< 2 Korintus 1 >
1 Susura ia mia au, Paulus. Lamatualain denu au uu sia bee-bꞌee fo ufadꞌe atahori ra soꞌal Yesus Kristus, fo Lamatuaꞌ dudꞌu memaꞌ mia lele uluꞌ a. Hita odꞌin Timotius o sia ia boe. Ana helu hara sodꞌa-moleꞌ.
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, through the will of God, and Timothy the brother, —unto the assembly of God which is in Corinth, together with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:
2 Au hule-oꞌe mbali Lamatualain, naeni hita Aman, no Yesus Kristus, naeni hita Lamatuan. Au hule fo ratudꞌu rala malole nara neu nggi, naa fo misodꞌa no nee-nee lino-lino ma mole-dame.
Favour unto you, and peace, from God [our] Father, and Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Hai hiiꞌ a basa atahori soꞌu rananaru Lamatualain naran. Huu Eni, hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus Aman. Basa rala susueꞌ ra raꞌoka mia Eni, boe ma Eni hiiꞌ a tao manggatee rala tara.
Blessed, be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions, and God of all encouragement,
Naeni de hita o bisa tao tamahoꞌo atahori laen mana hambu sususaꞌ. Hita bisa tao manggatee rala nara, onaꞌ Lamatuaꞌ tao manggatee rala tara boe.
Who encourageth us in all our tribulation, to the end we may be able to encourage them who are in any tribulation—through means of the encouragement wherewith we, ourselves, are encouraged by God.
5 Kristus hambu sususaꞌ naen seli fee hita ena. Dadꞌi, huu Kristus namedꞌa doidꞌosoꞌ mataꞌ naa ena, naeni de mete ma hita hambu sususaꞌ na, Ana tao manggatee rala tara.
Because, even as the sufferings of the Christ overflow unto us, so, through the Christ, overfloweth, our encouragement also.
Huu mete ma hei hambu sususaꞌ onaꞌ hai boe, Lamatuaꞌ tao manggatee rala mara, fo ama bisa miꞌitataaꞌ no rala nemehoꞌot.
But, whether we are in tribulation, it is for your encouragement and salvation; whether we are encouraged, it is for your encouragement, which worketh inwardly by the endurance of the same sufferings which, we also, suffer; —
And so, our hope, is sure in your behalf, —knowing that, —as ye are sharers of the sufferings, so, also of the encouragement.
8 Toronoo nggara e! Hai medꞌa beran seli, lenaꞌ hai aru-lelembam. De helaꞌ a mbei fo hai masaloe, huu duꞌa mae, hai maeꞌ a mate ena.
For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, as to our tribulation which happened in Asia, —that, exceedingly, beyond power, were we weighed down, so that we despaired, even of life.
9 Hai o medꞌa beran seli, onaꞌ atahori sa feꞌe na rena mana maꞌetuꞌ dedꞌeat naꞌetuꞌ hukun mate neu e. Te basa naa ra dadꞌi, fo tamahere neu Lamatualain, afiꞌ tamahere neu ao tara. Te Lamatuaꞌ naa, naꞌena koasa fo tao nasodꞌa baliꞌ atahori mates ra.
But, we ourselves, within ourselves, have had the sentence of death, that we might not rest our confidence upon ourselves, but upon God, who raiseth the dead,
10 Eni mana mboꞌi nggita mia deꞌulakaꞌ, leleꞌ taeꞌ a mate. Dei fo Eni o nau mboꞌi nggita mia deꞌulakaꞌ. Hita tamahena tahereꞌ tae, dei fo Ana mboꞌi nggita mia dala deꞌulakaꞌ ra nakandooꞌ a
Who, out of so great a death, rescued us, and will rescue, —unto whom we have turned our hope, [that], even yet, he will rescue:
11 Mete ma hei hule-oꞌe mikindooꞌ a fee hai, naa o tulu-fali hai boe, te Lamatualain nae tao fee hai dala maloleꞌ hetar. Ana nae tao taꞌo naa, huu atahori hetar hule-oꞌe fee hai. Ma leleꞌ atahori hetar rasanedꞌa hai, na ara roꞌe makasi naen seli neu E.
Ye also labouring together on our behalf, by your supplication, that, unto many persons, being due the gift of favour, unto us, through means of many, might thanks be given in our behalf.
12 Hai bisa olaꞌ koao, huu hai bubꞌuluꞌ sia rala mara mae, saa fo hai tao sia raefafoꞌ ia, tungga Lamatuaꞌ hihiin fee hai. Hai nda dinggoꞌ hela ue-tataos naa sa, naa fo basa atahori rita hai ue-tao no rala meuꞌ.
For, our boasting, is, this, —the witness of our conscience, that, in sanctity and sincerity of God, [and] not in fleshly wisdom, but in God’s favour, have we behaved ourselves in the world, —and more abundantly towards you.
13 Au suraꞌ fee nggiꞌ a soꞌal dala-dalaꞌ fo ama bisa baca ma mihine. Ia naa hei mihine au masud ngga ruma ena. Te au umuhena, dei fo hei mihine no matetu-manadꞌaiꞌ.
For, no other things, are we writing unto you, than what ye are either reading or even acknowledging, —I hope, moreover, that, throughout, ye will acknowledge,
14 Ia naa, hei feꞌe mihine mbeiꞌ a soꞌal hai. Te dei fo, mete ma hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus baliꞌ nema, na, au umuhere hei mihine naeꞌ ena. No taꞌo naa, hei bisa olaꞌ koao soꞌal hai, onaꞌ hai o olaꞌ koao soꞌal hei.
According as ye have also acknowledged us, in part, —that, your theme of boasting, we are, even indeed as, ye, also [shall be], ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.
15 Huu au umuhere hei mihine dalaꞌ ia ra, naa de maꞌahulun au parna uꞌetuꞌ ae eti seluꞌ sia nggi, naa fo ama bisa hambu papala-babꞌanggiꞌ lao rua.
And, in this confidence, I purposed, before, to come unto you, —in order that, a second joy, ye might have, —
16 Dadꞌi dalahulun au duꞌa, mete ma au dadꞌi eti sia profinsi Makedonia, na, au bisa tuli fo seꞌu ita nggi. Basa fo au baliꞌ mia Makedonia, au bisa tuli seluꞌ nggi. No taꞌo naa, hei bisa tulu-fali au, fo au bisa lao ukundoo profinsi Yudea uu. Te au nda dadꞌi tuli hei sa.
And, by your means, to pass into Macedonia, and, again, from Macedonia, to come unto you, and, by you, be set forward unto Judea: —
17 Leleꞌ au ufadꞌe ae, au ae eti seꞌu nggi, au tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ ae eti seꞌu nggi. Au nda uꞌetuꞌ dalaꞌ ia tunggaꞌ a hihii-nanau ngga, onaꞌ atahori laen mana sia raefafoꞌ ia sa. Au nda atahori mana dea-ralaꞌ, mana nataa nae, “Hei” te duꞌa nae “Hokoꞌ.”. Au nda atahori onaꞌ naa sa.
This, then, being my purpose, perhaps, after all, with lightness, I dealt [with the matter]? or, the things that I purpose, according to the flesh, I purpose, —that, with me, should be the Yea, yea, and the Nay, nay?
18 Hita bisa tamahere neu Lamatualain, huu mete ma Ana olaꞌ dalaꞌ sa, na, tantu Ana tao tungga. Naeni de hai o taꞌo naa boe. Mete ma hai mitaa mae, “Hei” na, hai nda duꞌa mae, “Hokoꞌ” sa.
Faithful, however, is God, in that, our discourse, which was [delivered] unto you, is not Yea and Nay;
19 Au, Silas, ma Timotius minori nggi soꞌal Yesus Kristus, Lamatualain Anan.
For, the Son of God, Christ Jesus—who, among you, through us, was proclaimed, —through me, and Silvanus, and Timothy, became not Yea and Nay, —but Yea, in him, hath it become;
Naeni ena! Amin!” Huu, tahine memaꞌ saa fo Yesus nae taoꞌ a. Hai mifadꞌe dalaꞌ ia fo natudꞌu Lamatualain manaselin.
For, how many soever be the promises of God, in him, is the Yea, —wherefore also, through him, [be] the Amen, unto God, for glory, through us.
21 Lamatuaꞌ naa, mana pili nala hei ma hai boe. Eni mana soꞌu nggita dadꞌi atahorin. Eni o mana tao fee nggita taꞌatataaꞌ takandoo.
Now, he that confirmeth us, together with you, for Christ, and hath anointed us, is God:
22 Eni mana fee Dula-dalen nauli nggita, ma natudꞌu duduꞌan fee nggita.
Who also hath sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 Au hule fo Lamatuaꞌ mana dadꞌi sakasii sia oꞌola ngga ia.
But, I, call upon God, as a witness, against my own soul, —that, to spare you, not yet, have I come unto Corinth:
24 Hai nda soꞌu-soꞌuꞌ aom dadꞌi malangga fo denu-denuꞌ nggi mae, hei musi mimihere neu seka.
Not that we have lordship over your faith, but are, helpers, of your joy, for, by your faith, ye stand.
