1 Amwe bhaholo ougolosu abhantu bhabhakwiziwe bhahumwanya, sebhaji uYesu, Utumwa nu punti ogosi uwahuposhele wetu.
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Yeshua;
2 Aligolosi hwa Ngolobhe wasalulilwe, nashiomisa aligolosu nantele na mwibhanza na mnyumba ya Ngolobhe.
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Mushe in his house.
3 Kwahuye uYesu abhaziwe huje heshima Gosi ashile oha uMusa, hwahuje ola wazenga enyumba ahwaziwa ahweneheshima ingonsi ashile enyumba eyoo.
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Mushe, just as he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 Kila nyumba ezengwa numntu fulani olawaizenga kilahatu yuNgolobhe.
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5 Lyoli uMusa aligolosu nashiutumwa mnyumba yoti iyaNgolobhe afumiya ulusemeshezyo ahusu gaiyanga ensiku zyezi hweza.
Mushe indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6 Oyo uKristi mwana wawenye enyumba ya Ngolobhe ante tilinyumba yakwe. Kashile tibhahatilile katibhadigane na daajeshiza adaajee.
but Meshikha is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope.
7 Hwahuje nashi Ompepo Ofinjile sayanga sanyunu nkamubhahovye izulyakwe,
Therefore, even as the Rukha d'Qudsha says, "Today if you will hear his voice,
8 Ugajeubheshe omwoyo gwaho abhebhome nashi Izilaeli sabhawombile embibhi nashipawajalibiwaga hwipoli.
do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9 Ogugwali mda gwa aisebhenyu pabhabhombile imbibhi sababu yandenje numda gwensiku zila alobaini wagalole amadala gane.
where your fathers tested me and challenged me, and saw my works for forty years.
10 Nane senasogwelwe ipapo eelaa. Naynjile, 'Watega wilawila mmoyo gabho nasabhamenye amadala gane.
Therefore I was displeased with this generation, and said, 'They always err in their heart, but they did not know my ways;'
11 Nashishila sanalapile hwikuni lyane sagawaihwinjila mlusobhezyo lwane.”
as I swore in my wrath, 'They will not enter into my rest.'"
12 Mwenyaje bhaholo usijeugabha numwoyo uhwinu kutoposhele umowenyu, umwoyo gwegwa ibhala hutali nane ne Ngolobhe wali nubhomi.
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13 Embalabha mkombposanye wilawila kila mntu muwamwabho ilikilalisiku lwamkwizi wa lelo mzilihaje huje uwemwetu omo ashibhe bhome hwilenga elye mbimbi.
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called "today;" lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 Hwahuje ate tilibhana vakristi katibhakhatane tenti nenguvu afumile huwadilo hadi hu mwisho.
For we have become partakers of Meshikha, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:
15 Hweli enjajile sanyunu nkamtejezwe izulyane mganje bhesheamoyo genyu mabhome, nashi abha Izilaeli sabhabhombile embibhi.
while it is said, "Today if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion."
16 Bhananu bhamwovyeze Ongolobhe nahulesha sagabhali bhabhala uMusa abhalogozyaga afume hu Misri?
For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, did not all those who came out of Egypt by Mushe?
17 Na bhananu Ongolobhe abhavitililwe humaha arobaini? Sewali pandwemo nabhala bhabhabhombile embibhi bhala amabele gabho gafwiye nagone hula hujangwani?
With whom was he displeased forty years? Was not it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 Bhananu abhalapie Ongolobhe hujesaga bheze hunjile muwiza wakwe nkashile sebhabhala wasagawaposheye?
To whom did he swear that they would not enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19 Tilola hye zagabhazizye awinjile muwiza wakwe sagawaposheye.
We see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
