< Yohanis 21 >
1 Basa fai hira boe ma, Yesus natudꞌu seluꞌ Aon mia dano Tiberias suun. Eni dudꞌuit na, taꞌo ia:
After these things Jesus, risen from the dead, revealed Himself to His disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and He did it like this:
2 Leleꞌ naa, Yesus ana mana tungga nara atahori hitu raꞌabꞌue. Naeni: Simon Petrus, Tomas, fo ara roꞌe rae, ‘ana duaꞌ ra’, Natanel, mia kambo Kana sia profinsi Galilea, Sabadeus ana nara atahori rua, ma Yesus ana mana tunggan laen atahori rua.
Simon Peter, Thomas (called Twin), Nathanael (from Cana of Galilee), Zebedee's sons and two others of His disciples were together.
3 Simon Petrus nafadꞌe nonoo nara nae, “Au ae uu mboꞌi puꞌat.” Boe ma ara rataa rae, “Hei boe! Hai o tungga boe.”
Simon Peter says to them, “I'm going fishing.” They say to him, “We're coming with you.” Off they went and got right into the boat, and that whole night they caught nothing.
Well when daybreak had now come Jesus stood on the beach; however the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
5 Boe ma nameli de natane se nae, “Aꞌa ra, e! Hambu uꞌu ena, do?” Ara rataa rae, “Rouꞌ, Aꞌa! Hai nda mala sa saa boe.”
Then Jesus says to them, “Boys, you don't have any food, do you?” They answered Him, “No.”
6 Boe ma nafadꞌe se nae, “Mboꞌi sobꞌa puꞌat neu ofaꞌ bobꞌoa onan. Dei fo hei mala.” De ara tao tungga. Boe ma ara rala uꞌu. Uꞌu hetar seli, losa ara nda raeꞌ a nore rala puꞌat ofaꞌ rala neu sa.
So He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat and you will find.” So they did, and now they were unable to haul it in because of the multitude of fish!
7 Naa, au o sia naa boe. Au ia, ana mana tunggan fo Yesus sueꞌ a. De au ufadꞌe Petrus ae, “Awii! Eni, hita Lamatuan!”
Then that disciple whom Jesus loved says to Peter, “It's the Lord!” Upon hearing that it was the Lord, Simon Peter tied on his outer garment (for he was stripped) and plunged into the sea.
8 Huu mbei ma ofaꞌ doon akaꞌ meter natun esa mia madꞌaꞌ ata. De nonoo nara sefe ofaꞌ baliꞌ madꞌaꞌ ata reu, ma nore rendi puꞌat mana sofeꞌ no uꞌu sia ofaꞌ a deaꞌ.
But the other disciples came in the little boat dragging the net with the fish (for they were not far from the land, but about 100 yards).
Then, as they stepped onto the land they saw a charcoal fire in place with fish lying on it, and bread.
10 Yesus nafadꞌe se nae, “Mendi uꞌu mbei mia faꞌ ra fo hei puꞌa malaꞌ ra.”
Jesus says to them, “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.”
11 Boe ma Simon Petrus hene baliꞌ ofaꞌ rala neu, de ana nore puꞌat madꞌaꞌ ata neu. Puꞌat naa sofeꞌ no uꞌu monaeꞌ. Dedesi nara uꞌu natun esa lima nulu telu. Mae uꞌu desi basa naa te, puꞌat naa nda sika hendi e sa.
Simon Peter got up and dragged the net onto the land, full of one hundred and fifty-three large fish; and although being so many, the net was not torn.
12 Basa de Yesus noꞌe se nae, “Ima, fo mia leo!” Ara o bubꞌuluꞌ rae, Eni, sira Lamatuan. Naa de ara nda rambarani ratane rae, “Aꞌa ia, Seka?”
Jesus says to them, “Come have breakfast!” Well not one of the disciples dared to ask Him, “Who are you?”—knowing that it was the Lord.
13 Boe ma Yesus haꞌi nala roti no uꞌu, de fee neu se.
Then Jesus comes and takes the bread and gives it to them, as also the fish.
14 Naa, Naeni lao ka telun Yesus natudꞌu Aon neu ana mana tungga nara, leleꞌ Ana nasodꞌa baliꞌ mia Eni mamaten.
This was already a third time that Jesus appeared to His disciples after He was raised from among the dead.
15 Leleꞌ ara raa basa, ma Yesus natane Simon Petrus nae, “He, Simon, Yohanis anan. Taꞌo bee? Ho sue Au lenaꞌ nonoo mara ia ra, do?” Ana nataa nae, “Tebꞌe! Papa bubꞌuluꞌ au sue Nggo ena.” Boe ma Yesus helu neu e nae, “Mete ma taꞌo naa, na, tadꞌa malolole Au bibꞌi lombo ana nggara fo hambu raa.”
So, when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus says to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He says to Him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I'm fond of you.” He says to him, “Feed my lambs.”
16 Boe ma Yesus natane seluꞌ e nae, “Simon, Yohanis anan. Taꞌo bee? Ho sue Au, do?” Ana nataa nae, “Tebꞌeꞌ! Papa bubꞌuluꞌ au sue Papa.” Boe ma Yesus helu neu e nae, “Mete ma taꞌo naa, na, muꞌubꞌoi malolole Au bibꞌi lombo nggara.”
He says to him again, a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He says to Him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I'm fond of you.” He says to him, “Shepherd my sheep.”
17 Basa ma Yesus natane seluꞌ e fai nae, “Simon, Yohanis anan. Taꞌo bee? Ho sue Au, do?” Boe ma Petrus ralan susa neuꞌ ena, huu Yesus natane lao telu ena nae, “Ho sue Au, do?” De ana nataa nae, “Papa mana bubꞌuluꞌ basa dalaꞌ ra. Dadꞌi Papa bubꞌuluꞌ mae, au sue Papa.”
The third time He says to him, “Simon, son of Jonah, are you fond of me?” Peter was grieved in that the third time He said to him, “Are you fond of me?” and said to Him: “Lord, you know all things. You know that I'm fond of you!” Jesus says to him: “Feed my sheep.
18 Muhine Au masud ngga ena, do? Au o ae ufadꞌe taꞌo ia: feꞌesaꞌan, leleꞌ feꞌe soruꞌ, na, pake badꞌu, no bori boborit sia lelebꞌom, laoꞌ sudꞌiꞌ a muu sia bee, tunggaꞌ a hihiim.
Most assuredly I say to you, when you were younger you used to get dressed and walk where you wished; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands and another will dress you and carry you where you do not wish.”
19 (Yesus olaꞌ naꞌo naa fo nafadꞌe neu Petrus soꞌal saa fo neꞌo dadꞌi sia eni aon. Huu neꞌo Petrus mamaten naa, natudꞌu Lamatualain manaselin.) Basa naa ma, Yesus nafadꞌe neu Petrus nae, “Uma fo dadꞌi Au atahori ngga leo!”
(He said this to indicate the kind of death by which he would glorify God.) And upon saying that He says to him, “Follow me!”
But turning around Peter sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following (that is the one who reclined on His chest at the supper and said, “Lord, who is the one who is betraying you?”).
21 Leleꞌ Petrus nita au, ma ana natane Yesus nae, “Papa, e! Papa ola soꞌal au faꞌ ra ia ena. Te eni ona bee?”
Seeing him, Peter says to Jesus, “Lord, what about him?”
22 Yesus nafadꞌe Petrus nae, “Ho nda urusan ma naa sa. Onaꞌ mae Au hii fo ana nahani sia ia losa Au baliꞌ uma na, naa salan saa? Sadꞌi musi musunedꞌa saa fo Au helu neu nggo faꞌ ra, naeni: uma dadꞌi atahori Ngga leo.
Jesus says to him: “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me.”
So this saying spread among the brothers, that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him [Peter] that he [John] would not die, but, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”
24 Ana mana tungga fo Yesus olaꞌ naa, naeni au, Yohanis. Au mana dui basa dalaꞌ ia ra neu nggi. Au mana ita no mata ngga. Ma au mana suraꞌ basa ia ra. Boe ma hita bubꞌuluꞌ ena tae, saa fo au ufadꞌe neu nggi naa, tebꞌe.
This is the disciple who is testifying to these things, and who wrote them; and we know that his testimony is true.
25 Feꞌe hambu dalaꞌ hetar fo Yesus tao. Mete ma atahori rae suraꞌ rala basa e, eniꞌ a mia Yesus nalalao ue-tataon losa basa, na, au duꞌa na raefafoꞌ loa-narun nda fua nala basa buku ra sa. Baꞌuꞌ a naa ena, Yohanis
Indeed, there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that not even the whole world could contain the books that would be written! Amen.
