Abhaefeso 4
1 Antele nkashile yagaliliwe hwa jili ya Gosi, embalabhe mjende shinzashinza na uwite ambao Ungolobhe abhakwizizwe.
I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called;
2 Mukhale esha wishindishe eshi Gosi no hogowe no ujimbi. Mwejelanaje esha ganane.
with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love,
3 Umbaji ajimbizwe na bheshe umoja uwe Roho katieshefungo eshe lyeteho.
earnestly endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 Huli ubele gume ne Roho emo neshe shamli antele mwali mkwiziwe eshi uhakika upambamle umo uwewite wenyu.
There is one body and one Spirit, even as you have been called in one hope of your calling;
5 Ugosi aliumo ulyeteho lumo, ulwuzwo lumo. Ungolobhe omo
one Lord, one faith, one immersion;
6 na uBaba wabhonti. Umwahale we mambo gonti na gonti gali mhati yakwe.
one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in you all.
7 Shilo muntu apewewe eshipawa afwatane neshipimo esha pawa esha Kristi.
But grace has been given to each one of us, according to the measure of the gift of the Christ.
8 Neshe nsimbo shaziyanga: “Alushile amwanya eshi alogozwezwe abhe pinywe uwe utumwa. Afumizi evipawa wa bhantu.”
For which reason, the scripture says: When he ascended on high, he led captive a multitude of captives, and gave gifts to men.
9 Yenu emana ya, “Alushe,” isipokuwa ahishile epande zwonti ezwa pasi pa dunia?
But this―He ascended―what does it mean, but that he also descended into the lower earthly regions?
10 Umwahule ahishile yoyola umuntu ambaye nantele alushile patali juu ye mwanya zwonti. Abhombile esho ili abhehwakwe uwe kati evintu vyonti.
He that descended is also he that ascended high above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
11 Kristi afumizwe evipawa kama neshe asontizi akuwa abhanjilisti, adimi, amwalimwa.
And he himself gave some to be apostles, and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 Abhombile eshe abhawezeshe abhalyeteho ili embombo eyuzeje ubele ugwa Kristi.
for the complete instruction of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of the Christ,
13 Abhomba eshi hadi ate tenti tifishile undwemo uwe lyeteho na amaalifa aga mwana wakwe Ungolobhe. Abhombile esho hadi tiwezwe akhome neshe bhala bhabhafishie ekimo kamili esha Kristi.
till we all come to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to a measure of stature that fully develops the Christ;
14 Ene antele tigaje bhebhana tigaje ruswe ruswe ohu no hwo ili tigaje ahwegwe na kila aina eye hala elyefundisho, age hila ezwa bhantu hu njelenje uwa khopehanye wautejile.
that we might no longer be children, tossed and carried about by every wind of teaching, through the artifice of men, through craftiness used by them for the deliberate planning of deceit;
15 Eshi tiyanje elyoli eye lugano nakule zayidi hwidala lyonti mhati yakwe itwe yo Kristi.
but speaking truthfully in love, we might grow up in all things, into him who is the head, even the Christ,
16 Kristi abhonganisizwe pandwemo ubele ugwa bhoziwa guunganisiwe ubele gwonti gukwe nazenjeshe gwogwo hulugano.
from whom the whole body, compactly fitted together, and united by every helping joint, according to the energy in the measure of each part, makes increase of the body, for the building up of itself in love.
17 Antale eyanga eli, embalabha hwa Gosi: Mgaje ajende antele neshe abhantu abhamataifa wabhajenda muubatiuli uwenjele zwao.
This I say, therefore, and appeal to you solemnly in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the other Gentiles walk, in the error of their minds,
18 Bhaponyizwe enkisi museo zwao bhatagwilwe afume huwomi uwa Ngolobhe hulema wauli mhati yao kwa sabu ya ukhome uwe moyo gao.
darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;
19 Sebha hwiyovwa esoni bhahwikabizizwe bhebho huntavu humatendo gao age ntavu, kila aina ya uwimi.
who, being past feeling, have given themselves up to licentiousness, that they may work all manner of uncleanness with greediness.
20 Nantele eshi seshasho shamwanyiye ahusu Kristi.
But you have not so learned the Christ,
21 Elola antele mwovzwe ahusu umwahale elola aje mwali mmanyiziwa hwamwahale neshe elyoli yilimuhati ya Yesu.
if, indeed, you have heard of him, and been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 Lazima mwaule amambo gonti gagajendelela ne njendelelo zweyu ezwe mwaha, uuntu uwemwaha uuntu uwemwaha waubhola afwate ne tamaa ezwe hopelo.
that, as to your former life, you put off the old man, which is corrupt, according to its deceitful desires,
23 Auli untu wenyu uwemwaha ili nkaombwe shipya huroho eye njele zwenyu.
and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24 Bhombi eshe muwezwalane no Ngolobhe. Ubhombwelwe hehaki eye uzelu uwe lyoli.
and put on the new man, which, according to the will of God, is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Eshi bheshi patali ukhopelaji. “Yangaji elyoli, shila muntu no jirani wakwe,” afwanaje tili bhaputi aje shila munti hwa wamwao.
For which reason, putting away lying, speak, every one, truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.
26 Mbhaje ne nguru, lelo mgayejeswe sumlinazwe nguru zwenyu.
Be angry, and yet do not sin: let not the sun go down on your wrath,
27 Mganje hupele usetano moyo.
nor give place to the devil.
28 Yeyonti yahwibha lazima gajewibhe antele. Badala yakwe lazima abhombe embombo. Abhombe ambombo efaida humakhono gakwe ili awezwe humwavwe umuntu yalineshida.
Let him that steals, steal no more: but rather let labor, working with his hands that which is good, that he may have something to give to him that has need.
29 Ekauli embibhi egaje afume mumalomo genyu. Badala yakwe enongwa lazima gafume mumalomu genyu abhapele efaida bhala bhabhahavwa.
Let no impure speech come out of your mouth, but whatever is good for needful edification, that it may give grace to the hearers:
30 Nantele mgaje hunkungubhazwe Roho ufije uwa Ngolobhe hwa mwahale mubhehwelye muwaule hunsiku eye waule.
and grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, with which you have been sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Lazima mubheshe hutali ukhali wonti, nelyoyo ne nkuni ibho na endigo pandwemo na shila namna eye mbibhi bhaji bhinza mwemwe hwa mwemwe.
Let all bitterness and anger and wrath and clamor and impious speaking be put away from you, with all malice:
32 Mubhanje ne huruma msajilana je mwemwe hwa mwemwe, neshe shila Ungolobhe ashilile Kristi shabha sajiye amwe.
and be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.
