< Roma 14 >
1 Hambu atahori ramahere neu Lamatuaꞌ ena, te nemeheren nda feꞌe mahereꞌ sa ma nda feꞌe nahine dalaꞌ hetar sa. De mikimbela lima mara fo simbo mala e no maloleꞌ. Afiꞌ mireresi soꞌal dudꞌuꞌan. Hela e naꞌabꞌue no nggi.
Receive anyone who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of disputing about opinions.
2 Hambu atahori mana ramahere neu Lamatuaꞌ, duꞌa rae, atahori saraniꞌ bisa raa sudꞌiꞌ a sa, onaꞌ sisi do, saa do. Te atahori saraniꞌ laen, fo nemehere nara nda mahereꞌ sa, raa akaꞌ utaꞌ hau ro. Huu ara raluli sisi.
One person believes that he may eat anything, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.
3 Te rena, e! Atahori saraniꞌ mana nae eni bisa naa sudꞌiꞌ a saa, afiꞌ neloe-nedꞌae atahori nda mana nau naa sisi sa. Onaꞌ naa boe, atahori saraniꞌ nda mana nau naa sisi sa, afiꞌ mifadꞌe atahori mana naa sisi a mae, “Weh! Mia sisi na, sala!” Huu Lamatualain simbo ruꞌa se fo dadꞌi Eni atahorin ena!
The one who eats must not despise the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat must not judge the one who eats, for God has received him.
Who are yoʋ to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
5 Hambu atahori ruma raꞌetuꞌ rae, fai esa malole lenaꞌ fai laen ra. Hambu atahori laen duꞌa rae, basa fai ra ona esaꞌ, nda hambu fai esa fea no esa sa boe. Atahori esa-esaꞌ musi naꞌetuꞌ dedꞌeat naa aon.
One person considers one day to be more important than another, while another person considers every day to be alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
6 Mete ma atahori mana duꞌa nae hambu fai esa malole lenaꞌ fai laen, ana tao taꞌo naa fo natudꞌu hadꞌa-hormat neu hita Lamatuan. Atahori mana naa sisi no naa sudꞌiꞌ a saa laen ra, ara bisa raa fo ratudꞌu hadꞌa-hormat neu hita Lamatuan, huu ana noꞌe makasi mbali Lamatuaꞌ. Onaꞌ naa boe atahori nda mana naa sisi a sa. Ana o nae natudꞌu hadꞌa-hormat neu hita Lamatuan boe, ma ana o noꞌe makasi neu Lamatuaꞌ.
He who observes a particular day, observes it in honor of the Lord, while he who abstains from observing a particular day, abstains in honor of the Lord. He who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, for he gives thanks to God, while he who abstains from eating, abstains in honor of the Lord, and he gives thanks to God.
7 Naa, Leleꞌ hita tasodꞌa, hita nda tasodꞌa fee neuꞌ a ao tara sa. Boe ma mete ma hita mate o, hita nda mate fee neu akaꞌ ao tara sa.
For none of us lives for himself, and none of us dies for himself.
8 Te mete ma hita feꞌe tasodꞌa, hita taꞌabꞌue teu esa to hita Lamatuan. Onaꞌ naa boe, mete ma hita mate, hita feꞌe taꞌabꞌue teu esa to hita Lamatuan. Dadꞌi mae tasodꞌa, do ata mate, hita feꞌe dadꞌi Eni enan.
If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
9 Naeni de Kristus mate, basa ma nasodꞌa baliꞌ. Ana tao taꞌo naa, naa fo Ana dadꞌi Lamatuaꞌ soaꞌ neu atahori mana mateꞌ ra ena, ma soaꞌ neu atahori masodꞌaꞌ ra boe.
For this reason Christ died and then rose and lived again, so that he might be Lord over both the dead and the living.
10 Dadꞌi, taꞌo bee de soꞌu aom onaꞌ mana maꞌetuꞌ dedꞌeat, fo teꞌe-sii toronoom atahori saraniꞌ ra? Taꞌo bee de muloe-mudꞌae e? Te dei fo basa nggita musi teu tandaa to Lamatualain, fo Ana paresaꞌ hita esa-esaꞌ masodꞌan.
Yoʋ, then, why do yoʋ judge yoʋr brother? Or yoʋ, why do yoʋ despise yoʋr brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 Nenesuraꞌ mia lele uluꞌ sia Lamatuaꞌ Susura Meumaren oi, “Hita Lamatuan mana nafadꞌe nae, no Au nara ngga ia, ‘Dei fo basa atahori sendeꞌ lululangga nara fo beꞌutee neu Au, ma ratudꞌu hadꞌa-hormat neu Au. Ma, dei fo basa atahori rataa rendiꞌ bafa nara, rae, Au dadꞌi sira Lamatuan, huu Au ia, Lamatualain.’”
For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me, and every tongue will give praise to God.”
12 Dadꞌi dei fo basa nggita musi tataa tala fo tafadꞌe Lamatuaꞌ tae, hita tao saa, ma saa de hita tao taꞌo naa.
So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
13 Feꞌesaꞌan, hei mana sia Roma ra akaꞌ fua salaꞌ neu toronoom atahori saraniꞌ ra. Afiꞌ taꞌo naa fai! Malole lenaꞌ, ata taꞌetuꞌ taꞌo ia: Ata afiꞌ tao toronoo tara raꞌatunu. Ata besa-bꞌesa fo afiꞌ neꞌetutudꞌaꞌ se risiꞌ salaꞌ.
Therefore let us no longer judge one another. Instead, resolve not to put any stumbling block or snare before your brother.
14 Huu au uꞌubꞌue uu esa o hita Lamatuan Yesus, au uhine tebꞌe, taꞌo ia: nda hambu nanaat mataꞌ esa sa boe bisa tao nanggenggeo atahori, losa ana nda bisa hule-oꞌe nala neu Lamatuaꞌ sa. Te mete ma atahori esa duꞌa nae saa esa tao e nanggenggeo, losa ana nda medꞌa nae eni nda naꞌena hak hule-oꞌe sa ena, hela fo naa dadꞌi neluliꞌ soaꞌ neu e
I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in and of itself, but it is unclean for anyone who considers it to be unclean.
15 Onaꞌ, mete ma mua sisi, ma naa tao toronoom ralan susa, na, ho nda mutudꞌu susuem neu e sa, to? Muꞌutataaꞌ aom dei! Afiꞌ tao mulutu toronoom, huu hii mae mua saa esa! Huu Kristus o mate soaꞌ neu atahori naa boe.
If yoʋr brother is distressed by what yoʋ eat, yoʋ are no longer walking in love. Do not let what yoʋ eat destroy someone for whom Christ died.
16 Nda maloleꞌ sa mete ma ho tao dalaꞌ esa fo mae naa maloleꞌ, te atahori laen ra olaꞌ raꞌamuti naram, huu ara rae tataom naa, deꞌulakaꞌ.
And do not let what you consider good to be spoken of as evil.
17 Duꞌa malolole! Huu Lamatualain, hita Manen. Huu hita Maneꞌ a atahorin, de hita nda tasodꞌa taa-tinu tunggaꞌ a hohoro lalaneꞌ a sa. Hokoꞌ! Hita o musi tao dala ndoo-tetuꞌ, rala tara meumareꞌ, tasodꞌa no ndoos ma mole-dame, ma rala tara tamahoꞌo. Basa ia ra dadꞌi, mete ma hita taꞌabꞌue teu esa takandoo to Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dale Meumaren.
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
18 Atahori mana mete-seꞌu Kristus taꞌo naa, tao namahoꞌo Lamatuaꞌ ralan. Ma atahori laen o paresaꞌ ralolole atahori naa masodꞌan boe, basa fo soꞌu atahori naa naran rae, “Eni, maloleꞌ!”
Anyone who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.
19 Dadꞌi ata musi tahehere fo tasodꞌa mole-dame, ma tao maꞌedere esa no esa.
So then, let us pursue what brings about peace and mutual edification.
20 Afiꞌ tao nelutu Lamatuaꞌ ue-tataon sia atahori laen masodꞌan huu akaꞌ soꞌal nanaa-nininuꞌ a. Lamatuaꞌ nae bole mua sudꞌiꞌ a saa, huu basa se meumareꞌ. Te mete ma mureresi mo toronoom huu akaꞌ soꞌal nanaa-nininuꞌ a, ho ia, sala. Afiꞌ taꞌo naa!
Do not tear down the work of God for the sake of food. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes another to stumble.
21 Malole lenaꞌ, muꞌutataaꞌ aom. Afiꞌ mua sisi, afiꞌ minu oe anggor, do mua-minu saa mana tao toronoom tudꞌa salaꞌ.
It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything by which yoʋr brother stumbles or is offended or made weak.
22 Au masud ngga taꞌo ia: mete ma mala haraꞌ mo Lamatuaꞌ ena, basa ma muꞌetuꞌ mae, ho mumuhere E soꞌal nanana-nininuꞌ, na, ho onton, huu namandoo ena. Sudꞌi boe duꞌa-duꞌaꞌ fo sangga muhine mae ho tao salaꞌ, do hokoꞌ. Huu muꞌetuꞌ taꞌo naa ena na.
Do yoʋ have a firm belief about these things? Have it privately before God. Blessed is he who does not condemn himself by what he approves.
23 Te mete ma ralam naꞌabꞌabꞌanggi, basa ma mua saa esa fo medꞌa mae naa mana tao nggo munggenggeo, Lamatuaꞌ fee salaꞌ neu nggo, huu nda tao tungga saa fo mumuhere sia ralam leleꞌ mua minu. Huu mete ma mae tao sudꞌiꞌ a saa, te mumuhere mae, naa nda tebꞌe sia Lamatuaꞌ matan sa, na, naa sala ena.
But whoever doubts is condemned if he eats, because his action is not based on faith; and anything that is not based on faith is sin.
