< 2 Korinth 2 >
1 Masikin nangni minngûi nôk ranga nin kôm hong khâi loi rangin ku mulungbôk ki sinsiem zoi.
But I determined this within myself, not to return again to you in sorrow.
2 Nangni minngûi ronga tumo râisân mi shak ranga? Ki minngûi loi tute om mak ngei.
For if I make you sorrowful, then who is it that can make me glad, except the one who is made sorrowful by me?
3 Masika han kêng ke lekhamuthuon hah nin kôm ki miziek — râisân mi shak rang ngei tak hah nangni minngûi ranga hong rang chu nuom mu-ung. Ka râisânin chu nangni khom nin râiasân ngâi ti ki riet sikin.
And so, I wrote this same thing to you, so that I might not, when I arrive, add sorrow to sorrow for those with whom I ought to rejoice, having confidence in you in all things, so that my joy may be entirely yours.
4 Mulungbôk injêl leh beidong takin le mitrithingei tamtak tâkpuma ki miziek ani; ke neinunkhîn chu nangni minngûi loia, nin rêngin kho dôr mo nangni ku lungkham hih nin riet theina rang sika ani.
For with much tribulation and anguish of heart, I wrote to you with many tears: not so that you would be sorrowful, but so that you might know the charity that I have more abundantly toward you.
5 Atûn, hin tumakhatin nangni minngûiin chu, keima mi minngûi nimaka, nin rêngin nangni minngûi ri-riek let ani. (Hima hih ki tina abitak chu a chunga ânngar rai ku nuom loi sika ani.)
But if anyone has brought sorrow, he has not sorrowed me. Yet, for my part, this is so that I might not burden all of you.
6 Ha mi hah chu nin lâia mi tam uolin ma anga dûk nin tho hah ahun zoi ani.
Let this rebuke be sufficient for someone like this, for it has been brought by many.
7 Nikhomresea, atûn, ngâidam ungla male ama hah mohôk roi, ânngûi phar loina rangin.
So then, to the contrary, you should be more forgiving and consoling, lest perhaps someone like this may be overwhelmed with excessive sorrow.
8 Masikin ama hah nin lungkham tatak ani ti nin min riet rangin nangni ki ngên.
Because of this, I beg you to confirm your charity toward him.
9 Nin kôma lekhamuthuon ki miziekna bi tak chu minsina han nin lei hong indingdet le nangni ki rilna chong zoratin jôm tit rangin nin inthok mo ti riet ku nuom sika ani.
It was for this reason, also, that I wrote, so that I might know, by testing you, whether you would be obedient in all things.
10 Tukhom amanu mo amapa mo a sintho chunga nin ngâidam tika chu kei khom ka ngâidam ngei ani. Kei khomin ka ngâidam sa ngâi. Ka ngâidam tika chu, adiktakin, i-ih khom ngâidam rang ka nâng kai chu nangni sikin Khrista makunga ka ngâidam ngâi ani,
But anyone whom you have forgiven of anything, I also forgive. And then, too, anyone I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, it was done in the person of Christ for your sakes,
11 Soitan'n ei chunga zorânchum a man loina rangin; a mintuonangei hah ei riet chien sikin.
so that we would not be circumvented by Satan. For we are not ignorant of his intentions.
12 Khrista Thurchi Sa misîr rangin Troas taka ku tungin chu, mataka sintho rangin Pumapa'n lampui mi lei mo-ong pe ku mua.
And when I had arrived at Troas, because of the Gospel of Christ, and a door had opened to me in the Lord,
13 Aniatachu ei lâibungpa Titus ku mu loi sikin ka kângdoi sabaka. Masikin mataka mingei hah he hoiin ka mathân ngeia Macedonia rama ke se zoi ani.
I had no rest within my spirit, because I was not able to find Titus, my brother. So, saying goodbye to them, I set out for Macedonia.
14 Hannirese Pathien kôm râisânchong om rese! Khrista motorna sika lampui jûina han mi intângngei anghan Pathien'n Khrista leh inzomin mi ruoi tit ngâi sikin. Khrista rietna thurchi hah muntina mirimhoi angin minzar rangin Pathien'n mi mang ngâi ani.
But thanks be to God, who always brings triumph to us in Christ Jesus, and who manifests the fragrance of his knowledge through us in every place.
15 Keini chu Khrista'n mirimhoi hâla Pathien kôma pêk sanminring tira om ngei le ânmang tira om ngei lâia minzar anghan kin ni.
For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ for God, both with those who are being saved and with those who are perishing.
16 Ânmang tira om ngei ta rangin chu thina rang mirimsie ania; aniatachu sanminring tira om ngei ta rangin chu ringna rang mirimhoi ani. Hanchu, tumo ha sin thothei rangin achuk rang ani zoi?
To the one, certainly, the fragrance is of death unto death. But to the other, the fragrance is of life unto life. And concerning these things, who is so suitable?
17 Midangngei tamtak chu Pathien chong hi sadâi thonân an mang anghan keini chu nimak mea; hannirese Pathien'n mi tîrna sikin kêng Khrista tîrlâmngei anghan Pathien mitmua takintâi takin kin chong ngâi ani.
For we are not like many others, adulterating the Word of God. But instead, we speak with sincerity: from God, before God, and in Christ.
