< Imbombo zya Atume 20 >
1 Nazyamaliha efujo zila uPaulo wabhakwizya amanyili wabhazinzya amoyo wabhalaga wabhala hu Makedonia.
Now after the uproar had ended, Paul summoned the disciples, took leave of them, and set out for Macedonia.
2 Nawashila amikoa ego abhazinzya amoyo amanyili wabhala hu Yunani.
When he had gone through those parts and encouraged them with many words, he came into Greece.
3 Pawakhala amezi gatatu zyahapangwa embibhi na Wayahudi napalamilaga ashuule hwidala lya muminzi, abhale hu Shamu, sigawabhala uhwo washilila hu Makedonia.
When he had stayed three months, as he was about to set sail for Syria, the Jews made a plot against him, so he decided to return through Macedonia.
4 Bhashulile nabho paka hu Asia bhahali bha Sopatro, mwana wa Pirho yafumile hu Berea; Aristariko nu Sekundo, bhonti bhafumile hwa akristi bha hu Thesalonike; Gayo wa hu Derbe; u Timotheo; Tikiko nu Trofimo bhafumile hu Asia.
Now Sopater of Berea, Aristarchus and Secundus of the Thessalonians, Gaius of Derbe, Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia were going to accompany him as far as Asia;
5 Lelo abhantu ebha bhatagaliye bhatihulaga hula hu Troa.
so having gone on ahead, these men were waiting for us in Troas.
6 Hwidala ilya minzi afume hu Filipi nazyashila ensiku ezye mabumunda gasi gabhaponyizye ehamila isiku ilya sanu tafiha hu Troa. Taakhiye uhwo ensiku saba.
But it was after the Days of Unleavened Bread that we sailed from Philippi, and in five days we joined them at Troas, where we stayed seven days.
7 Isiku ila muhungu patabhuungine alye amabumunda, u Paulo alumbiliye na Waamini. Alikuwa akipanga kuondoka kesho yake, hivyo akaendelea kuongea tee paka nu siku uwapahati.
Now on the first day of the week, the disciples being assembled to break bread, Paul started addressing them, and because he intended to leave the next day he continued his message until midnight.
8 Zyahali ihozyo zinyinji hwatakhiye hwigulu.
There were many lamps in the upper room where we were assembled.
9 U kijana umo itawa lyakwe yu Utiko, akhiitwe nu tulo akhiiye ambali pidilisha pamande walagala pansi afume igulu ilya tatu na bhabhala hutole bhega afwiye.
Well a certain young man named Eutychus sat in a window and was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul kept on talking; when he was overcome by the sleep he fell down from the third story and was picked up dead.
10 Lelo uPaulo wope wiha pansi, wa hwigolosya puula ufwe wabhabhuula waga musahiile umwoyo unu mwomi.”
So Paul went down, threw himself on him and embracing him said, “Do not be distressed, because his life is in him!”
11 Wazubha hwigulu antele wamensula ibumunda walya nawayanga nabho paka ninzansha wasogola.
Then he went back up and broke bread, ate, and kept on speaking until daybreak—that is how he left!
12 Bhaleta ukijana ula shamwomi bhasungwa tee.
(On their part, they led the boy away alive, and were greatly comforted.)
13 Ate tatagaalila ne meli tabhala hu Aso, tapanjile humweje uPaulo, umwene ajendile hunsi inyoomu shapanjile umwene.
As for us, we went to the ship and set sail for Assos, intending to take Paul on board there—so it had been arranged, he himself intending to go on foot.
14 Natatangana nawo Aso, tapashila mumeli tabhala nawo hu Mitilene.
When he met us at Assos we took him aboard and went on to Mityline.
15 Ate tasogola afume uhwo isiku ilya bhili tafiha hu kisiwa she Kio. Isiku ilyamwabho tafiha hu kisiwa she Samo, shandao lwakwe tafiha hu Mileto.
Sailing from there, the next day we arrived opposite Chios, and the day after we crossed over to Samos and stopped in Trogylium; the following day we came to Miletus.
16 U Paulo ahamuya ashuulile ashilile hu Efeso, siga ahanzaga atumile umuda gwagwonti uhwo, ali nu piliganu uwabhale hu Yerusalemu hu shikulukulu she Pentekoste.
(Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, to avoid being detained in Asia, because he was hurrying to be in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost, if he possibly could.)
17 Afume hu Mileto atumile abhantu hu Efeso nabhakwizye azee bhi kanisa.
From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and summoned the elders of the congregation.
18 Nabhafiha wabhabhuula huje mwe mumenye ahwande pihandiye ulwahwande ahwinze ipa pa Asia shanahali hulimwe ensiku zyonti.
So when they had come to him he said to them: “You yourselves know, from the first day that I arrived in Asia, how I lived the whole time I was with you,
19 Imbombile imbombo ya Ngulubhi huunyenyekevu wonti na hwiyisye na humansozi na malabha gaganajile hwa Yahudi.
serving the Lord with all humility, and with many tears and trials, the ones that happened to me by the plots of the Jews;
20 Mumenye shanali mwigushe hulimwe, ihabhabhuulaga shila hantu, sigana bhafishile nahamo najendaga shila nyumba abhamanyizye.
how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house,
21 Mumenye shanabhadamilaga Ayahudi na Yunani, aje bhalambe na humwitishe Ungulubhi bhabhe nu lwitiho hwa Yesu Kilisti.
solemnly proclaiming to both Jews and Greeks the repentance toward God and the faith into our Lord Jesus.
22 Enyii eshi ane shehumweteha Umpepo Ufinjile aje embale hu Yerusalemu nantele sigaaenzimenye zyazibhanaje uhwo,
Now then, I am going to Jerusalem bound in my spirit, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,
23 pipo Umpepo Ufinjile ambuula shila muji gwimbala huje empengo zihuguula, na malabha.
except that the Holy Spirit keeps warning me in every city, saying that fetters and afflictions are just waiting for me.
24 Lelo ane siga insibiliye amaisha gane huje gali ne thamani ani ihwanza aje imale imbombo yakwe sheshinza yamahejeliya huwa mwene uYesu Kilisti naiyanje ineema ya Ngulubhi.
However none of this moves me, nor do I regard my life as valuable to myself, just so that I may complete my course with joy, even the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to solemnly proclaim the Good News of the grace of God.
25 Eshi, enyaa, bhaala bhonti, bhanabha bhuulile izu lya Ngulubhi sigamwaindola amaso gane nantele.
“Furthermore, I know that none of you among whom I have gone about proclaiming the Kingdom of God will ever see my face again.
26 Embabhuula eshi huje sigana iongwa hushauli yenyu.
Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all;
27 Ane sigahwizu wiliye abhabhuule izu lya Ngulubhi.
because I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.
28 Eshi mubhanje maso mubhene hwa mubhene nalila ipuga Ungulubhi lya bhapiiye aje mulidimaje, mulyenyaje ipuga lya Yesu lyalikalile hwidanda lyake yuyo.
So take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has placed you as overseers, to shepherd the congregation of the Lord and God which He purchased with His own blood.
29 Iminye huje ane nanasogola enkanyaga zyayinza sigazyaibhasajila.
Because I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Iminye huje bhamo mulimwe mwomu bhaibha bhabhaibhatezya aje mubhalondozyoje abhene.
Yes, men will rise up from among you yourselves, speaking distorted things, to draw away the disciples after them.
31 mubhe maso. Ane siganaleshile abhamanyizye shila muntu nabhamanyizizye usiku na pasanya.
Therefore be alert, remembering that during three years, night and day, I never stopped admonishing each one, with tears.
32 Eshi ane embabhiha hwa Ngulubhi na hwizu elyelusajilo lwakwe lyalibhajiye abhzenje nabhapele ugaali nabhabhishe bhafinje hwa Ngulubhi.
“And so now, brothers, I entrust you to God and to the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all those who have been sanctified.
33 Siga nazilishe ihela, edhahabu na menda.
I have not coveted anyone's silver or gold or clothing.
34 Mumenye huje amakhono gane gampeliile vyanahanzaga nabhombaga imbombo nabhavwe abhanji bhabhali pamo nanee.
You yourselves know that these hands have supplied my own needs, and of those who were with me.
35 Nabhamanyizizye abhombe imbombo nabhavwe bhasigabhajiye abhombe embombo, ne manyizyo zya Yesu izyaje shinza afumye ashile aposhele.”
In every way I showed you that working hard like this it is necessary to help the weak, and to remember the word of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
36 Nawayanga nabho wafugamila amafugamo uuta nabho.
When he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.
37 Bhonti bhalila bhagwila uPaulo munsingo bhabusu.
Then they all wept freely, and falling on Paul's neck kept kissing him,
38 Bhazugumiye tee payanjile huje siga mwaindo nantele amaso gane, bhalolela mumeli.
sorrowing most of all because of the word that he had spoken, that they would see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.
