< 2 Abhakorintho 1 >

1 U Paulo, utumwe wa Yesu hlugano lwa Ngulubhi, nu Timotheo uholo witu, hwubhibhanza isha hu Korintho, na hwa Kristu bhonti bhabhali humukoa gwanti gwa hu Akaya.
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy the brother, to the church of God which is in Corinth, with all the holy who are in all Achaia:
2 Ulusajilo no lusehelo lwalufuma hwa Ngulubhi Yesu Kristu lubhe namwe.
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Fathers and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Alumbwe Ungulubhe wa Gosi witu uYesu Kristu, umwene Ngulubhi welusajilo nantele Ngulubhi we luzinzyo lwoti.
Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4 Ungulubhi atizinzya ate humalabha getu, aje nate tibhazinyaje bhabhali mumalabhatibhazinzyaje nabhanja huluzinzyo lwatizinzizye ate Ungulubhi.
who comforteth us in all our distress, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any distress by the comfort wherewith we are ourselves comforted by God;
5 Neshi amalabhi ga Kristu shagahwonjelela husababu yetu nu luzinzyo luhwonjelela hulite ashilile hwa Yesu Kristu.
for as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so through Christ doth our comfort also overflow.
6 Lelo nkatitamansiwa, titamansiwa hunongwa ye luzinzyo lwenyu nu wokovu wenyu, nkashele tuzinziwa, tizinziwa, tizinziwa hunongwa yeluzinzyo lwenyu uluzinzyo lwenyu lubhomba embombo pamuhweteshela amalabha galabaga uYesu namuvulila neshi patuvumilila ate.
And whether we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation, which showeth its power in enabling you to bear patiently the same sufferings which we also endure; and our hope is steadfast in your behalf; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort and salvation,
7 Nu ujasili wetu hulimwe ulishinza, tumenye aje namwahitishie amalabhi, muhweteshela nuluzinzyo.
knowing that as ye are sharers in the sufferings, so also ye will be sharers in the comfort.
8 Sagatuhwanza aje mubhe bhalema, bhaholo, gatalinago hu Asia. Tabhonelwe pakasetamenye huje taibhabhomi nantele.
For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our distress which came upon us in Asia, that it was exceedingly heavy upon us beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life;
9 Twali nulongwe ulwafwe eli lyatibheshele huje tusahwisubhile tetee, aje tisubhilaje Ungulubhi yazyusya nabhafwe.
yea, we ourselves had within ourselves the sentence of death, that we might not trust in ourselves, but in God who raiseth the dead;
10 Atokoye nenfwa, abhatokole nantele, tibheshele uujasiri wetu aje abhatokole nantele.
who delivered us from such peril of death, and is delivering; in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us,
11 Abhabhombe eshi neshi amwe namutaavwa humputo zyenyu abhinji bhaayenza asalifye huniaba yetu hunongwa ye upendelelo lwe lusajilo humputo zyenyu.
you also unitedly helping us by prayer, so that for this blessing bestowed on us by means of many, thanks may be given by many on your behalf.
12 Tihwisunvya eli, oushuha wiza amili yetu uwinza we mwoyo hwa Ngulubhi aje tajendeleye pansi, namwe siyo ne hekima ya munsi. Tumefanya hivi hasa na ninyi, na sio katika hekima ya ulimwengu, lelo hu neema ya Ngulubhi.
For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and the sincerity which is of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.
13 Setibhasimbila zyasigamuzibajiye abhazye awe ahwelewe. Endinoujasiri
For we write no other things to you, than what ye read or even acknowledge. And I trust ye will acknowledge even to the end,
14 kwamba kwa sehemu mutelewe nantele endinuujasiri aji isiku elya Yesu Ugosi wetu, taibha sababu yenyu hunongwa ye mabado genyu, neshi shamwaibha hulite.
as also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your glorying, as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
15 Nali noujasiri aje nahanzaga ahwenze hulimwe nasoti aje nkamwejelele efaida eyahwenze awe hulimwe ulwabhili.
And in this confidence it was my purpose to come to you before, that ye might receive a second benefit;
16 Napanjile ahwenze nanabhalaga hu Makedonia, ata nanawelaga napanjile ahwinze, nante amwe antume ane nabhalaga hu Uyahudi.
and to go by way of you into Macedonia, and from Macedonia to come again to you, and by you to be forwarded on my way to Judaea.
17 Nanasibhaga eshi, je, nalunzanyaga humwoyo? Je napangashibi nadamu huje eje “Ena, ena” ndadi, ndadi huwakati umo?
Having, then, this purpose, did I act with levity? Or in my purposes do I resolve according to the flesh, that with me there should be now yea, yea, and now nay, nay?
18 Lelo Ungulubhi shamwinza, setiyanga aja, “Ndadi” Awe “Ewa.”
But as God is faithful, our word to you is not yea and nay.
19 Abhe umwana wa Ngulubhi uYesu Kristu, u Silwano, nu Timotheo nanee tabhatangazizizye huje hwamwene tiyiga “Ena” au “Ndadi” hwa mwene tiyiga “Ena.”
For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us, by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not found yea and nay, but in him hath been found yea.
20 Maana ululagano lwa Ngulubhi huje “Ena” humambo gonti, hwa mwene zyonti huje “Ena” mwamwenye esho ashilile hwa mwene tiiga “Amina” hutuntumu wa Ngulubhi.
For as to all the promises of God, in him is yea, and in him amen, to the glory of God through us.
21 Yu Ngulubhi yatihakikisyi ati namwe mwa Yesu aje atitumile.
Now he who maketh us with you steadfast in Christ, and anointed us, is God;
22 Abeshele eshimanyilo (omuhuru) hulite nantele atipiye no Mpepo wakwe mumoyo getu aje shibhe shilongolo shaitipela pamande.
he who also sealed us, and gave the Spirit as a pledge in our hearts.
23 Ehubhuzya Ungulubhi ambule zyasigana henzeye hu Koritho, aje ensabhabidushile amwe.
But I call upon God as a witness against my soul, that it was to spare you that I came no more to Corinth;
24 Eli siyo huje tibhonesya sa aluhwanziwa ulweteshelo lwetu aje shalubhe, tibhombha pandwemo namwe hunongwa.
not that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy. For in respect to faith ye stand firm.
