< 1 Abhakorintho 13 >
1 Tije huje iyanga ikabila zya bhantu ni zya malaika. Nkushele sindi ni nulugano indi shaba yililila nuupatu wewavuma.
If in the tongues of men I shall speak and of angels, love however not may have, I have become a brass sounding or a cymbal clanging.
2 Na huje indi ni kalama iyi unabii nu ummanye uwilyoli zyeziyifishile na maarifa aje indi nu lwitiho ulwasamye amagamba. Lelo huje nkesindi nu lugano na hamo ahantu.
And if I shall have prophecy and understand the mysteries all and all the knowledge, And if I shall have all the faith so as mountains to remove, love however not may have, no [thing] I am.
3 Na tije huje imunya ivintu vya ni na hubhalisye apina na huje injifumya umbili gwani aje impye numwoto. Nkushe sindi nu lugano nahamo ahantu.
Even if Even if I shall give away all the possessions of mine, And if I shall deliver up the body of mine that (I may boast, *N(K)(o)*) love however not may have, no [thing] I am profited.
4 Ulugano bhujimba bhufadhili. Ulugano sebhuyitufya au huyilole. Sebhuli ni ngosi
Love is patient, is kind, love not is envious, love not is boastful, not is puffed up,
5 au uwandilizi. Sebhuhwanza amambo gakwe, sebhulola ukhali haraka, wala sebhubhazya amabhibhi.
not acts unbecomingly, not seeks the [things] of its own, not is easily provoked, not it keeps account of wrongs,
6 Sebhusha huwalangani. Badala yakwe, bhusha ni lyoli.
not delights at unrighteousness, rejoices however in the truth,
7 Ulugano lujimbila amambo gonti luhwitiha amambo gonti, bhuli nu dandamazu humambo gonti.
All things it bears, all things believes, all things hopes, all things endures.
8 Ulugano selumaliha. Nkushe huli na akuwa, bhanzashile. Nkushele huli iluga zinzashile. Nkushele huli na maarifa ganzashile.
Love never (falls. *N(k)O*) if however [there are] prophesies, they will be abated; if tongues, they will cease; if knowledge it will be abated.
9 Pipo timinye aje husehemu tibhomba ukuwa.
In part (for *NK(o)*) we know and in part we prophesy;
10 Lakini aje ila yiliho sikamilishe ila yesili kamili yayishila.
when however may come the perfect, (then *K*) the in part will be done away.
11 Le nahali mwana, nahayanjile ndeshe umwana, nahasibhililaga ndeshe umwana, nahamulaga ndeshe umwana. Nahamulaga ndeshe umwana, Leunahabha gosi, nahabhishile apatali amambo gishana.
When I was a child, I was speaking like a child, I was thinking like a child, I was reasoning like a child; when (now *k*) I became a man, I have done away with the [things] of the child.
12 Pipo isalizi tilola ndeshe hwigarasi ndeshe amaso huhisi, lakhini isiku lila tahayilolana humaso maso. Ishi imanya huje kwa sehemu, lakhini uwakati bhula nahayimanya hani aje shimanyihana haani.
We see for presently through a glass in obscurity, then however face to face; presently I know in part, then however I will know fully even as also I have been fully known.
13 Ishi amambo iga gatatu gadumu ulwitiho usubhizyo lyelihwinza nuu olugano. Lakini igosi hani ulugano.
Now however abide faith, hope, love, three these; [the] greatest however of these [is] love.
