1 Atûn, nin lâia inditnasaloi aom ti mîn an hong misîr baka, ma-angdôra inditnasaloi ha chu sonongngei lâia luo om ngâi mak. Mi inkhatin a puingâk a jâlpui ngâi ti khom min lei ril ani!

It is reported commonly [that there is] lewdness among you, and such lewdness as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

2 Hanchu, kho angin mo nin lân song bang theia? Ânsong nêkin, Ma anga saloi thopu ha chu nin inzomkhômna renga nin rujûlpai theina rangin kângdoinân nin sip uol rang ani.

And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

3 Nin lâia taksan inchel thei no khom ronga ratha'n chu kên chel ani; nan lâia om anghan ei Pumapa Jisua rimingin ma angtaka saloi ichi om thopu chunga han roi ke jêkmasat zoi. Nangni le keima ratha Pumapa Jisua sinthotheinân intûpin,

For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already as though I were present, [concerning] him that hath so done this deed,

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are assembled, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

5 ha miriem hah Pumapa Nikhuoa han a ratha sanminring ani theina rangin Soitan kuta a takpum minmang rangin nin pêk rang ani.

To deliver such one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

6 Nin inpâk rang hi dik mak! “Chol tômtên vâipôl bil pumpui amin thoizit ngâi,” ti nin riet nimak mo?

Your boasting [is] not good. Know ye not, that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

7 Chol koploi vâipôl bil nin nia, vâipôl tang atharzek nin ni theina rangin sietna chol muruo hah khâipai roi. Atûn, ei Kalkân Kût Khohoi thona rang Khrista, ei Kalkân Kût belrite hah, inbôlnân pêkin aom zoi sikin.

Cleanse out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

8 Masikin ei Kalkân khohoi mang ei ti u, Chol muruo puoloina le sietna kop vâipôl niloiin cholboi inthiengna le chongtak vâipôl leh mang ei ti u.

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.

9 Ke lekhamuthuon han inditnasaloi song mingei leh inlop loi rangin nangni ki tia.

I have written to you in this epistle, not to associate with persons guilty of lewdness:

10 Sonongngei inditnasaloi song ngei mini, tamrâival ngei mini, inrungei mini le mirmil biekngei mini inloppui tet no roi ki ti nimaka, ma anghan nisenla chu rammuol hih nin mâkving rang anâng rang ani.

Yet not altogether with lewd persons of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters: for then ye must needs go out of the world.

11 Ki ti tak chu tutu khom iempu intia, inditnasaloi song mini, tamrâival mini, mirmil biek mini, inngo song mini, ju inrûi mini, inru mini ala thopu chu inloppui no roi ti hih ani. Ma anga mingei lehan chu insungin nêk le sâk khom thopui no roi.

But now I have written to you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother is a lewd person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner: with such person no not to eat.

12 Keiman pêntienga mingei roi ke jêk rang nâng mak. Pathien'n jêk ngei atih. Hannirese nin lôm kâra mi chu nin jêk rang nimak mo? Pathien lekhabu'n, “Mi saloi hah nin pâl renga khâipai roi,” ati anghan.

For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do ye not judge them that are within?

But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
