Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and [his] doctrine may not be blasphemed.

2 Suokngei Khristien puma dôn ngei han an pumangei enminnuoi tet no rese ngei, asikchu, anni ngei hah khom an iempu champuingei an ni sikin. And they that have believing masters, let them not despise [them], because they are brethren; but rather do [them] service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.

3 Tukhom chongrin dang a minchua, ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista chong dikngei leh ei sakhuo tienga minchuna dik hah a pom jôt nônchu

If any man teacheth otherwise, and consenteth not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the doctrine which is according to godliness,

4 ama hah inpâknân a sipa ite riet loi ani. Ama han insuolna le inkhalna chongngei tieng nuomna saloi a dôn ani, male ma renga han narsanangei, bâiinkhamnangei, inêronangei, sietna taksôn zoiloinangei,

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, from which cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

5 male mulungbôkngei sêttak le chongtak mindonna reng dôn khâiloi mingei han inkhal râtna ngei an musuo ngâi. Anni ngei han sakhuo hih hong neina lampui ani tiin an mindon ani.

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

6 Ani, sakhuo hin mi min nei sabak ngâi, ei dôn chunga han ei mulungachukin chu.

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

7 Imo rammuola hin ei juong chôi lût? Ite nimak! Imo rammuol renga ei jôkpui thei rang? Ite nimak!

For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out.

8 Masikin, sâknêk le sillebomngei ei dônin chu eini rangin ahun.

And having food and raiment, with these let us be content.

9 Aniatachu nei rang bôk ngei chu huongna han an tâka, ôinangei saloitak le mi sietthei chânga han an inôk ngâi, mahan sietna le ramna tieng akaithâk ngei ngâi.

But they that will be rich, fall into temptation, and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 Asikchu sum miditna hi saloi ngei murdi bulpui ani. Maha senkhatin an râivala, taksônna renga an invâia, ngâisietnangei tamtakin an mulungrîlngei asunkhoi ngâi ani.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11 Aniatachu, nangma Pathien mi, ma neinunngei murdi hah lôi inla, dikna, Pathien angna, taksônna, lungkhamna, tuongdierna, le nunnêmna ngei hah rujûl tit roh.

But thou, O man of God, flee from these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

12 Taksônna tâninsietna han ranak songin tân inla, male nangma rangin kumtuong ringna hah man roh; maha chang rangin Pathien'n nang a koi ani, rietpuipungei tamtak mitmua hâitaka na taksônna nu phuong lâihan. (aiōnios g166)

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)

13 Pathien makunga, neinunngei murdi ringna pêkpu le Khrista Jisua, Pontius Pilat, makunga a taksônna hâitaka a phuongpu mitmua han chong nang ke pêk

I give thee charge in the sight of God, who maketh alive all things, and [before] Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate testified a good confession;

14 ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista a juong inlâr nôkna Nikhuo dêna chongpêkngei hah taksônomtaka jôma male dar rangin.

That thou keep [this] commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

15 Ânlârna ha chu azora taka Pathien satvura ompu le Roijêkpu vai han, rêngngei Rêng le pumangei Pumapa han mintung atih.

Which in his times he will show [who is] the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16 Ama vai ke athitheiloi ania; tute nâi theiloi vâra han a om ngâi. Ama chu tutên la mu mak ngeia; tute khomin mu thei mak ngei. Ama kôm han miritna le kumtuong sinthotheina chu om rese! Amen. (aiōnios g166)

Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honor and power everlasting. Amen. (aiōnios g166)

17 Hi rammuola anei ngei hih inpâk loi rang le rochon inthîkloia hin an sabeina minngam loia, ei râisânna ranga neinun murdi manartetloia mi pêk ngâipu Pathien chunga han minngam rangin chong pêk ngei roh. (aiōn g165)

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn g165)

18 Sin sa tho rangin chongpêk ngei inla, sin sa thoa nei rangin, manarloia midangngei sem sa rangin.

That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

19 Ma anghan thôn, anta rangin rochon mintûp an ta, maha sûnmotona rangin lungphûm dettak nîng atih. Hanchu ringna hah chang thei an tih, ringna tatak hah.

Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

20 Timothy, no kôma minkola om hah hôih roh. Pathien ngikloina chongti le amo inkhalnangei, mi senkhatin dikloi taka “Rietna” an ti hah lôi roh.

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane [and] vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called;

21 Maha senkhat ngeiin an dôn mini intîn, male an taksônna lampui hah an minmang zoi. Pathien moroina hah nin rênga nin kôm om rase.

Which some professing, have erred concerning the faith. Grace [be] with thee. Amen.
