< Yohanis 13 >

1 Leleꞌ fai malole Paska nda feꞌe mulai sa, Yesus bubꞌuluꞌ ena oi, Eni fain losa ena, fo Eni musi lao hela raefafoꞌ ia, fo baliꞌ nisiꞌ Aman sia sorga. Te Ana sue naseliꞌ atahori nara mana sia raefafoꞌ ia, losa Ana fee masodꞌan teme-ao neu se.
Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus, knowing that his hour had come that he should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, loved them unto the end.
2 Leleꞌ naa, nitu ra malanggan, dunggu-mbau Yudas, naeni Simon Iskariot anan, fo seo hendi Yesus.
And supper being served, —the Devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray him, —
3 Yesus bubꞌuluꞌ ena nae, Lamatualain mana denu Eni raefafoꞌ nema, de mbei fai te Eni musi heoꞌ baliꞌ nisiꞌ Lamatualain.
he, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and was going to God,
4 Basa ma Yesus fela mia mei a, de olu hendi badꞌu dean. Boe ma haꞌi nala handuk esa, de paꞌa neu lelebꞌon.
riseth from the supper, and layeth aside his garments, and took a towel, and girded himself.
5 Boe ma ombo oe neu bokor anaꞌ esa. De Ana mulai safe ana mana tungga nara ei nara. Safe basa esa, na Ana ose namadꞌaꞌ nendiꞌ handuk anaꞌ mana nenepaꞌaꞌ sia lelebꞌon.
Then he poureth water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
6 Ana safe esa-esaꞌ ein. Losa Simon Petrus, ma Petrus natane nae, “Papa o mae safe au ei ngga boe, do?”
So he cometh to Simon Peter; who saith to him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
7 Yesus nataa nae, “Leleꞌ ia, nda feꞌe muhine saa fo Au taoꞌ ia sa. Te dei fo muhine.”
Jesus answered and said to him, What I do thou knowest not now, but thou wilt know hereafter.
8 Te Petrus olaꞌ nasapaa nae, “Afiꞌ taꞌo naa, Papa! Au nda nau fee Papa safe ei ngga sa.” Boe ma Yesus nataa nae, “Mete ma Au nda safe umeu ei ma sa na, nda nenepaꞌaꞌ mo Au sa.” (aiōn g165)
Peter saith to him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. (aiōn g165)
9 Boe ma Simon Petrus nataa nae, “Mete ma taꞌo naa, Papa afiꞌ safe akaꞌ ei ngga. Te safe lima ngga no langga ngga boe!”
Simon Peter saith to him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
10 Basa ma Yesus nafadꞌe mbali e nae, “Atahori mana nariu basa ena, parlu safe akaꞌ ein. Huu aon meuꞌ ena. Memaꞌ rala mara meuꞌ ena, te nda basa se meuꞌ sa.”
Jesus saith to him, He that hath bathed needeth not to wash himself, but is wholly clean; and ye are clean, but not all.
11 (Yesus olaꞌ taꞌo naa, huu Ana nahine seka mana nae seo hendi Eni. Naa de Ana nafadꞌe nae, “Nda basa e meuꞌ sa.”)
For he knew who was about to betray him; for this reason he said, Ye are not all clean.
12 Leleꞌ Yesus safe basa ei nara, boe ma Ana olu baliꞌ badun, de neu endoꞌ baliꞌ sia mei a. Basa ma natane se nae, “Ona bee? Leleꞌ Au safe ei mara, hei mihine Au tatao ngga, do hokoꞌ?
So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and placed himself again at the table, he said to them, Know ye what I have done to you?
13 Hei hiiꞌ a moꞌe Au mae, ‘Papa Meser’ ma ‘Lamatuaꞌ’ mana naꞌena hak parenda hei. Naa nandaa ena, huu Au memaꞌ onaꞌ naa.
Ye call me the Teacher, and the Lord; and ye say well; for so I am.
14 Te mete ma hei Meser ma no Lamatuaꞌ ia, safe ei mara onaꞌ ate esa, na, ona bee no hei? Hei esa musi mete-seꞌu esa. Onaꞌ hei o musi safe esa no esa ei nara boe.
If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
15 Huu Au dadꞌi conto fee nggi ena. Au tao taꞌo bee, na, hei o musi tao tungga taꞌo naa boe.
For I have given you an example, that ye also should do as I have done to you.
16 Tebꞌe! Au ufadꞌe nggi. Ate esa nda manaseliꞌ lenaꞌ eni malanggan sa. Ma dedenuꞌ esa nda manaseliꞌ lenaꞌ atahori mana denu e sa.
Truly, truly do I say to you, A servant is not greater than his lord, nor one who is sent greater than he that sent him.
17 Huu hei bubꞌuluꞌ basa dalaꞌ ia ra ena, de hei onton mete ma hei tao tungga taꞌo naa.
If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
18 Au nda olaꞌ soꞌal basa hei sa. Au uhine tebꞌe atahori fo tengga alaꞌ ra. Mae onaꞌ na o, naa musi dadꞌi, onaꞌ; saa fo nenesuraꞌ memaꞌ sia Lamatualain Susura Meumaren oi, ‘Atahori mana endoꞌ naa naꞌabꞌue no Au, ana hiruꞌ nasadꞌea lao hela Au ena.’
I speak not of you all; I know whom I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, “He that eateth bread with me, hath lifted up his heel against me.”
19 Au ufadꞌe memaꞌ neu nggi, dei fo mete ma atahori lao hela Au onaꞌ naa, na, ama mimihere mae, Au ia, Kristus.
I tell you now before it hath come to pass, that when it hath come to pass ye may believe that I am He.
20 Tebꞌe! Au o ufadꞌe ae, seka mana soi ralan fo simbo no maloleꞌ atahori fo Au denuꞌ a, na, eni simbo Au boe.
Truly, truly do I say to you, He that receiveth whomever I send, receiveth me; and he that receiveth me, receiveth him who sent me.
Having said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Truly, truly do I say to you, that one of you will betray me.
22 Rena onaꞌ naa, ma Ana mana tungga nara esa mete esa, huu ara bingun.
The disciples therefore looked at one another, doubting of whom he spoke.
23 Sia naa hambu sira esa, fo Yesus sueꞌ a (naeni au, Yohanis, mana suraꞌ buku ia). Au endoꞌ sia Yesus bobꞌoan.
There was reclining on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
24 Boe ma Simon Petrus sein nendiꞌ langgan, fo utane sobꞌa Yesus masud na, see.
To him therefore Simon Peter maketh a sign, and saith to him, Tell who it is of whom he is speaking.
He, therefore, leaning back on the breast of Jesus, saith to him, Lord, who is it?
26 Boe ma Yesus nataa nae, “Taꞌo ia. Au ae haꞌi roti bibꞌiaꞌ esa, fo boroꞌ manggo rala neu, basa na Au fee neu atahori fo Au masud ngga.” Ana boroꞌ nala roti a, ma Ana fee neu Yudas, naeni Simon Iskariot anan.
Jesus answereth, It is he for whom I shall dip the morsel and give it to him. Having therefore dipped the morsel, he taketh and giveth it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
27 Simbo nala roti a, ma nitu a malanggan masoꞌ nisiꞌ Yudas. Boe ma Yesus nafadꞌe neu e nae, “Lai-lai leo! Mae tao saa, na, tao leo. Afiꞌ doo-doo fai.”
And after the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus therefore saith to him, What thou doest, do quickly.
Now no one at the table knew for what intent he said this to him.
29 Huu Yudas naa sira mana toꞌu doin, de ruma duꞌa Yesus masud naa faꞌ ra leleꞌ Ana denu Yudas, “Muu hasa saa fo hita parlu taa sia fefeta Paska ia.” Ma ruma o duꞌa Eni masud na, “Muu fee doiꞌ mbei neu mana tudꞌa-loloeꞌ ra.”
For some thought, because Judas kept the purse, that Jesus said to him, Buy what we need for the feast; or that he should give something to the poor.
30 Leleꞌ Yudas simbo nala roti a, ma ana lao lai-lai dea neu. Leleꞌ ana dea neu, te hatuꞌ ena.
He then, having received the morsel, went out immediately; and it was night.
31 Leleꞌ Yudas dea neu, ma Yesus nafadꞌe nae, “Au ia, Atahori Matetuꞌ a. Leleꞌ ia, fain losa ena fo Lamatualain soꞌu nananaru Au. Ma naa o tao atahori mete-rita Lamatualain manaselin.
When therefore he had gone out, Jesus saith, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
32 Huu Au nenepaꞌaꞌ o Lamatualain, ma utudꞌu manaselin, naa de Ana soꞌu nananaru Au. Ana nda nahati doo-doo sa ena.
If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and will immediately glorify him.
33 Ana nggara, e!
My children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye will seek me; and, as I said to the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come, so now I say to you.
34 Au fee nggi parenda feuꞌ esa, taꞌo ia: hei musi esa sue-lai esa, onaꞌ Au sue nggi boe. Dadꞌi hei o musi esa sue esa.
A new commandment I give you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 Mete ma hei esa sue esa onaꞌ naa, na, basa atahori bisa bubꞌuluꞌ rae, hei ia, Au ana mana tungga ngga ra.”
By this will all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one for another.
Simon Peter saith to him, Lord, whither dost thou go? Jesus answered, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou wilt follow me afterward.
37 Petrus natane nae, “Papa, e! Taꞌo bee de au nda feꞌe bisa uu leleꞌ ia sa? Huu au uhehere fo mate fee Papa ena!”
Peter saith to him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thee.
38 Yesus nataa nae, “Tebꞌe, do? Mae fee masodꞌam fo mate soaꞌ neu Au? Matetun, taꞌo ia: manu a nda feꞌe koꞌokee sa, te mufunii Au lao telu ena.”
Jesus answereth, Wilt thou lay down thy life for me? Truly, truly do I say to thee, A cock will not crow, till thou hast thrice denied me.
