< 2 Korintus 7 >

1 Toronoo susue nggara e! Huu Lamatuaꞌ helu-fuli basa dalaꞌ ia ra fee neu nggita, naeni de ata musi tao tameu rala tara ma masodꞌa tara. Afi hela manggenggeoꞌ mbei boe, leo sia ao tara. Huu hita nau dadꞌi meuꞌ parsen natun esa fee neu Lamatuaꞌ, fo tatudꞌu tae, hita tamatau ma fee hadꞌa-hormat neu E.
Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Toronoo nggara, e! Fee hai kakaꞌeꞌ. Soi rala mara fo simbo hai no malole. Afiꞌ miꞌiteme rala mara. Huu dalahulun, leleꞌ hai sia hei taladꞌa mara, hai nda tao mita salaꞌ neu atahori esa sa boe. Hai nda kokoe mita atahori fo tao salaꞌ sa.
Open your hearts to us. We wronged no one. We corrupted no one. We took advantage of no one.
De mae taꞌo bee o, itaꞌ hai mate do masodꞌaꞌ o, hai nenefutu-paꞌaꞌ mo nggi.
I say this not to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts to die together and live together.
4 Ia naa au nda dudꞌuꞌa sa ena, huu umuhere neu nggi. Au o olaꞌ koao soꞌal hei. Hei o tao manggatee rala ngga boe. Dadꞌi itaꞌ mae hai hambu sususaꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ o, au rala ngga namahoꞌo nakandooꞌ a, huu hei.
Great is my boldness of speech toward you. Great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I overflow with joy in all our affliction.
Hai o mireresi mo atahori deaꞌ ra boe. Hai mimedꞌa nemetaus sia rala mara.
For even when we had come into Macedonia, our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side. Fightings were outside. Fear was inside.
Dadꞌi Ana tao manggatee hai rala mara leleꞌ Ana haitua Titus nema.
Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
7 Titus neneman naa tao manggatee hai rala mara. Huu ana nafadꞌe nae, leleꞌ eni feꞌe sia naa, hei tao manggatee eni ralan. Rena taꞌo naa, naa tao manggatee hai rala mara. Ana o dui soꞌal hei tao saa fo tulu-fali au. Naa de au rala ngga namahoꞌo.
and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you while he told us of your longing, your mourning, and your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced still more.
For though I grieved you with my letter, I do not regret it, though I did regret it. For I see that my letter made you grieve, though just for a while.
Hokoꞌ! Au umuhoꞌo, huu leleꞌ naa, susura ngga kokoe nggi fo doaꞌ leo. Basa ma mitaa sala-kiluꞌ naa, ma lao hela tatao-nonoꞌi nda maloleꞌ naa sa, fo heoꞌ baliꞌ tungga Lamatuaꞌ dala masodꞌa ndoo-tetun. Te Lamatuaꞌ mana tao nggi fale rala mara taꞌo naa. No taꞌo naa, hai susuram tao nggi dadꞌi maloleꞌ.
I now rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved to repentance. For you were grieved in a godly way, that you might suffer loss by us in nothing.
10 Huu mete ma hita fale rala tara tungga Lamatuaꞌ hihii-nanaun, na hita taloeꞌ tao dala deꞌulakaꞌ ra, fo heoꞌ baliꞌ tao dala ndoo-tetuꞌ ra. Naa mana mboꞌi nggita mia Lamatuaꞌ huku-dokin, naa fo hita o sudi boe fale rala tara takandooꞌ a. Te mete ma tae hita fale rala tara te siaꞌ a bafa tara, onaꞌ atahori raefafoꞌ ia biasa nara, dei fo hita tambalutu.
For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death.
11 Hei dudꞌuꞌa sobꞌa! Leleꞌ hei baca au susura ngga, au bubꞌuluꞌ hei fale rala mara boe. Naa tungga Lamatuaꞌ hihii-nanaun. Huu naa tao nggi tao ues mitaꞌ mamate mara fo ena-ai mana hohonggeꞌ a. Hei bengge mo deꞌulakaꞌ naa. Hei o mimitau boe, afiꞌ losa ana tao nakandoo deꞌulakaꞌ naa. Hei hii mae mita au fai, ma mihehere fo taoꞌ a maloleꞌ. Hei o mihehere fo mae huku-doki atahori mana tao salaꞌ a. Huu hei tao ndoo-tetuꞌ taꞌo naa, naa de hei meuꞌ. No taꞌo naa, nda hambu esa fee salaꞌ neu nggi sa boe.
For behold, this same thing, that you were grieved in a godly way, what earnest care it worked in you. Yes, what defense, indignation, fear, longing, zeal, and vindication! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be pure in the matter.
Te au suraꞌ susura naa fee neu nggi, fo utudꞌu ae, hei dedꞌea-oꞌolam sia Lamatuaꞌ matan naa, tetebꞌes. Ma ama sue hai no tetebꞌes.
So although I wrote to you, I wrote not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be revealed in you in the sight of God.
13 Basa ia ra, tao manggatee hai rala mara. Hei o tao manggatee Titus ralan boe, naa fo ralan o teer boe. Naa o tao hai rala mara boe maꞌahee.
Therefore we have been comforted. In our comfort we rejoiced the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.
14 Au soꞌu-soꞌuꞌ ita nggi sia Titus matan soꞌal hei tatao-nonoꞌi malole mara. Au o ufadꞌe e ae, hei nda tao miꞌimamaeꞌ mita au sa. Huu basa dalaꞌ fo hai dui mita neu hei, naa tebꞌe. Ma, basa dalaꞌ fo hai dui soꞌal hei neu Titus, naa o tebꞌe.
For if in anything I have boasted to him on your behalf, I was not disappointed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
15 Dadꞌi mete ma Titus nasanedꞌa hei tao tungga au parenda ngga, naa ana boe sue nggi. Ana o nasanedꞌa leleꞌ eni naa neti, ama simbo e no hadꞌa-hormat.
His affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembers all of your obedience, how with fear and trembling you received him.
16 Au rala ngga namahoꞌo, huu au umuhere nggi sia basa dalaꞌ ra. De au nda duꞌa-duꞌaꞌ nggi sa ena.
I rejoice that in everything I am confident concerning you.
