< 1 John 4 >

1 Ku ruol moroitak ngei, Ratha ko dôn ti ngei murdi iem pai no roi, aniatachu an ratha dôn hah Pathien renga ani le niloi minsin roi. Asikchu dêipu adikloi tamtak muntina an suok zoi.
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Pathien Ratha ani le niloi chu ma anghin riet nin tih: tukhom Jisua Khrista munisi'n a juong iti rietminthâra muphuongpu ngei chu Pathien renga Ratha dôn an ni.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 Hannirese Jisua chungroi adem kai chu Pathien renga Ratha dôn ni mak. Ama ratha dôn ha chu Khrista Râl renga kêng ani; la hong om a tih, ti nin rieta, male atûn hin rammuola a om sai piel ani zoi.
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Aniatachu, ka nâingei, Pathien ta nin nia, male dêipu dikloingei hah nin mene zoi, nin kôma om Ratha hah rammuol mingei kôma om ratha nêkin chu sinthotheina a dôn uol sikin.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 Ma dêipu dikloingei han rammuol roingei an misîra, rammuolin an chong a rangâi ngâi, rammuol ta an ni sikin.
They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 Aniatachu eini chu Pathien ta ei ni. Tukhom Pathien riet ngeiin chu ei chong an rangâia; tukhom Pathien mi ni nônchu ei chong rangâi ngâi mak ngei. Hanchu, mahi, Ratha diktak le dikloi sensâi theina kin misîr thei chu ani.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Ruol midit om ngei, inkhat le inkhat inlungkham inlôm ei tih u, lungkhamna hi Pathien renga suok ani sikin. Tukhom lungkhamna dôn chu Pathien nâi ania, Pathien khom a riet.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 Tukhom lungkhamna dôn loi chu Pathien khom riet mak, Pathien chu lungkhamna ani sikin.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 Ama jâra ringna ei man theina rangin Pathien'n a Nâipasal khat mamang rammuola juongtîrin a lungkhamna ei chunga a minlang ani.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Mahi lungkhamna chu ani: ei nîn Pathien ei lungkham bak ni maka, aniatachu ama'n kêng mi lungkhama, ei sietnangei renga ngâidam ei chang theina rangin a Nâipasal a juongtîr ani.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.
11 Ruol midit om ngei, Pathien'n ma angtakin mi lungkhamin te, eini khom inkhat le inkhat ên lungkham rang ani.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 Khotiklâi khomin tutên Pathien mu ngâi mak ngei, aniatachu, inkhat le inkhat ên lungkham inlômin chu Pathien eini leh inzomin aoma, a lungkhamna khom eini hin mikhipin aom ngâi ani.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13 Pathien'n ama Ratha mi pêk zoi sikin ama leh inzomin ei oma, male ama eini leh inzomin aom ti ei riet minthâr ani.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
14 Male Pa'n a Nâipasal rammuol Sanminringpu ni rangin a juongtîr ti ei mu zoia, midangngei khom ei ril sa ani.
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son [to be] the Saviour of the world.
15 Tukhom Jisua hi Pathien Nâipasal ani tia muphuong chu, Pathien leh inzomin a oma Pathien khom ama leh inzomin a om ngâi ani.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16 Pathien'n eini ranga lungkhamna a dôn hah ei rieta, male ei iem ani. Pathien chu lungkhamna ania, tukhom lungkhamna taka om chu Pathien leh inzomin an oma, Pathien khom anni leh inzomin aom ngâi.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 Roijêkna Nikhuo han hâina ei nei theina rangin lungkhamna hah einia hin mikhipin a om zoi; male hi rammuola ei ringna hih Khrista om anghan ei om sikin maha la dôn ei tih.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 Lungkhamnân chu china om maka; lungkhamna akippin china a rujûlpai ngâi. Masikin, tukhom china la nei chu ama han lungkhamna akippin a la om loi ani, asikchu china han dûktongna aom ani.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 Pathien'n mi lungkham bak sikin ei lungkham ani.
We love him, because he first loved us.
20 Pathien ku lungkham tiin ei lâibungngei le sarnu ngei mumâk ila, milak kêng eini rang ani. Mîn a lâibungngei le sarnu ngei a mu bang ngei luo a lungkham thei nônte, Pathien a mu loi vâng hate kho angin mo a lungkham thei ranga?
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 Khrista'n chongpêk mi pêk hah mahi ani: Tukhomin Pathien a lungkhamin chu a lâibungngei le sarnu ngei khom a lungkham ngêt sa rang ani.
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
