n mi kêlsuo rang khomin chubai mi tho pe roi.

And pray that we may be rescued from deviant and evil men, for not all have faith.

3 Aninâka Pumapa chu taksônom ania, male nangni min râtin Puoloipa Inkhat renga nangni mojôk atih.

But the Lord is faithful; he will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

4 Male Pumapa'n nin chunga ngamriemna mi pêk ngâi, male nangni kin ril ngei hah tho nin ta, male tho mozom bang ngêt nin tih, tiin takinsônchêt ani.

We have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command you.

5 Pumapa han Pathien lungkhamna rietheina lien uol le tuongdierna Khrista'n a pêk ngâi tieng nangni ruoi rese.

May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ.

6 Kin lâibungngei le sarnungei, kin rilnangei jûi nuom loia rathaboi taka om iempungei renga inkêm rangin Pumapa Jisua Khrista rimingin chongpêk nangni kin pêk ngei ani.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother who walks in idleness and does not live according to the teaching we passed on to them.

For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you,

nor did we eat bread from anyone free of charge. On the contrary, with labor and hardship we worked day and night so as not to be a burden to any of you.

9 Mi san rangin nangni sîngtheina racham kin dônloi sika, maha kin tho nimaka, nin jûi rang piela minenna ranga maha kin tho ani.

We did this, not because we do not have the right to be supported, but to present ourselves as an example for you to imitate.

10 Nin kôm kin om lâihan, “Tukhomin sin a tho nuom nônchu sâk khom sâk no rese,” ti chong hih kin ti ngâi ani.

For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: “If anyone is not willing to work, neither should he eat.”

11 Nin lâia mi senkhat chu rathaboi takin, midangngei sintho chunga chier pêna chu ite tho riek loiin an ringnunngei mang an om ti kin riet sikin maha kin ti ani.

For we hear that some among you are walking in idleness, not working at all, but being busybodies.

12 Ha mingei hah ringnunngei satak dôna, sinthoa, an ringna rang chit lo rangin Pumapa Jisua Khrista rimingin chong kin pêk ngei ani.

Now we command and exhort such people by our Lord Jesus Christ to work quietly and eat their own bread.

13 Aniatachu, kin lâibungngei le sarnungei, nangni chu sin asa tho nin sôl rang nimak.

But as for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.

14 Tukhomin hi lekhamuthuona kin chongbê nangni kin minpêl hih a jôm nônchu ânzak theina rangin mindang ungla, inloppui no roi.

If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of him and do not associate with him, so that he will feel ashamed.

15 Aniatachu nan râl angin chu tho no ungla; manêkin, iempu-champui angin inningna pêk ngei roi.

Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

16 Pumapa ei inngêina bulpui lelên, zoratin lam tina inngêina nangni pêk rese. Pumapa hah nin rênga nin kôm om rese.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.

17 Mahi ku kut lelên ki miziek ani: Paul renga chibaingei. Ma hih ke lekhamuthuon nâma suoikai ko tho ngâia; ma anghin ki miziek ngâi ani.

I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. This is the distinguishing mark in all my letters; it is the way I write.

18 Ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista moroina hah nin rênga nin kôm om rese.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
