1 U Paulo, utumwe wa Kristi Yesu whagane no Ngolobhe, whabhabhehwelwe kwajili ya Ngolobhe bhabhaleho hu Efeso na bhali golosi mwa Yesu Kristi.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus and to the faithful in Christ Jesus,
2 Ibule naibhe humwenyu jwinza yifuma hwa Ngolobhe u Baba wetu na ugosi Yesu Kristi.
grace to you and peace from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Ngolobhe na Baba wa Gosi wetu Yesu Kristi alumbelelwe. Yeyo watisaile katika insayo zyamumoyo, katika apantu pahumwanya mhati mwaKristi.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.
4 Shahusele umbwe ense, Ungolobhe atisaluye ate tete wheteha katika Kristi. Atisaluye ate ili tiwezye abhe tagolosu tasagatilalamishiwa whilongelela lyakwe.
Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blemish in his sight.
5 Katika ulugano Ungolobhe atisaluye hwandilo whahuteje hansi abhanabhakwe whidala lya Yesu Kristi. Awombile ishi whisababu aganilwe awombe shila shanyonyilwe.
For in his love he predestined us (such was the good pleasure of his will) to adoption for himself as sons through Jesus Christ,
6 Zizifumila mkwakwe huje Ungolobhe awhinuliwa whiweneyi tuntumu ebhi shosho atishiliye wene whidala lya lugano wakwe.
and to the praise of his glorious grace which he graciously bestowed upon us in the Beloved.
7 Alengane nu ganwe wakwe, tilinuwaushe ashilile mwidanda lyake, ukhowoshe wimbibhi. Tilinayo eli husababu utabhazivibule yakwe.
It is in him we have deliverance, the forgiveness of our trespasses, through his blood;
8 Awombe wene ene abhe nyinji kwasababu yetu huhekima ni njele.
so abundantly did he lavish upon us the riches of his grace in all wisdom and understanding,
9 Ungolobhe awombile ieleweshe humwetu ela ilyoli yiyobhele humipango, alingane ni hamu yayaloleshe mhati ya Kristi.
when he made known to us, I say, that good pleasure which he purposed in himself
10 Umda gwimida gwasagakuli na mapongosoga kamilisheha mipango gakwe, Ungolobhe ayivibheha peka kila shintu shahumwanya na shaihumwanya yense muhati ya Kilisti.
for the government of the fulness of the ages, that all things in heaven and earth are alike should be gathered up in Christ, as Head.
11 Mwa Kristi tali tisalulilwe na hutikusudile hata kabla yimunda. Ene yali yatokeene nu mpango wawomba ivintu vyonti whikweli lwimagano gakwe.
It is he in whom we Jews also have our inheritance, having been chosen beforehand according to the purpose of Him who executes all things according to the counsel of his will,
12 Ungolobhe awombile osho ili tiwezye abhe na huyilole nutuntumusi wakwe. Talibhawhande abhe nuda ndamazu muhati ya Yesu.
that we who first hoped in Christ should be for the praise of his glory.
13 Yali whida lya Yesu aje mwahe vwezye iizu lilyoli iizu lilokole wenyu whidala lya Yesu. Yali whamwene aje mweteshe na bheshe we umhuji gwa pepo ufinjilwe watawe umhusi gwa pepo ufinjilwe watasobhezelwe.
And in him, because you listened to the proclamation of the truth, the evangel of your salvation, and trusted it, you Gentiles too were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
14 Upepo ndo dhamana yiupyano lwetu hadi atabhale lwalwaipatihana. Ene yahuilole nutuntumusu wakwe.
who for the praise of his glory is the pledge of our common heritage, unto the complete redemption of his purchased property.
15 Alengane neli, afume umuda gwa nahevwesye aje ulweteho lwenyu muhati mwagosi u Yesu na ahusu iagano lwenyu whabhala wonti bhategwilwe kwajili yakwe.
For this reason I also, from the time when I heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which prevails among you, and your love to all the saints,
16 Sigindeshile ahunsalifwe Ungolobhe kwaajili iyenyu na hubhatashe mu mputo
do not cease to praise God for you, whenever I mention you in my prayers.
17 Ilabha aje Ungolobhe wa Gosi uwetu U Yesu Kristi, ubabu wituntumusu, wituntumubu, aibhapela umoyo gwinjele, amakwinkule givfahamu wakwe.
I am praying that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father most glorious, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation, through an intimate knowledge of himself;
18 Ilabha aje amaso genyu gahumoyo gabhewhe ulukhozyo. Ohame amanye uwhi udanda mazu wakwiziwe whenyu, ilabha aje mumanye utabhazo wituntumu wapyane whakwe bhalipeka na bhala bhabhabhesheshewelwe kwaajili yakwe.
and that the eyes of your heart may be flooded with light so that you may understand what is the hope of his calling, what the wealth of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 Ilabha aje umanye ugosi uuzidile engovu yakwe mhati yetu yatiheleha. Ou ugosi ufuma na nawombe imbombo mongoro zyakwe.
and what the surpassing greatness of his might in us who believe, as seen in the energy of that resistless might
20 Ene ngovo yayawombile imbombo muhati ya Kristi wakati Ongolobhe lwazyosezye afume whazimu na hukhazye munyobhe yakwe yahundelo paapli pamwanya.
which he exercised in raising Christ from the dead, and in seating him at his right hand in the heavenly heights,
21 Akhazizye UKristi pamwanya uhutali mugosi, imamulaka, ongovo, pakhale, na kila litawa lyaitawha. Akhazizye U Yesu sagatu hwakati ou hata humuda gogowewhenzu. (aiōn g165)
far above all hierarchies and authorities and powers and dominions and every name that is named, not only in this age but in that which is to come. (aiōn g165)
22 Ungolobhe avitabhye ivintu vyonti pansi yimanama ga Kristi. Amombile umwene abhe litwe pamwanya yivintu katika ishibhanza.
God has put all things under Christ’s feet, and placed him as Head over all in the church,
23 Shibhanza lilibele gwakwe, ugolosu lwakwe lolo lumenyu ivintu vyonti mumadala gonti.
which is his body, the fulness of Him who fills the universe.
