< Roma 1 >
1 Susura ia mia au, Paulus. Lamatualain noꞌe nala au fo dadꞌi Yesus Kristus dedꞌenun. Ana soꞌu au dadꞌi Yesus Kristus atahori dedꞌenun fo uu dui-bꞌengga Eni Hara-lii Malolen sudꞌiꞌ sia bee-bꞌee.
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, separated unto the glad-message of God—
Ia naa, Hehelu-fufulin naa dadꞌi ena, huu Yesus nema dadꞌi atahori mia mane Daud tititi-nononosin ena.
Which he promised beforehand, through his prophets, in holy scriptures—
Concerning his Son, —who came to be of the seed of David, according to flesh,
4 Te Lamatualain natudꞌu bukti nae, Yesus Kristus naa, Eni Anan boe. Huu Yesus Dula-dalen, tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ meumareꞌ onaꞌ Lamatualain. Ma Lamatuaꞌ pake koasan de nafefela baliꞌ Yesus mia mamaten. Naa de, hita bubꞌuluꞌ tae Lamatualain Anan, naeni Yesus, hita Lamatuan.
Who was distinguished as the Son of God—by power, according to a Holy Spirit, through means of a resurrection of the dead, —Jesus Christ our Lord;
5 Yesus natudꞌu rala malolen neu au, huu Ana tengga nala au dadꞌi dedꞌenun fo uu dui-bꞌengga hehelu-fufulin sia bee-bꞌee. Huu Ana nau atahori nda Yahudi ra sa o, ramahere E boe ma rasodꞌa tungga hihii-nanaun. Au o nau fo atahori mia basa nusaꞌ ra, ramahere Kristus ma rasodꞌa tungga hihii-nanaun.
Through whom we have received favour and apostleship, for obedience of faith among all the nations, in behalf of his name,
6 Hei mana sia Roma ra o, onaꞌ naa boe. Hei ima mia nusaꞌ hetar sia mamanaꞌ hetar. Yesus Kristus noꞌe nala hei nae, “Ima leo! Ima dadꞌi Au atahori nggara!”
Among whom are, ye also, called of Jesus Christ:
7 Naa de au haitua susura fee nggi sia Roma, ma fee nggi nesenenedꞌaꞌ ae, Lamatualain sue-lai nggi. Ana o noꞌe fo ama dadꞌi Eni atahorin mana rasodꞌa meumareꞌ. Au hule-oꞌe fo Lamatualain, hita Aman, no Yesus Kristus, hita Lamatuan, ratudꞌu rala malole nara neu nggi ma fee nggi misodꞌa no mole-dꞌame.
Unto all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called saints, favour unto you, and peace, from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.
8 Au mulai suraꞌ susura ngga ia, no oꞌe makasi nae-nae neu Lamatualain, huu Yesus Kristus ue-tao sia rala mara.
First, indeed, I give thanks unto my God, through Jesus Christ, concerning you all, because your faith is being announced throughout the whole world.
9 Au hule-oꞌe nda namaꞌetu sa fee nggi. Tebꞌe! Lamatuaꞌ bubꞌuluꞌ nae, saa fo au olaꞌ ia, tebꞌe. Ana o bubꞌuluꞌ au manggate tao ues, fo dui-bꞌengga Anan Hara-lii Malolen.
For God is, my witness, —unto whom I am rendering divine service in my spirit, in the glad message of his Son, —how incessantly, I am making mention of you
10 Mete ma au hule-oꞌe na, au oꞌe taꞌo ia: “Lamatuaꞌ, au nda itaꞌ ae dꞌalan taꞌo bee sa boe. Te mete ma tungga Lamatuaꞌ hihii-nanaun, na, soi dalaꞌ fo au uu ita nonoo nggara sia Roma.”
At all times in my prayers, —making supplication—if, by some means, even now, at any time, I may have a way opened, in the will of God, to come unto you;
11 Au hule-oꞌe taꞌo naa, huu au hii-nau ae ita nggi, fo bꞌanggi fee nggi koasa mia Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dalen, fo ama dadꞌi mii Lamatuaꞌ atahorin mana maꞌatata mahereꞌ.
For I am longing to see you, that I may impart some spiritual gift unto you, to the end ye may be established, —
12 Au masud ngga taꞌo ia: mete ma au dadꞌi uma leo o nggi, au ae tao manggatee rala mara, fo nemehere mara boe manggatee. Ma au nau fo hei o tao manggatetee rala ngga boe.
That is to say—there may be a mutual encouragement among you, each by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
13 Toronoo susue nggara e! Au nau fo ama bubꞌuluꞌ mae, au ae eti seꞌu nggi sia Roma lao hetar ena. Te losa faiꞌ ia au nda feꞌe eti sa boe. De mete ma dadꞌi eti, au hule-huleꞌ fo atahori hetar feꞌe ramahere rahereꞌ neu Kristus, onaꞌ sia mamanaꞌ laen ra boe. No taꞌo naa, au ue-tatao ngga naꞌena buna-bꞌoa maloleꞌ.
I do not wish however that ye should be ignorant, brethren, that, many times, have I purposed to come unto you, but have been hindered, until the present, —in order that, some fruit, I might have among you also, even as among the other nations,
14 Mae taꞌo bee o, au musi dui-bꞌengga Lamatuaꞌ Hara-lii Malolen neu atahori mana olaꞌ dedꞌea Yunani do, atahori diintiu mana olaꞌ dedꞌea laen do, atahori moko do, anak do, sakolaꞌ do, nda sakolaꞌ sa. Au musi dui-bꞌengga Lamatuaꞌ Hara-lii Malolen neu basa atahori. Naa de au sadꞌia ala ena ae eti seꞌu nggi sia Roma.
Both to Greeks and to Barbarians, both to wise and to unwise, a debtor, I am:
Thus, the eagerness on my part—unto you also who are in Rome, to announce the joyful message.
16 Au nda mae mbei-mbei sa boe, soꞌal Lamatuaꞌ Yesus Hara-lii Malolen. Te mete ma atahori namahere neu Lamatualain, Hara-liiꞌ naa naꞌena koasa mia E fo fee masodꞌaꞌ neu atahori naa, sala-kilun. Atahori Yahudi ra bubꞌuluꞌ raꞌahuluꞌ dalaꞌ ia ra, dei de nusaꞌ laen ra.
For I am not ashamed of the joyful message; for it is God’s power unto salvation, to every one that believeth, both to Jew [first] and to Greek;
17 Hara-liiꞌ naa o natudꞌu Lamatuaꞌ dꞌalan fo tao natetu atahori masalaꞌ ra.
For, a righteousness of God, is therein revealed, —by faith unto faith: even as it is written—But, he that is righteous, by faith, shall live.
Ma hambu ruma tao dꞌala deꞌulakaꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ. Ma Lamatuaꞌ nda simbo tatao-nonoꞌin nara naa sa. Atahori ia ra rahine ndoo-tetuꞌ a sia rala nara ena. Onaꞌ naa o, ara akaꞌ tao rakandooꞌ a dꞌala-dꞌala nda matetuꞌ ra sa.
For there is being revealed an anger of God from heaven—against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who, the truth, in unrighteousness, do hold down; —
Inasmuch as, what may be known of God, is manifest among them, for, God, unto them, hath made it manifest, —
20 Atahori ia ra nda raꞌena totoꞌu-nonoet fo rasalaꞌe ao nara sa, huu dalaꞌ mana tao atahori bisa bubꞌuluꞌ soꞌal Lamatualain naa, manggareloꞌ ena.
For, the unseen things of him, from a world’s creation, by the things made, being perceived, are clearly seen, even his eternal power and divinity, —to the end they should be without excuse; (aïdios )
21 Dadꞌi mae rahine Lamatuaꞌ, te nda nau rataa E rae, “Lamatuaꞌ naa, hita Lamatualain na!” Ara o nda nau roꞌe makasi mbali E sa boe. Boe ma dudꞌuꞌa nara liuali, losa nda rahine saa-saa fo matetuꞌ a sa ena.
Inasmuch as, having come to know God, not, as God, did they glorify him, or give him thanks, but were made fruitless in their reasonings, and darkened was their undiscerning heart,
22 Ara esa-esaꞌ olaꞌ no koaot rae, “Au ia, atahori mana nahine dalaꞌ naeꞌ!” Mae ara duꞌa raꞌo naa o, te matetun, nggoa nara onaꞌ amba e.
Professing to be wise, they were made foolish,
23 Boe ma ara nda beꞌutee neu Lamatualain manaseliꞌ a sa, huu ara rae, “Hai nda parlu Lamatuaꞌ mataꞌ naa sa!” Te ara mulai beꞌutee neu paton mataꞌ-mataꞌ, mana onaꞌ atahori. Ma ara o beꞌutee neu paton mana onaꞌ mbuiꞌ, onaꞌ banda laen, ma mana onaꞌ mengge ra boe. No taꞌo naa, ara timba hendi Lamatuaꞌ fo nda mana mateꞌ a sa, de nggati no sudꞌiꞌ a saa mana bisa mateꞌ ra!
And, exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God, for the likeness of an image of a corruptible man, and of birds and fourfooted beasts and reptiles:
Wherefore God gave them up in the covetings of their hearts unto impurity, so as to be dishonouring their bodies among them, —
25 Ara rahine nenori ndoo-tetuꞌ soꞌal Lamatualain sia rala nara ena, te ara nda nau taoafiꞌ sa. Dudꞌuꞌa nara rambalulutu ena, ma ara dudꞌuꞌa rae, “Malole lenaꞌ, ata tao mataꞌ-mataꞌ, fo rambalulutu, te nda hambu nggenggeroꞌ saa sa boe!” Ara beꞌutee neu sudꞌiꞌ a saa fo Lamatuaꞌ taoꞌ ra, te nda nau beꞌutee neu Lamatuaꞌ mana tao basa sudꞌiꞌ a saa naa ra sa! Ara tao ao nara onaꞌ atahori mamahereꞌ re, tao-tao te hokoꞌ, nda maisiꞌ saa sa boe! Huu matetun, hita atahori musi koa-kio fee hadꞌa-hormat neu Lamatualain nekendoꞌ a! Naa, dei fo nandaa! (aiōn )
Who, indeed, exchanged away the truth of God for the falsehood, and rendered worship and service unto the creature rather than unto the Creator, —who is blessed unto the ages. Amen!
Ara akaꞌ hohongge mataꞌ-mataꞌ, nda mae rahine sa. Inaꞌ ra nda nau sungguꞌ ro sao nara sa, ara hiiꞌ a saa, mana nda nandaa no hadꞌat sa. Huu inaꞌ ra sungguꞌ ro inaꞌ ra!
For this cause, God gave them up unto dishonourable passions; for, even their females, exchanged away the natural use into that which is against nature, —
Naa de ara hambu huhuku-dodꞌokiꞌ nandaa no tataon nara! Huu ara lao raꞌadꞌodꞌooꞌ mia dala ndoo-tetuꞌ a ena.
In like manner also, even the males, leaving the natural use of the female, flamed out in their eager desire one for another, males with males, the indecency, effecting, —and, the necessary recompence of their error, within themselves, duly receiving; —
28 Ara duꞌa rae, “Malole lenaꞌ, ata afiꞌ nenepaꞌa-siiꞌ to Lamatuaꞌ,” Naa de Lamatuaꞌ hela se reuꞌ ena, de ara sudꞌiꞌ a tao tungga hihii-nanau nara! Dadꞌi ara duꞌa akaꞌ deꞌulakaꞌ ra! Boe ma tao-taoꞌ a dꞌala-dꞌala nda matetuꞌ ra sa!
And, even as they did not approve to be holding, God, in acknowledgment, God gave them up unto a disapproved mind to be doing the things that are not becoming,
Ara hii-nau leli. Ara rambedꞌaꞌ ralaꞌ. Ara hiiꞌ a horombala. Ara risa atahori. Ara akaꞌ ratofa-raauꞌ. Ara peko-lelekoꞌ. Ara Lakaese. Ara rendi-rendiꞌ a dedꞌea lenaꞌ.
Filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, baseness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil disposition,
30 Ara raꞌamuti atahori naran. Ara mburu-oeꞌ ro Lamatuaꞌ. Ara onaꞌ nda nenenenoriꞌ sa. Ara hiiꞌ a raloe-radꞌae atahori. Ara hiiꞌ a koa-boꞌu ao nara. Ara hiiꞌ a sangga dudꞌuꞌa deꞌulakaꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ. Ara hiiꞌ a labꞌan atahori lasiꞌ ra.
Whisperers, detractors, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, vain boasters, inventors of vices, unto parents unyielding,
31 Ara nda ritaꞌ rae saa fo matetuꞌ sa. Ara ralena langga neu sira hehelu-fufuli nara, losa atahori nda ramahere se sa ena. Ara nda sue rahine atahori sa. Ara nda raꞌena susue-lalaiꞌ mbei sa boe neu atahori.
Without discernment, regardless of covenants, without natural affection, unmerciful: —
32 Ara rahine Lamatualain hohoro-lalanen mana oi, atahori mana tao deꞌulakaꞌ mataꞌ naa ra, randaa hambu hukun mates. Mae rahine hohoro-lalaneꞌ naa o, te ara feꞌe tao deꞌulakaꞌ nda mbei-mbeiꞌ a sa. Nda akaꞌ a naa sa, ara o akaꞌ dunggu-mbau atahori, fo ara o tungga tao salaꞌ onaꞌ naa boe. Naa seli tebꞌe!
Who, indeed, having acknowledged the righteous sentence of God, —that, they who such things as these do practise, are worthy of death, not only, the same things, are doing, but are even delighting together with them who are practising [them].
