Псалтирь 82

1 Псалом Асафа. Бог стал в сонме богов; среди богов произнес суд:

A psalm of Asaph. God has taken his stand in the divine assembly: in the midst of the gods he holds judgment.

2 доколе будете вы судить неправедно и оказывать лицеприятие нечестивым?

“How long will you crookedly judge, and favor the wicked? (Selah)

3 Давайте суд бедному и сироте; угнетенному и нищему оказывайте справедливость;

Do right by the weak and the orphan, acquit the innocent poor.

4 избавляйте бедного и нищего; исторгайте его из руки нечестивых.

Rescue the weak and the needy, save them from the hand of the wicked.

5 Не знают, не разумеют, во тьме ходят; все основания земли колеблются.

“They have neither knowledge nor insight, in darkness they walk to and fro, while the earth’s foundations totter.

6 Я сказал: вы - боги, и сыны Всевышнего - все вы;

It was I who appointed you gods, children of the Most High all of you.

7 но вы умрете, как человеки, и падете, как всякий из князей.

Yet like mortals you will surely die, you will fall like any prince.”

8 Восстань, Боже, суди землю, ибо Ты наследуешь все народы.

Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all nations are yours by inheritance.
