Псалтирь 147
1 Аллилуия. Хвалите Господа, ибо благо петь Богу нашему, ибо это сладостно, - хвала подобающая.
Praise ye the LORD! For it is good to sing praise to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is becoming.
2 Господь созидает Иерусалим, собирает изгнанников Израиля.
The LORD buildeth up Jerusalem; He gathereth together the dispersed of Israel.
3 Он исцеляет сокрушенных сердцем и врачует скорби их;
He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds.
4 исчисляет количество звезд; всех их называет именами их.
He counteth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names.
5 Велик Господь наш и велика крепость Его, и разум Его неизмерим.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
6 Смиренных возвышает Господь, а нечестивых унижает до земли.
The LORD lifteth up the lowly; He casteth the wicked down to the ground.
7 Пойте поочередно славословие Господу; пойте Богу нашему на гуслях.
Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; Sing praises upon the harp to our God!
8 Он покрывает небо облаками, приготовляет для земли дождь, произращает на горах траву и злак на пользу человеку;
Who covereth the heavens with clouds, Who prepareth rain for the earth, Who causeth grass to grow upon the mountains.
9 дает скоту пищу его и птенцам ворона, взывающим к Нему.
He giveth to the cattle their food. And to the young ravens, when they cry.
10 Не на силу коня смотрит Он, не к быстроте ног человеческих благоволит, -
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse, He taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.
11 благоволит Господь к боящимся Его, к уповающим на милость Его.
The LORD taketh pleasure in those who fear him, In those who trust in his mercy.
12 Аллилуия. Хвали, Иерусалим, Господа; хвали, Сион, Бога твоего,
Praise the LORD. O Jerusalem! Praise thy God, O Zion!
13 ибо Он укрепляет вереи ворот твоих, благословляет сынов твоих среди тебя;
For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; He hath blessed thy children within thee.
14 утверждает в пределах твоих мир; туком пшеницы насыщает тебя;
He maketh peace in thy borders, And satisfieth thee with the finest of the wheat.
15 посылает слово Свое на землю; быстро течет слово Его;
He sendeth forth his command to the earth; His word runneth very swiftly.
16 дает снег, как волну; сыплет иней, как пепел;
He giveth snow like wool, And scattereth the hoar-frost like ashes.
17 бросает град Свой кусками; перед морозом Его кто устоит?
He casteth forth his ice like morsels; Who can stand before his cold?
18 Пошлет слово Свое, и все растает; подует ветром Своим, и потекут воды.
He sendeth forth his word, and melteth them; He causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19 Он возвестил слово Свое Иакову, уставы Свои и суды Свои Израилю.
He publisheth his word to Jacob, His statutes and laws to Israel.
20 Не сделал Он того никакому другому народу, и судов Его они не знают. Аллилуия.
He hath dealt in this manner with no other nation; And, as for his ordinances, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD!
