Titus 3

1 Fee nesenenedꞌaꞌ neu jamaꞌat ra, fo rena mana parenda ma mana toꞌu koasa ra. Ma ara musi tao tungga atoran ma sadꞌia tao maloleꞌ rakandooꞌ a.

Put them in mind to be in subjection to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready unto every good work,

2 Afiꞌ rendi-rendiꞌ dedꞌeat fo raꞌamuti-raꞌamuu atahori nara malole nara. Ara o afiꞌ hii rareresi. Malole lenaꞌ rasodꞌa malolole ro basa atahori ra.

to speak evil of no man, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all meekness toward all men.

3 Maꞌahulun, leleꞌ hita nda feꞌe tahine Lamatuaꞌ Yesus sa, nda tahine saa-saa sa boe, ma ata nenetipuꞌ no mudꞌaꞌ. Hita nda nau rena atahori laen sa. Tasodꞌa tunggaꞌ a rala deꞌulaka tara, de taꞌasususaꞌ ao tara no nasabꞌoriꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ. Hita nda maloleꞌ to atahori sa ma masodꞌa tara sofeꞌ noꞌ a dale-leliꞌ ra. Hiiꞌ a tambedꞌaꞌ ralaꞌ, ma atahori o rambedꞌaꞌ ralaꞌ ro nggita boe.

For we also once were foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

4 Onaꞌ mae masodꞌa tara rambalutu ena o, Lamatualain mana fee hita masodꞌaꞌ a, natudꞌu susuen, ma rala malolen neu hita ena.

But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and his love toward man, appeared,

not by works [done] in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

6 Huu Yesus Kristus mate, fo sala-kilu tara nenefee ambon, ma hambu masodꞌaꞌ boe, naa de Lamatualain naꞌondaꞌ Dula-dale Meumaren nema hita nda nemeetu sa.

which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)

8 Au olaꞌ ia, memaꞌ tebꞌe taꞌo naa. Saa fo au unoriꞌ ia, naꞌena ngguna fee basa atahori ra. De musi muu huhuar atahori fo ara tungga nenoriꞌ naa ra no tebꞌe-tebꞌe. Basa atahori mana ramahere neu Lamatuaꞌ musi sanggaꞌ dalaꞌ fo taoꞌ a maloleꞌ ra.

Faithful is the saying, and concerning these things I desire that thou affirm confidently, to the end that they who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men:

9 Afiꞌ sorodꞌodꞌodꞌo mo dedꞌea ombo-koson ra, onaꞌ nereresi dedꞌea nda ma huu-pataꞌ ra sa, Afiꞌ muu mutofa mo atahori, mireresi seka tititi-nonosin manaseliꞌ lenaꞌ, ma mitofa soꞌal hohoro-lalane adat Yahudi ra. Soaꞌ neu saa? Basa naa ra nda raꞌena ngguna saa sa boe. Ngganggariꞌ a fai!

but shun foolish questionings, and genealogies, and strifes, and fightings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

A factious man after a first and second admonition refuse;

knowing that such a one is perverted, and sinneth, being self-condemned.

12 Au ae denu Artemas do Tikikus, neti nandaa no nggo sia pulu Kreta. Mete ma ana losa, na, uma lai-lai mundaa mo au sia kota Nikopolis. Te fai maꞌasufuꞌ ia, au hii ae leo sia naa.

When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, give diligence to come unto me to Nicopolis: for there I have determined to winter.

13 Muhine mana nahine soꞌal hohoro-lalaneꞌ naran Senas, ma nonoon Apolos, to! Ara rae reu sia mamana dodꞌooꞌ. De tulu-fali mala se fo ara afiꞌ toꞌa-taa saa sia dalaꞌ boe.

Set forward Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.

14 Atahori mana tungga Lamatuaꞌ Yesus afiꞌ endoꞌ lipa limaꞌ. Ara musi ranori tao maloleꞌ ma tulu-fali atahori mana toꞌa-taaꞌ ra. No taꞌo naa, masodꞌa nara raꞌena ngguna.

And let our [people] also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

15 Basa hai mana sia ia ra haitua sodꞌa-moleꞌ fee nggo, Titus, ma fe neu hita toronoo mana ramahere neu Lamatuaꞌ Yesus boe. Au hule-oꞌe fo Lamatuaꞌ natudꞌu rala malolen neu basa nggi. Baꞌu a naa, Paulus

All that are with me salute thee. Salute them that love us in faith. Grace be with you all.
