< 1 Timothy 2 >
1 Hanchu, amotontaka, ngênna chubaithonangei, invûinangei, le râisânchong rilnangei hih mingei murdi ta rangin Pathien kôm pêk pe ngei rangin nangni ke ngêna;
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 rêngngei le adang rachamnei ngei murdi ta rang khom, dâiriem le inngêitaka Pathien tienga mân thona murdi le nunchan diktak leh ringnun manga ei om theina rangin.
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all reverence and seriousness.
3 Mahi asa, le Pathien mi Sanminringpu râisân ruo piel ania:
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of YHWH our Saviour;
4 ama'n mi murdi sanminringa an om rang le chongtak an riet rangin a nuom ngâi ani.
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 Pathien hih inkhat vai aoma, male Pathien le miriemngei minchunpu inkhat vai aom nôka, miriem Khrista Jisua hah,
For there is one Elohim, and one mediator between Elohim and men, the man Yahushua the Messiah;
6 miriem jât pumpui ratanna ranga ân pêkpu hah ani. Maha Pathien'n mi murdi sanminring rangin a nuom ti azora taka riet minthâr ani,
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7 male masika han kêng keima hi taksônna le chongtak thurchi phuong rangin, Jentailngei kôm tîrton le minchupua tîr ki ni. Milak tho mu unga; chongtak kêng ki ril!
Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in the Messiah, and lie not; ) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
8 Koiindang inkhôm tina pasal Pathiena ânpêk ngeiin an kut inthieng ngei pharin, takminsi loiin le inkhal loiin chubaitho senla ngei ku nuom ani.
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
9 Ma angdênin, nupangngei khom sillebomngei ahundôr le satak le balam takin invo senla ngeia, samphierin mini, rângkachakin mini, lungmantamin mini, rovo mantamin mini invo no rese ngei ku nuom sa,
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10 hannirese, nupang sakhuotienga mi inti ngei ha chu an inhoi lam takin sin sân invo rese ngei.
But (which becometh women professing reverence) with good works.
11 Nupangngei chu dâirekin le rangâiinchîna murdi'n an inchu rang ani.
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 Mi minchu rangin mini, aninônchu pasal chunga rachamnei rangin mini phal mu unga; an dâirek ngêt rang ani.
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 Asikchu Adam hah sin bak ania, male kêng Eve hah sin ani.
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 Male huonga om hah Adam nimaka; nupang ha ke huongin aoma, Pathien balam a siet ani.
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Aniatachu nupang hah nâingei a neina sikin sanminringin om atih, taksônna le lungkhamna male inthiengna ngei leh inpâkpuiloiin duoiloiin a tuongdier ngâiin chu.
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
