< 1 Peter 5 >
1 Keima, nin lâia koiindang upangei hah, keima an upa champui, Khrista tuongna rietpuipu, roiinpuina juong inlang ranga rangtum man rangpu hin nangni ki ngên ani.
The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 Pathien'n nangni ai pêk belri pâl donsûi rang le jôtloiin ni loiin, Pathien nuomlama jôttaka donsûi rangin. Lo ririem sik ni loiin sintho ranga nuomna tak dônin nin sintum hah tho roi.
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight [thereof], not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3 Nin donsûingei chunga inlal rangin pût no ungla, hannirese belripâlngei enton rang chang roi.
Neither as being lords over [God’s] heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
4 Male Belrihôlpu Inlaltak hah a juong inlâr tika chu Rênglukhum roiinpuitak, avârna inmang ngâiloi hah man nin tih.
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
5 Ma angdên han, nangni nâipanguol ngei, ulienngei kôma inpêklût roi. Sin nin inthope inlôm theina rangin, nunnêmnân invo roi; Pathien lekhabu'n, “Pathien'n mi ânpâkngei chu adoia, aniatachu mi nunnêm ngei chu a midit ngâi,” ai ti anghan.
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Masikin azora taka nangni a chôiminsâng theina rangin Pathien kut râttak nuoia han nuninnêm takin om roi.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Nangni a donsûi ngâi sikin nin kângdoinangei murdi ama chunga bâng riei roi.
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Intûng chienin en chak roi! Nin râlpa Diabol hah ikeibaknei ânrâm anghan a sâk rang rokin a chaititîr ngâi kêng.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Rammuol pumpuia nin iempu champui ngei khomin ma angdên han an tuong sa iti nin riet sikin nin taksônna mindet titin ama hah doi roi.
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10 Hannirese chomolte nin tuong suole chu, moroina murdi Pathien, Khrista leh inzoma a kumtuong roiinpuina chang ranga nangni koipu lele han nangni sinmikhippin detna, râtna le lungphûm adet nangni pêng a tih. (aiōnios )
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you]. (aiōnios )
11 Ama kôma han sinthotheina chu tuonsôtin om rese! Amen. (aiōn )
To him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
12 Hi lekhamuthuon abongte hih Khristien champui taksônom Silas, sanna jâra ki miziek ani. Nangni mohôka, ma hih Pathien moroina diktak ani iti ko chungroi nangni min riet ka nuom ani. Mahin inding dettit roi.
By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
13 Babylona, om nin sarnu Pathien'n ai thang koiindang le ka nâipasal Mark khomin chibai nangni an mûk sa.
The [church that is] at Babylon, elected together with [you], saluteth you; and [so doth] Marcus my son.
14 Khristien lungkhamna intum inthiengin chibai inmûk inlôm ngâi roi. Nin lâia Khrista ta ngei murdi kôm han inngêina om rese.
Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace [be] with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
