< 1 Korinth 10 >

1 Ka lâibungngei le sarnungei, ei richibulngei Moses jûingei chunga neinun atung hah nin riet bang rangin ku nuom ani. Anrêngin sûm thupna nuoia an om rieia hoiriemin Tuipui Sen varâl an kâi ani.
Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 Sûm le tuipuia han Moses nûkjûingei nitheina rangin anrêngin baptis changin an om ani.
and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3 Anrêngin rathatienga bu munkhatin an nêka,
and all ate the same spiritual food;
4 munkhatin rathatienga tui an nêka. Anni ngei leh sepuipu rathatienga lungpui renga tui an nêka; ma lungpui hah Khrista ani.
and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.
5 Aniatachu an lâia mi tam uol chunga chu Pathien mulunghoi maka, ramchâra han an ruok ânzamnung ani.
However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 Atûn, ma ngei hah eini ranga minenna ani, neinun saloi ngei an ngâitui angin ei ngâitui loina rang le
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.
7 an lâia mi senkhat mirimilngei an biek angin ei biek loina rangin. Pathien lekhabu'n, “Mingei ha ruolhoia sâk rangin an insunga, hannirese junêk le indit hoiinhâinân an inlet nôk” ati angin.
Don’t be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”
8 An lâia mi senkhatin inditnasaloi an songa, sûnkhat sûngin mi isâng sômnikleithum an thi anghan eini chu inditna saloi song no uh.
Let’s not commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.
9 An lâia mi senkhat Pumapa an minsina, murûlin amuchuk that ngei ok anghan minsin no uh.
Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.
10 An lâia mi senkhat Pathien kôm an chiera, Thina Vântîrtonin a minmang ngei anghan chier no uh.
Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.
11 Ma an chunga neinun tung ngei murdi hah midangngei rangin minennangei ania, eini zora monga lêng ngei inningna ranga mangei ha miziek ani. (aiōn g165)
Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come. (aiōn g165)
12 Adettaka inding nin ni tiin nin mindonin chu nin inlet loina rangin indîn roi.
Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall.
13 Huongna nin tong ngei murdi hah mingei tuong ngâi tena ani. Pathien chu a chonginkhâma iem aom sikin nin phari loi rang dôr chu huongna nin tong rang phal no nih; huongna nin tuong zorân tuongdierna ranak nangni pêk a ta, male huongna jôkna lampui khom nangni sin pe atih.
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
14 Masikin, ku ruol moroitak ngei, mirimilngei biek hih mâk ta roi.
Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.
15 Arietvar mingei kôma misîr anghan nin kôm ki misîr ani; ku thurchi misîr hih mindon roi.
I speak as to wise men. Judge what I say.
16 Satvurna khuri chunga Pathien kôm râisânchong ei misîr ngâi: ei nêkin Khrista thisen hah ên sempuina ani. Male vâipôl ei khoi ngâi ha: ei sâk khom hih Khrista takpum ên sempuina ani.
The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Christ?
17 Vâipôl hih tâpkhat ani angin, eini hih mi tamtak ni khom ila, vâipôl tâpkhat renga ei rêngin ei chang pak sikin takpum inkhat ei ni.
Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.
18 Israel mingei hah en ta u, inbôlna neinunpêka om sâk ngei han mâichâma Pathien sin hah an insempui ani.
Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don’t those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?
19 Mirimil aninônchu a kôma sâk pêka om hah neinun kâmom ki tina mo?
What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?
20 Nimak! ki ti chu sonongngei mâichâmngeia inbôlna hah Pathien kôm niloiin ramkhoringei kôm kêng an pêk ani. Ramkhoringei leh lôminchang rangin chu nangni phal tet mu-ung.
But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons.
21 Pumapa khuri le ramkhoringei khuri nêk molop thei no tunui; Pumapa dosâng le ramkhoringei dosâng khom sâk molop thei no tunui.
You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.
22 Aninônchu Pumapa hah ei min nuor rang mo? Ama nêka rât uolin ên be mini?
Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
23 “Jâttin tho thei rangin phal ei ni,” an ti anghan. Adik, hannirese jâttin nâm sa let mak. “Jâttin tho thei rangin phal ei ni,” aniatachu jâttin hi satna ni let mak.
“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.
24 Tutu khom athei vaia satna rang vai rok loiin midang satna rang rok rese.
Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
25 Me bazara an zuor kai chu ite rekel loiin nin sielesarietna sikin sâk roi.
Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience,
26 Pathien lekhabu'n, “Pilchung le asûnga omngei murdi hih Pumapa ta ani,” ati sikin.
for “the earth is the Lord’s, and its fullness.”
27 Sonong inkhatin bunêk rang nangni a sielin se ta ungla, nangni a do kai chu rekel tet loiin nin sielesarietna sikin sâk roi.
But if one of those who don’t believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience.
28 Aniatachu tumakatin, “Hi sâk hih mirimil kôma pêksai ani,” tiin nangni a rilin chu nangni rilpu sik le ama sielesarietna sikin sâk no roi
But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” don’t eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For “the earth is the Lord’s, with all its fullness.”
29 ma hih nin sielesarietna ki ti nimaka, midangngei sielesarietna ki ti kêng. “Asa, hanchu,” senkhatin, “Iranga midang sielesarietna han ka zalena tentana mi sin pe mini? tiin an rekel ngâi ani.
Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other’s conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience?
30 Ka sâk chunga Pathien kôm râisânchong ki misîr sai piel ha irang mo mîn min la êro ngâi hi?”
If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for something I give thanks for?
31 Asa, ma anghan nin sin murdi, nin sâk le nin nêk murdi, Pathien roiinpuina rangin tho roi.
Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
32 Judangei, Jentailngei le Pathien koiindangngei ta ranga bâiinkhamna nin niloina rang lam takin om roi.
Give no occasion for stumbling, whether to Jews, to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;
33 Ko tho angtak hin tho roi; Keima rang satna rok loiin, sanminring an ni theina ranga mi murdi satna rang rokin, ki sinthona nâma mi murdi râiminsân rangin ki mindon ngâi ani.
even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.
