Псалтирь 52
1 Начальнику хора. Учение Давида, после того, как приходил Доик Идумеянин и донес Саулу и сказал ему, что Давид пришел в дом Ахимелеха. Что хвалишься злодейством, сильный? милость Божия всегда со мною;
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of Instruction, of David. When Doeg the Edomite went, and told Saul; and said to him, —David, hath entered the house of Ahimelech. Why dost thou boast thyself of wickedness, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of GOD, [lasteth] all the day.
2 гибель вымышляет язык твой; как изощренная бритва, он у тебя, коварный!
Engulfing ruin, doth thy tongue devise, Like a whetted razor, working deceit;
3 ты любишь больше зло, нежели добро, больше ложь, нежели говорить правду;
Thou lovest Evil more than good, Falsehood, more than speaking righteousness. (Selah)
4 ты любишь всякие гибельные речи, язык коварный:
Thou lovest all devouring words, O deceitful tongue!
5 за то Бог сокрушит тебя вконец, изринет тебя и исторгнет тебя из жилища твоего и корень твой из земли живых.
GOD also, will break thee down utterly, He will snatch thee up and tear thee away tentless, And uproot thee, out of the land of the living. (Selah)
6 Увидят праведники и убоятся, посмеются над ним и скажут:
The righteous shall both see and fear, And, over him, shall laugh:
7 “вот человек, который не в Боге полагал крепость свою, а надеялся на множество богатства своего, укреплялся в злодействе своем”.
Lo! the man who made not God his refuge, —But trusted in the abundance of his riches, Emboldened himself in his wealth!
8 А я, как зеленеющая маслина, в доме Божием, и уповаю на милость Божию во веки веков,
But, I, am like a flourishing olive-tree, in the house of God, I have put confidence in the lovingkindness of God, for times age-abiding and beyond.
9 вечно буду славить Тебя за то, что Ты соделал, и уповать на имя Твое, ибо оно благо пред святыми Твоими.
I will praise thee to times age-abiding, Because thou didst effectually work, —And I will wait on thy Name, Because it is good, In the presence of thy men of lovingkindness.
