< Efesus 2 >
1 Dꞌalahulun, hei milena-langga neu Lamatualain parendan nara, ma tao salaꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ. Naa de Ana nae hei onaꞌ atahori mates.
Also you—being dead in trespasses and sins,
2 Dꞌalahulun, misodꞌa tunggaꞌ a raefafoꞌ ia hihiin, ma tungga nitu ra malanggan hihiin. Losa faiꞌ ia, nitu naa feꞌe kokoe atahori, fo labꞌan Lamatualain. (aiōn )
in which you once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn )
3 Maꞌahulun, hita masodꞌa tara onaꞌ naa boe. Losa saa fo hita medꞌa, do, duꞌa, hita tao tunggaꞌ a hihii-nanau tara. Hita tao deꞌulakaꞌ onaꞌ atahori laen ra boe, naa de Lamatualain namanasa hita seli,
among whom we also all walked once in the desires of our flesh, doing the wishes of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath—as also the others,
4 ma Ana nae hita o onaꞌ atahori mates mana dꞌinggoꞌ hela E. Onaꞌ naa o, Ana kasian nggita, huu Ana sue naseliꞌ nggita. Naa de Ana natudꞌu rala malolen ma fee Yesus Kristus nema nendi masodꞌa feuꞌ soaꞌ neu hita. Dadꞌi Lamatuaꞌ mana fee masoi-masodꞌaꞌ neu nggita, huu rala malolen.
but God, being rich in kindness, because of His great love with which He loved us,
even being dead in the trespasses, made us alive together with the Christ (by grace you are saved),
6 Yesus Kristus mate, te Lamatualain tao nasodꞌa baliꞌ E. Boe ma Lamatuaꞌ soꞌu E toꞌu parendaꞌ sia sorga. Lamatuaꞌ o tao onaꞌ naa neu nggita boe. Ana fee masodꞌa feuꞌ neu nggita, basa ma ana soꞌu nggita, fo toꞌu parendaꞌ taꞌabꞌue too Kristus sia sorga.
and raised [us] up together, and sat [us] together in the heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus,
7 No taꞌo naa, eniꞌ a faiꞌ ia losa doo nduꞌu-doon neu, Lamatuaꞌ natudꞌu susuen naen seli, ma rala malole maselin, huu tamahere neu Yesus Kristus. (aiōn )
that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, (aiōn )
8 Leleꞌ hei mimihere Kristus, Lamatualain fee masoi-masodꞌaꞌ neu nggi huu rala malolen. Ana fee masodꞌaꞌ onaꞌ naa, nda neu bala-bꞌaeꞌ soaꞌ neu saa fo hei taoꞌ a sa. Naa babꞌanggiꞌ fo Ana fee neu nggi dꞌeo-dꞌeo, naa fo hei nda hambu dalaꞌ fo koa saa fo hei taoꞌ a sa.
for by grace you are saved, through faith, and this [is] not of yourselves—[it is] the gift of God,
not of works, that no one may boast;
10 Hita sia, huu Lamatualain naꞌadꞌadꞌadꞌiꞌ nggita. Basa ma, Yesus Kristus fee masodꞌa feuꞌ neu nggita, naa fo hita bisa tao dala maloleꞌ fo Lamatuaꞌ naꞌetuꞌ memaꞌ eniꞌ a dꞌalahulun.
for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus on good works, which God prepared before, that we may walk in them.
11 Toronoo nggara e! Hei bubꞌuluꞌ, atahori Yahudi ra toꞌu rahereꞌ sira atoran sunat na, ma ara raloe-radꞌae hei atahori nda Yahudi ra sa. Huu hei nda tungga sira atoran nara sa! Tao-tao te naa akaꞌ atoran soꞌal atahori ao-sisin, nda soꞌal atahori ralan sa.
For this reason, remember, that you [were] once the nations in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that called Circumcision in the flesh made by hands,
12 Leleꞌ hei nda feꞌe mimihere Yesus Kristus sa, hei nda miꞌena hak masoꞌ dadꞌi Lamatualain atahorin sa. Te feꞌesaꞌan, hei nda feꞌe masoꞌ sia Lamatualain helu-fulin no Abraham, ma tititi-nonosi nara sa. Leleꞌ naa, hei leo sia raefafoꞌ ia ma nda bisa mimihena Lamatualain sa, huu hei feꞌe dadꞌi atahori feaꞌ,
that you were at that time apart from Christ, having been alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope, and without God in the world;
13 mana maꞌadꞌooꞌ mo Lamatualain. Te ia na, Yesus Kristus soi dalaꞌ fo hei bisa miꞌibꞌue mo Lamatulain ena. Huu Kristus mate de tao maꞌasufu Lamatuaꞌ ralan, fo hei bisa badꞌame mo E, ma bisa dadꞌi atahorin boe.
but now, in Christ Jesus, you being once far off became near in the blood of the Christ,
14 Maꞌahulun, hai atahori Yahudi nda bisa misodꞌa badꞌame mo hei mia nusaꞌ laen ra sa. Onaꞌ hambu tembok mana tao hita saranggaa. Te huu Yesus Kristus mate sia hau ngganggeꞌ, de Ana naseaꞌ hendi tembok naa, fo hita mana bamusuꞌ maꞌahulun bisa badꞌame baliꞌ dadꞌi nusaꞌ esa.
for He is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of the partition of hostility,
15 Te dꞌalahulun, atahori Yahudi ra sangga dalaꞌ fo rasodꞌa malole ro Lamatuaꞌ rendiꞌ sira agaman atoran nara. Te leleꞌ Yesus Kristus mate, Ana nggari hendi dꞌala mbaraaꞌ de soi dꞌala feuꞌ, naa fo atahori mia nusa Yahudi ro atahori nusaꞌ laen ra, bisa rasodꞌa maloleꞌ ro Lamatualain. No taꞌo naa, basa se raꞌabꞌue reu esa dadꞌi nusa feuꞌ sa mana rasodꞌa no mole-dꞌame.
the enmity in His flesh, having done away [with] the Law of the commands in ordinances, that He might create the two into one new man in Himself, making peace,
16 Dadꞌi Kristus mate sia hau ngganggeꞌ, fo tao mana bamusuꞌ ra dadꞌi reu esa, ma no baliꞌ se risiꞌ Lamatualain. Huu Kristus sapu hendi basaꞌ e fo maꞌahulun mana dadꞌi neu dalaꞌ, de ramusuꞌ ena.
and might reconcile both in one body to God through the Cross, having slain the enmity by it,
17 Ana raefafoꞌ nema nendi Hara-lii Maloleꞌ fee atahori Yahudi ma atahori laen ra boe nae, “Dꞌalahulun hei bamusuꞌ, te ia na hambu dalaꞌ fo misodꞌa esa dꞌame no esa.”
and having come, He proclaimed good news—peace to you—the far-off and the near,
18 De hai atahori Yahudi ma hei atahori nda Yahudi ra sa, hita hambu dalaꞌ tisiꞌ Ama Lamatualain, huu Yesus soi dalaꞌ fee basa hita ena. Ma Lamatualain Dula-dꞌale Meumaren o natudꞌu dalaꞌ naa neu basa hita.
because through Him we have the access—we both—in one Spirit to the Father.
19 Huu Yesus Kristus tataon naa, de hei atahori nda Yahudi ra sa, nda atahori feaꞌ ra sa ena, fo mana nda naꞌena hak saa-saa sa boe. Huu ia na, hei hambu hak dadꞌi rauinggu sia sorga, huu hei masoꞌ dadꞌi Lamatualain bobꞌonggin ena.
Then, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens of the holy ones, and of the household of God,
20 Naa onaꞌ Lamatualain nae naririi ume sa. Ana tao fatu netehuuꞌ, naeni Yesus Kristus. Boe ma nafefela fanderen, naeni mana ola-ola nara ro dedꞌenu nara. Basa ma, Ana dꞌama fatu ra reu ata. Fatu naa ra, naeni basa hita mana masoꞌ dadꞌi bobꞌonggin.
being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being chief corner-[stone],
in whom all the building fitly framed together increases to a holy temple in the LORD,
22 De ia na, Lamatualain tao fo hei atahori nda Yahudi ra sa dadꞌi onaꞌ fatu, onaꞌ hai atahori Yahudi ra. Lamatualain naꞌatotodꞌoꞌ basa hita, dadꞌi mamana leleoꞌ soaꞌ neu Dula-dꞌalen ena.
in whom you also are built together, for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
