Исаия 55
1 Жаждущие! идите все к водам; даже и вы, у которых нет серебра, идите, покупайте и ешьте; идите, покупайте без серебра и без платы вино и молоко.
Alle that thirsten, come ye to watris, and ye han not siluer, haaste, bie ye, and ete ye; come ye, bie ye, with out siluer and with outen ony chaungyng, wyn and mylk.
2 Для чего вам отвешивать серебро за то, что не хлеб, и трудовое свое за то, что не насыщает? Послушайте Меня внимательно и вкушайте благо, и душа ваша да насладится туком.
Whi peisen ye siluer, and not in looues, and youre trauel, not in fulnesse? Ye herynge here me, and ete ye good, and youre soule schal delite in fatnesse.
3 Приклоните ухо ваше и придите ко Мне: послушайте, и жива будет душа ваша, - и дам вам завет вечный, неизменные милости, обещанные Давиду.
Bowe ye youre eere, and `come ye to me; here ye, and youre soule schal lyue; and Y schal smyte with you a couenaunt euerlastynge, the feithful mercies of Dauid.
4 Вот, Я дал Его свидетелем для народов, вождем и наставником народам.
Lo! Y yaf hym a witnesse to puplis, a duyk and a comaundour to folkis.
5 Вот, ты призовешь народ, которого ты не знал, и народы, которые тебя не знали, поспешат к тебе ради Господа Бога твоего и ради Святаго Израилева, ибо Он прославил тебя.
Lo! thou schalt clepe folkis, whiche thou knewist not; and folkis, that knewen not thee, schulen renne to thee; for thi Lord God, and the hooli of Israel, for he glorifiede thee.
6 Ищите Господа, когда можно найти Его; призывайте Его, когда Он близко.
Seke ye the Lord, while he mai be foundun; clepe ye hym to help, while he is niy.
7 Да оставит нечестивый путь свой и беззаконник - помыслы свои, и да обратится к Господу, и Он помилует его, и к Богу нашему, ибо Он многомилостив.
An vnfeithful man forsake his weie, and a wickid man forsake hise thouytis; and turne he ayen to the Lord, and he schal haue merci on hym, and to oure God, for he is myche to foryyue.
8 Мои мысли - не ваши мысли, ни ваши пути - пути Мои, говорит Господь.
For why my thouytis ben not youre thouytis, and my weies ben not youre weies, seith the Lord.
9 Но как небо выше земли, так пути Мои выше путей ваших, и мысли Мои выше мыслей ваших.
For as heuenys ben reisid fro erthe, so my weies ben reisid fro youre weies, and my thouytis fro youre thouytis.
10 Как дождь и снег нисходит с неба и туда не возвращается, но напояет землю и делает ее способною рождать и произращать, чтобы она давала семя тому, кто сеет, и хлеб тому, кто ест, -
And as reyn and snow cometh doun fro heuene, and turneth no more ayen thidur, but it fillith the erthe, and bischedith it, and makith it to buriowne, and yyueth seed to hym that sowith, and breed to hym that etith,
11 так и слово Мое, которое исходит из уст Моих, - оно не возвращается ко Мне тщетным, но исполняет то, что Мне угодно, и совершает то, для чего Я послал его.
so schal be my word, that schal go out of my mouth. It schal not turne ayen voide to me, but it schal do what euer thingis Y wolde, and it schal haue prosperite in these thingis to whiche Y sente it.
12 Итак вы выйдете с веселием и будете провожаемы с миром; горы и холмы будут петь пред вами песнь, и все дерева в поле рукоплескать вам.
For ye schulen go out in gladnesse, and ye schulen be led forth in pees; mounteyns and litil hillis schulen synge heriynge bifore you, and alle the trees of the cuntrei schulen make ioie with hond.
13 Вместо терновника вырастет кипарис; вместо крапивы возрастет мирт; и это будет во славу Господа, в знамение вечное, несокрушимое.
A fir tre schal grow for a firse, and a mirte tre schal wexe for a nettil; and the Lord schal be nemyd in to a signe euerlastynge, that schal not be doon awei.
