For of the relief which is for the saints, it is needless for me to write to you.

2 San rang nin nuom tiin ki rieta, male Macedonia rama mingei kôm, “Achaia rama lâibungngei le sarnungei,” anni chu, “Nikum renga san rangin an inthok sai kêng ani zoi.” tiin nangni ko song ani. Nin jôtna han an lâia mi tamtak akaithoi minhar ngei ani.

For I know your readiness of mind, on account of which I boasted of you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago: and your zeal has incited very many.

3 Atûn hin hi lâibungngei hih ku juongtîr ngei ani, masika han nangni kin songna chungroi hah chongbâingei koronga ânlet loina rangin. Aniatachu, ki tisai anghan, nin sanna lehan inthoksaiin lei om roi.

But I have sent the brethren, that our boasting of you in this respect may not be in vain; that you may be ready, as I said:

4 Nikhomrese, Macedonia ram renga mingei ngânin ni juong jûiin nin inthok loi juong mu duoi ta rese ngeia, idôr mo kin inzak rang — nangni nin inzak rang pairakin — tak nangni kin sôn sabak tie ha!

lest, possibly, should the Macedonians come with me, and find you unprepared, we (not to say you) might be made ashamed by this same confident boasting.

5 Masikin neinunpêk ranga nin inkhâm hah nin lênthok theina rangin hi lâibungngei hih ko motona nin kôm lei juong ranga ngên rangin anângin ki riet. Hanchu ku juong tung tena chu lêntuosai nîng a ta, male nin dôn sika niloiin nin nuom sika nin pêk ani ti inlang atih.

Therefore, I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go before to you, and make ready beforehand your bounty, which has been so much talked of before, that this might be ready as a bounty, and not as a gift extorted from you.

6 Chimu tômte lingpu han sâkthar tômte dôn a ta; chimu atam lingpu han atam dôn atih, ti hih riettit roi.

But remember this, that he who sows sparingly, shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully, shall also reap bountifully.

7 Hanchu, nin sisika, nin masat angin nin pêk rang ani, insîr pum le nin sintum ani ti rietloi niloiin; mulungtâihieia pêkpu hah Pathien'n a lungkham ngâi sikin.

Let each one give, as he purposes in his heart; not with grief, nor from necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.

8 Male Pathien'n nin nâng nêka tam nangni a pêk thei, masikin nin nâng murdi nin dôn tita, sin asa ngei rangin dôn thei uol nin tih.

And God is able to confer every gift upon you abundantly, that you, always having all sufficiency in every thing, may have enough for every good work;

9 Pathien lekhabu'n, “Phaltakin ânsamngei kôm a pêk ngâia; a lungkhamna chu tuonsôtin adier ngâi,” ati anghan. (aiōn g165)

as it is written: He has scattered abroad; he has given to the poor; his righteousness remains forever. (aiōn g165)

10 Male Pathien'n, chimuru rethe ranga pêkbang ngâipu le vâipôl sâk ranga pêkbang ngâipu, han chimu nan nâng murdi nangni pêkbangin nangni minsôn pe a ta, phaltaka nin pêkna renga han amara tamtak mintûp rang nangni musuo pêng atih.

Now, he that furnishes seed to the sower will both furnish bread for food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;

11 Phaltaka nin pêk tit theina rangin Pathien'n nangni min nei tit a ta, mi tamtakin nin neinunpêkngei keini renga an man sika han Pathien kôm râisânchong misîr an tih.

that you may be enriched in every thing, for all liberality which produces through us thanksgiving to God;

12 Hi nin chuonsin hin Pathien mingei an nângngei a mintongngei vai nimaka, Pathien kôm aliemrak dôra râisânchong misîrna lientak khom amusuo ngâi ani.

because the administration of this service not only supplies the wants of the saints, but also abounds in many thanksgivings to God;

13 Male nin chuonsin minthârna amintung sika han mi tamtakin Pathien kôm roiinpuina pêk an tih, Khrista thurchisa nin phuong ngâia iem nin om sik le an ta rang le mitin ta ranga phal tatak nin insempui ngei sika han.

(since through the proof which this service gives, they glorify God for your acknowledged subjection to the gospel of Christ, and for the liberality of your contribution for them, and for all; )

14 Male masikin moroina inthûk tak dônin chubai nangni tho pe an tih, Pathien'n moroina aliekasa nangni a min mu sikin.

and in their prayer for you, since they have strong affection for you on account of the eminent grace of God that is in you.

15 Amanboi neinunpêk sika han Pathien kôm râisânchong misîr ei tih u.

Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.
