Псалтирь 59
1 Начальнику хора. Не погуби. Писание Давида, когда Саул послал стеречь дом его, чтобы умертвить его. Избавь меня от врагов моих, Боже мой! защити меня от восстающих на меня;
For the end. Destroy not: by David for a memorial, when Saul sent, and watched his house to kill him. Deliver me from mine enemies, O God; and ransom me from those that rise up against me.
2 избавь меня от делающих беззаконие; спаси от кровожадных,
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
3 ибо вот, они подстерегают душу мою; собираются на меня сильные не за преступление мое и не за грех мой, Господи;
For, behold, they have hunted after my soul; violent men have set upon me: neither [is it] my iniquity, nor my sin, O Lord.
4 без вины моей сбегаются и вооружаются; подвигнись на помощь мне и воззри.
Without iniquity I ran and directed [my course aright]: awake to help me, and behold.
5 Ты, Господи, Боже сил, Боже Израилев, восстань посетить все народы, не пощади ни одного из нечестивых беззаконников:
And thou, Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, draw nigh to visit all the heathen; pity not any that work iniquity. (Pause)
6 вечером возвращаются они, воют, как псы, и ходят вокруг города;
They shall return at evening, and hunger like a dog, and go round about the city.
7 вот они изрыгают хулу языком своим; в устах их мечи: “ибо”, думают они, “кто слышит?”
Behold, they shall utter a voice with their mouth, and a sword is in their lips; for who, [say they], has heard?
8 Но Ты, Господи, посмеешься над ними; Ты посрамишь все народы.
But thou, Lord, wilt laugh them to scorn; thou wilt utterly set at nought all the heathen.
9 Сила - у них, но я к Тебе прибегаю, ибо Бог - заступник мой.
will keep my strength, [looking] to thee; for thou, O God, art my helper.
10 Бой мой, милующий меня, предварит меня; Бог даст мне смотреть на врагов моих.
[As for] my God, his mercy shall go before me: my God will shew me [vengeance] on mine enemies.
11 Не умерщвляй их, чтобы не забыл народ мой; расточи их силою Твоею и низложи их, Господи, защитник наш.
Slay them not, lest they forget thy law; scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord, my defender.
12 Слово языка их есть грех уст их, да уловятся они в гордости своей за клятву и ложь, которую произносят.
[For] the sin of their mouth, [and] the word of their lips, let them be even taken in their pride.
13 Расточи их во гневе, расточи, чтобы их не было; и да познают, что Бог владычествует над Иаковом до пределов земли.
And for [their] cursing and falsehood shall utter destruction be denounced: [they shall fall] by the wrath of utter destruction, and shall not be; so shall they know that the God of Jacob is Lord of the ends of the earth. (Pause)
14 Пусть возвращаются вечером, воют, как псы, и ходят вокруг города;
They shall return at evening, and be hungry as a dog, and go round about the city.
15 пусть бродят, чтобы найти пищу, и несытые проводят ночи.
They shall be scattered hither and thither for meat; and if they be not satisfied, they shall even murmur.
16 А я буду воспевать силу Твою и с раннего утра провозглашать милость Твою, ибо Ты был мне защитою и убежищем в день бедствия моего.
But I will sing to thy strength, and in the morning will I exult [in] thy mercy; for thou hast been my supporter, and my refuge in the day of mine affliction.
17 Сила моя! Тебя буду воспевать я, ибо Бог - заступник мой, Бог мой, милующий меня.
[Thou art] my helper; to thee, my God, will I sing; thou art my supporter, O my God, [and] my mercy.
