1 Петр, Апостол Иисуса Христа, пришельцам, рассеянным в Понте, Галатии, Каппадокии, Асии и Вифинии, избранным,
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the sojourners that are dispersed through Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 по предведению Бога Отца, при освящении от Духа, к послушанию и окроплению Кровию Иисуса Христа: благодать вам и мир да умножится.
elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctification of the Spirit, in order to obedience, and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: grace be to you, and peace be multiplied.
3 Благословен Бог и Отец Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, по великой Своей милости возродивший нас воскресением Иисуса Христа из мертвых к упованию живому,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to his abundant mercy, has, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, regenerated us for a living hope
4 К наследству нетленному, чистому, неувядаемому, хранящемуся на небесах для вас,
in respect to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for us,
5 силою Божиею через веру соблюдаемых ко спасению, готовому открыться в последнее время.
who are kept secure by the power of God through faith, to a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time:
6 О сем радуйтесь, поскорбев теперь немного, если нужно, от различных искушений,
in which you rejoice, though now for a little while, since it is needful, you are in sorrow under various temptations;
7 дабы испытанная вера ваша оказалась драгоценнее гибнущего, хотя и огнем испытываемого золота, к похвале и чести и славе в явление Иисуса Христа,
that your faith, when proved, being much more precious than gold, which perishes though it be tried by fire, may be found to be for praise and honor and glory, at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
8 Которого, не видев, любите, и Которого доселе не видя, но веруя в Него, радуетесь радостью неизреченною и преславною,
whom, though you have not seen him, yet you love; on whom not now looking, but believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable, and full of glory,
9 достигая наконец верою вашею спасения душ.
receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10 К сему-то спасению относились изыскания и исследования пророков, которые предсказывали о назначенной вам благодати,
Concerning which salvation the prophets that prophesied of the grace that should be for you, did inquire, and search diligently,
11 исследывая, на которое и на какое время указывал сущий в них Дух Христов, когда Он предвозвещал Христовы страдания и последующую за ними славу.
inquiring what things, and what time, the Spirit of Christ that was in them did signify, when it testified, beforehand, the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them;
12 Им открыто было, что не им самим, а нам служило то, что ныне проповедано вам благовествовавшими Духом Святым, посланным с небес, во что желают проникнуть Ангелы.
to whom it was revealed, that, not for themselves, but for us, they ministered the things that are now preached to you by those who have made known to you the gospel, through the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; into which things angels desire to look.
13 Посему, возлюбленные препоясав чресла ума вашего, бодрствуя, совершенно уповайте на подаваемую вам благодать в явлении Иисуса Христа.
Wherefore, gird up the loins of your mind; be watchful, and hope constantly for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ:
14 Как послушные дети, не сообразуйтесь с прежними похотями, бывшими в неведении вашем,
as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the desires which you formerly had in your ignorance;
15 но, по примеру призвавшего вас Святаго, и сами будьте святы во всех поступках.
but as he who has called you is holy, so be you holy in all your behavior:
16 Ибо написано: будьте святы, потому что Я свят.
because it is written, Be you holy, for I am holy.
17 И если вы называете Отцем Того, Который нелицеприятно судит каждого по делам, то со страхом проводите время странствования вашего,
And since you call on the Father, who, without respect of persons, judges according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear:
18 зная, что не тленным серебром или золотом искуплены вы от суетной жизни, преданной вам от отцов,
because you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver or gold, from your vain mode of life received by tradition from your fathers,
19 но драгоценною Кровию Христа как непорочного и чистого Агнца,
but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without spot and blemish,
20 предназначенного еще прежде создания мира, но явившегося в последние времена для вас,
who was indeed foreordained before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for you,
21 уверовавших чрез Него в Бога, Который воскресил Его из мертвых и дал Ему славу, чтобы вы имели веру и упование на Бога.
who through him do believe in God who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Послушанием истине чрез Духа, очистив души ваши к нелицемерному братолюбию, постоянно любите друг друга от чистого сердца,
Having purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit, to unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another with a pure heart fervently,
23 как возрожденные не от тленного семени, но от нетленного, от слова Божия, живаго и пребывающего вовек. (aiōn g165)
having been begotten again, not with corruptible seed, but with incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. (aiōn g165)
24 Ибо всякая плоть как трава, и всякая слава человеческая как цвет на траве: засохла трава, и цвет ее опал;
For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass; the grass withers, and its flower fails away:
