Galatia 4
1 Au fee conto esa fai. Anaꞌ sa naꞌena hak simbo hata-hetoꞌ mia aman, mete ma aman mate. Te mete ma too na nda feꞌe dai sa, nda bisa simbo hata-hetoꞌ naa, mae basa naa dei fo dadꞌi eni enan. Te mete ma toon nda feꞌe dai sa, eni onaꞌ ate nda naꞌena hak fo haꞌi malanggan hata-heto nara sa.
And I say, now as much time as the heir is a child, he differs nothing from a servant, [though] being lord of all,
2 Huu naa, musi hambu atahori mete-seꞌu e no hata-heto nara. Anaꞌ naa musi tungga mana mete-seꞌu a hihii-nanaun, losa faiꞌ fo aman naꞌetuꞌ nalaꞌ, dei fo ana feꞌe bisa simbo hata-heton.
but is under tutors and stewards until the time appointed of the father,
3 Hita o onaꞌ naa boe. Leleꞌ Yesus Kristus nda feꞌe nema sa, hita feꞌe onaꞌ anadꞌikiꞌ naa. Huu hita feꞌe nenepaꞌaꞌ to raefafoꞌ a hihii-nanaun onaꞌ ate sa.
so we also, when we were children, were in servitude under the elements of the world,

and when the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, come of a woman, come under law,
that He may redeem those under law, that we may receive the adoption as sons;

and because you are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

So that you are no longer a servant, but a son, and if a son, also an heir of God through Christ.

But then, indeed, having not known God, you were in servitude to those [that are] not by nature gods,

and now, having known God—and rather being known by God—how [do] you turn again to the weak and poor elements to which you desire anew to be in servitude?
10 Au rena oi, hei tao tungga hohoro-lalaneꞌ tungga fai, fulan, ma too, fo mae sobꞌa tao Lamatualain ralan namahoꞌo.
You observe days, and months, and times, and years!
11 Ia tao au duꞌa sosonat! Seꞌu-seꞌu te au bꞌengge unori nggi doon seli ena, te parsumaꞌ a.
I am afraid for you, lest I labored in vain for you.
12 Toronoo susue nggara e! Au hule fo misodꞌa nenemboꞌit mia dalaꞌ naa ra, onaꞌ au ia. Huu au usodꞌa nenemboꞌit mia agama hohoro-lalanen ena, onaꞌ hei nda atahori Yahudi ra sa. Feꞌesaꞌan, leleꞌ hita taꞌabꞌue, hei nda miꞌisususaꞌ au sa.
I implore you, brothers, become as I [am]—because I also [am] as you; you did not hurt me;
13 Basa hei bubꞌuluꞌ, leleꞌ au uma dui-bꞌengga Hara-lii Maloleꞌ neu hei fefeun, au mamahedꞌiꞌ.
and you have known that through weakness of the flesh I proclaimed good news to you at the first,
14 Onaꞌ naa o, hei nda oi au sa, huu hei simbo au, onaꞌ au ia, Lamatualain aten mia sorga. Lelenan fai, hei simbo au, onaꞌ au ia, Yesus Kristus.
and you did not despise nor reject my trial that [is] in my flesh, but you received me as a messenger of God—as Christ Jesus;

what then was your blessedness? For I testify to you, that if possible, having plucked out your eyes, you would have given [them] to me;

so have I become your enemy, being true to you?
17 Mana peko-lelekoꞌ ra nda nau au uꞌubꞌue o nggi sa, de ara manggate kokoe nggi, fo tungga basa atahori Yahudi ra agaman hohoro-lalanen. Ara nau hei mbute-mue tunggaꞌ a hihii-nanau nara.
They are zealous for you—[yet] not well, but they wish to shut us out, that you may be zealous for them;
18 De mete ma hei manggate tao dꞌala maloleꞌ, naa malole boe! Mae au uꞌubꞌue ꞌo hei, do hokoꞌ o, taoꞌ a maloleꞌ.
and [it is] good to be zealously regarded, in what is good, at all times, and not only in my being present with you;
19 Ana susue nggara e! Ia na, au tao-ues ita mamate ngga fee nggi, de au doidꞌoso onaꞌ inaꞌ mana namedꞌa nae bꞌonggi. Ma au nda uloeꞌ tao ues sa, losa rala mara dadꞌi onaꞌ Kristus ralan.
my little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ may be formed in you,
20 Te ia na, au nda itaꞌ ae tao nggi taꞌo bee sa boe! Au hii ae eti olaꞌ mataꞌ o nggi, naa fo au afi olaꞌ deres taꞌo ia.
indeed I was wishing to be present with you now, and to change my voice, because I am in doubt about you.
21 Mete ma hei mae misodꞌa tungga atahori Yahudi ra agaman hohoro-lalanen, malole lenaꞌ hei mihine hohoro-lalaneꞌ a sosoan dꞌei.
Tell me, you who are willing to be under law, do you not hear the Law?
22 Te sia Lamatuaꞌ susura Meumaren dui soꞌal sira baꞌi Abraham na ana toun rua. Ana hambu anaꞌ esa mia aten, ma anaꞌ esa mia sao kabꞌin na, fo nda ate sa.
For it has been written that Abraham had two sons, one by the maidservant and one by the free [woman],
23 Ate naa, bꞌonggi nala anan, huu tungga atahori hihii-nanaun. Te sao kabꞌin na bꞌonggi nala anan, huu Lamatualain helu-fuli memaꞌ taꞌo naa neu Abraham ena.
but he who [is] of the maidservant has been according to flesh, but he who [is] of the free [woman], through the promise,

which things are allegorized, for these are the two covenants: one, indeed, from Mount Sinai, bringing forth to servitude, which is Hagar;

for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the Jerusalem that now [is], and is in servitude with her children,

and the Jerusalem above is the free [woman], which is mother of us all,

for it has been written: “Rejoice, O barren, who is not bearing; break forth and cry, you who are not travailing, because many [are] the children of the desolate—more than of her having the husband.”
28 De toronoo nggara e! Lele uluꞌ a Lamatualain helu-fuli fo fee Abraham anaꞌ. Te dooꞌ dei de Lamatualain natetu hehelu-fufulin, fo fee Sara bꞌonggi Isak fee Abraham. Hita o onaꞌ Isak boe, huu Lamatualain helu-fuli fee tititi-nonosiꞌ laen fee Abraham.
And we, brothers, as Isaac, are children of promise,

but as he then who was born according to the flesh persecuted him [born] according to the Spirit, so also now;
30 Lamatualain Susura Meumaren suraꞌ oi, “Mbuu hendi ate a no anan. Huu ate a anan nda naꞌena hak simbo hata-hetoꞌ sa. Akaꞌ sao kabꞌin a anan naꞌena hak.”
but what does the Writing say? “Cast forth the maidservant and her son, for the son of the maidservant may not be heir with the son of the free [woman]”;
31 De taꞌo ia, toronoo nggara e! Hita nda onaꞌ ate a anan sa, huu hita nda afiꞌ toꞌu tahereꞌ agama Yahudi hohoro-lalanen sa. Te hita ia, ona Abraham anan mia sao kabꞌin na, huu hita tamahere neu Yesus Kristus.
then, brothers, we are not a maidservant’s children, but the free [woman’s].
