1 John 2
1 Ka nâingei nunsie nin tho loina rangin hi chong hih ki miziek ani; aniatachu tukhom nunsie a thôn chu, Pa kôm ei ruthûla mi ngên pepu Jisua Khrista, mi dik hah ei dôn.
My little children, I write these things unto you, that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
2 Male Khrista hih ei nunsie ngei ngâidama ei omna ani; eini nunsie vai ni maka, mi murdi nunsie khom ani sa.
And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 Pathien chongpêkngei ei jômin chu ama ei riet ti ei riet minthâr ani.
And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep his commandments.
4 Einin ama ki riet tiin a chongpêkngei jôm no ila, eini hah milak ei nia, eini han chongtak a om loi ani.
He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 Tutu khom a chong jômpu ngei chu Pathien lungkhamna hah an mikhip tatak ani. Pathien leh inzomin ei om ti mahin ei riet minthâr thei ani:
But whosoever keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: and by this we know that we are in Him.
6 tukhom Pathien leh inzomin ko om ei tiin chu Jisua Khrista om anghan ei om sa rang ani.
He that saith, he abideth in Him, ought himself also so to walk even as He walked.
7 Ka mal moroitak ngei, hi chongpêk nin kôma ki miziek hi athar ni mak; chongpêk muruo aphut renga nin dôn hah ani. Ma chongpêk muruo hah nin lei riet sai thurchi ani.
Brethren, I write not a new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning: the old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning:
8 Hannoma, chongpêk atûna nin kôma ki miziek hi chu athar ani, asikchu chongtak hah Khrista taka le nangni ngeia hin ânlang. Ajîng hah ahek tira male avâr tatak hah a juong vâr zoi ani.
though I write it again as a new commandment, which is truth in Him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
9 Tukhomin avâra kin om tiin an lâibung ngei le sarnu ngei an la mumâk titin chu, atûn tena hin ijînga an la om bang ani.
Now he that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is still in darkness:
10 Tukhomin an lâibungngei le sarnu ngei an lungkhamin chu avâra an om tita, annia han sietna inpalna rang reng om mak.
whereas, he that loveth his brother, abideth in the light, and is in no danger of stumbling.
11 Ania tukhom ei lâibungngei le ei sarnu ngei la mumâkpu chu ajînga ei oma; ajînga ei lôn banga, ajîngin ei mit a mincho zoi sikin ei sena khom riet ngâi mak me.
But he, that hateth his brother, is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not where he goeth, because the darkness hath blinded his eyes.
12 Ka nâingei, Khrista jârin nin nunsie ngei ngâidamin a om zoi sikin nin kôm ki miziek ani.
I write unto you, little children, because for his sake your sins are forgiven you:
13 Pa ngei, ama hah aphut renga a omtit hah nin riet sikin nin kôm ki miziek ani. Vânglâingei, Saloi Inkhat hah nin mene zoi sikin nin kôm ki miziek ani.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning: and I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. Yea I have written to you, little children, because ye have known the Father:
14 Ka nâingei, Pa hah nin riet sikin nin kôm ki miziek ani. Pa ngei ama hah aphut renga a omtit hah nin riet sikin nin kôm ki miziek ani. Vânglâingei, nin râta; Pathien chong nin sûnga a om tita, male Saloi Inkhat hah nin mene zoi sikin nin kôm ki miziek ani.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning: and I have written to you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one---
15 Rammuol hi midit no ungla, hanchu rammuola neinun ngei khom ite midit no roi. Rammuol nin miditin chu Pa nin lungkham loi ani.
Love not the world, nor the things that are in the world; for if any one love the world to excess, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 Rammuola neinun a omngei murdi taksa ôina ngei, miriem mita mu theingei le anâng ngei, male miriem damsûng insongpuina ngei hi khote Pa renga juong nimak ngei; hima ngei murdi hi rammuol renga korong an ni.
For all that is in the world, the desire of the flesh, and the desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but of the world.
17 Rammuol le a sûnga neinunngei murdi miriemin an ôingei hih ânmang tir ani; aniatachu Pathien lungdo sinngei chu tuonsôtin om tit an tih. (aiōn g165)
And the world passeth away, and the desire of it: but he, that doth the will of God, abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
18 Ka nâingei, zora mongna anâi zoi! Khrista Râl la hong om atih, tia rila nin om anghan; Khrista râlngei tamtak an inlang zoi, masikin zora mongna anâi zoi tiin ei riet ani.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that an antichrist will come, there are even now many antichrists, whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 Hi mingei hih ei pâla mi reng ni mak ngei, masika han min mâksan ani; ei pâla mi nisenla ngei chu, ei kôm om tit an tih. Aniatachu min mâksan sikin ei pâla mi ni tatak mak ngei ti chu ânthâr thei ani.
They went out from us, but they were not of us: for if they had been indeed of us, they would have continued with us; but this was done that they might be made manifest, because all, that are with us, are not indeed of us.
20 Hannirese Khrista'n Ratha Inthieng nin chunga a vur zoi sikin nin rêngin chongtak nin riet ani.
And ye have an unction from the holy One, and know all.
21 Hanchu chongtak riet mak chei ti sika nin kôm ki miziek ni maka; manêkin, chongtak nin riet sik le chongtak renga milak reng suok ngâi mak ti khom nin riet sika ani.
I have not therefore written to you, because ye know not the truth; but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Nônte, tumo milak ani? Tukhom Jisua chu Messiah ni mak tipu hah ani. Ma anga mi ngei hah Khrista Râlngei an nia Pa le Nâipasal anni innikin an heng ani.
Who is a liar, if not he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, that denieth the Father as well as the Son;
23 Tukhom Nâipasal hengpu chu Pa khom a heng ani; tukhom Nâipasal pom chu Pa khom a pom sa ani.
for whosoever denieth the Son, hath not the Father: but he that confesseth the Son acknowledgeth the Father also.
24 Nangni chu aphut renga nin chong riet hah nin mulungrîla vong tit rangin mindon roi. Hanchu ma chong hah nin vong titin chu Nâipasal le Pa leh inzomin om tit nin tih.
Let that therefore, which ye have heard from the beginning, abide in you: for if that, which ye heard from the beginning, remain in you, ye also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
And this is the promise which He hath promised us, even eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
26 Ma nangni huong ranga bôk ngei thurchi hah nin kôm ki miziek ani.
These things have I written unto you concerning those who would seduce you.
27 Aniatachu nangni chu, Khrista'n ama Ratha nin chunga a vur zoia, ama Ratha hah nin sûnga a om tena chu, tute minchu rang nâng mak chei. Ama Ratha han neinun murdi nangni a minchua, male nangni minchu ngei khom adika, adikloi nimak. Ratha minchuna hah jôm ungla, male Khrista leh inzomin omtit roi.
But the unction, which ye have received from Him, abideth in you; and therefore ye have no need that any should teach you: since this very unction teacheth you concerning all things, and is truth and not falshood; even as that hath taught you, abide in Him.
28 Ani, ka nâingei, ama leh inzomin omtit roi, hanchu ama a juong inlâr Nikhuo han inzaka inthup loiin hâitakin om thei nin tih.
And now, little children, abide, I say, in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and may not be ashamed before Him at his coming.
29 Khrista chu midik ani; ti nin riet sikin tukhom adik sinpu chu Pathien nâi ani ti nin riet rang ani.
If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one, who practiseth righteousness, is born of Him.
