< 1 Yohanis 2 >

1 Ana susue ngga re! Au suraꞌ fo ufadꞌe basa ia ra, naa fo ama misodꞌa sudꞌi boe tao salaꞌ fai.
My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous.
2 Ana mate dadꞌi tutunu-hohotuꞌ fee neu nggita, fo Lamatualain fee ambon neu sala-kilu tara. Nda fee neu akaꞌ a hita sa, te fee neu basa atahori sia raefafoꞌ ia.
And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
3 Hita bubꞌuluꞌ tae, hita tahine Lamatuaꞌ no malole, mete ma hita tungga Eni parenda nara.
This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commandments.
One who says, “I know him,” and doesn’t keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in him.
5 Te atahori mana tao tungga Lamatua parendan, naa dadꞌi bukti oi, eni sue tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ Lamatuaꞌ ena. No taꞌo naa, hita bubꞌuluꞌ tae, hita ia ra, Lamatuaꞌ atahorin.
But God’s love has most certainly been perfected in whoever keeps his word. This is how we know that we are in him:
6 Dadꞌi mete ma atahori sa olaꞌ nae, “Au usodꞌa uꞌubꞌue o Lamatualain,” na, eni masodꞌan musi onaꞌ Yesus Kristus.
he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked.
7 Ana susue ngga re! Huu parendaꞌ ia memaꞌ sia Lamatuaꞌ Hara-liin fo hei rena mia lele uluꞌ a.
Brothers, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.
Parendaꞌ ia laoꞌ no matetuꞌ sia Yesus masodꞌan ena.
Again, I write a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light already shines.
9 Atahori sa bisa olaꞌ nae, “Au usodꞌa sia manggareloꞌ a.” Te mete ma eni mburu-oeꞌ no toronoon, na, naa dadꞌi tanda oi, eni feꞌe nasodꞌa sia maꞌahatuꞌ a.
He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in the darkness even until now.
10 Huu atahori mana nasodꞌa sia manggareloꞌ a, ana musi sue toronoo nara, ma nda hambu deꞌulaka saa sa boe sia ralan fo naꞌatutudꞌaꞌ e.
He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.
11 Naa de, mete ma hambu atahori mburu-oeꞌ no toronoon, naa dadꞌi tanda oi, eni nasodꞌa sia maꞌahatuꞌ a. Eni laoꞌ hama-hama, huu maꞌahatuꞌ a tao matan poke ena.
But he who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and doesn’t know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
12 Ana ngga re! Au suraꞌ susura ia fee neu nggi, huu Kristus mate soaꞌ neu nggi ena, ma Lamatualain fee ambon neu sala-kilu mara ena.
I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
13 Ina-ama lasiꞌ re! Au suraꞌ susura ia fee neu nggi, huu hei mihine Yesus Kristus, mana sia eniꞌ a lele uluꞌ a. Ana feto-monetenaꞌ re! Au suraꞌ susura ia fee neu nggi, huu hei mitati labꞌan deꞌulaka manaseliꞌ a, losa hei misenggiꞌ e.
I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you know the Father.
14 Ana ngga re! Au suraꞌ susura ia fee neu nggi, huu hei mihine Amaꞌ Lamatualain. Ina-ama lasiꞌ re! Au suraꞌ susura ia fee neu nggi, huu hei mihine Yesus Kristus, mana sia eniꞌ a leleꞌ uluꞌ a. Ana feto-monetenaꞌ re! Au suraꞌ susura ia fee neu nggi, huu hei mbedaꞌ Lamatuaꞌ Hara-liin sia rala mara ena, losa hei dadꞌi maꞌadꞌereꞌ, ma mitati labꞌan deꞌulaka manaseliꞌ a, losa misenggiꞌ e.
I have written to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
15 Hei afiꞌ sue raefafoꞌ hihii-nanaun, ma raefafoꞌ sudꞌiꞌ a saa nara.
Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him.
16 Saa mana sia raefafoꞌ ia nda naꞌena huu-pataꞌ no Lamatualain sa. Dalaꞌ naa ra nda raꞌoka sia Amaꞌ Lamatualain sa. Te raꞌoka siaꞌ a raefafoꞌ a.
For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s.
17 Tao-tao te, dei fo raefafoꞌ ia mopo hendi e, belaꞌ no basa dalaꞌ fo atahori hiiꞌ a sanggaꞌ ra.
The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever. (aiōn g165)
18 Ana ngga re! Fai-fai mateteꞌen deka-deka ena. Hei rena ena oi, atahori mana labꞌan Kristus dei fo sou nema. Tao-tao te ara sia memaꞌ ena. Te hambu mana labꞌan Kristus sia bee-bꞌee ena. Naa dadꞌi tanda oi, fai-fai mateteꞌen deka-deka ena.
Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. By this we know that it is the final hour.
19 Mana labꞌan ra laoꞌ mia hita taladꞌan.
They went out from us, but they didn’t belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.
20 Te hei nda onaꞌ se sa. Huu hei simbo mala Lamatuaꞌ Atahori Meumaren Dula-dalen ena. Ma Ana o tulu-fali nala nggi ena, fo basa nggi mihine dala ndoo-tetuꞌ a.
You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.
21 Seꞌu te hei mae au suraꞌ susura ia, huu au ae neꞌo hei nda mihine dala ndoo-tetuꞌ a sa, do? Hokoꞌ! Huu hei mihine ena, na! Hei mihine bee ndoo-tetuꞌ a, ma bee pepeko-lelekoꞌ.
I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
22 Tao-tao te, hambu mana laka-heseꞌ ra lao-laoꞌ sia raefafoꞌ ia. Taꞌo bee fo bisa tahine se? Sira, naeni atahori mana olaꞌ rae, Yesus naa, nda Kristus sa. Tungga sira, Yesus nda atahori Meumareꞌ fo Lamatuaꞌ helu memaꞌ fo nae haitua nemaꞌ a. Atahori mana olaꞌ raꞌo naa, labꞌan Kristus, huu ara nda simbo Amaꞌ Lamatualain no Anan sa.
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.
Whoever denies the Son doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.
24 Dadꞌi hei musi toꞌu mikindoo saa fo rena mia lele uluꞌ a. No taꞌo naa, hei nenepaꞌaꞌ mikindoo mo Amaꞌ Lamatualain no Anan.
Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.
25 Ana o helu-fuli no nggita nae, dei fo hita tasodꞌa takandoo to E. (aiōnios g166)
This is the promise which he promised us, the eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
26 Au suraꞌ susura ia fo mihine soꞌal atahori rae eꞌedik nggi.
These things I have written to you concerning those who would lead you astray.
27 Hei simbo Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dale Meumaren ena, ma hei o misodꞌa miꞌibꞌue mo E ena. Dadꞌi hei nda parlu atahori laen ranori nggi sa ena. Huu Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dalen dai ena, huu Ana bisa nanori basa dala ndoo-tetuꞌ ra. Ana nda peko-lelekoꞌ, onaꞌ mana eꞌedik naa ra sa. Dadꞌi toꞌu mihereꞌ neu saa fo Ana nanoriꞌ a ena, fo hei misodꞌa ralaꞌ esa mikindoo mo Kristus.
As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
28 Taꞌo ia, ana ngga re! Hei musi misodꞌa miꞌibꞌue mikindoo mo Kristus. Naa fo Ana baliꞌ nema, na, hei nda mimitau ma mae-maeꞌ mimbiriꞌ sia matan sa.
Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
29 Huu hei bubꞌuluꞌ mae, Ana soa taoꞌ a ndoo-tetuꞌ ra, naeni de hei o bisa bubꞌuluꞌ mae, basa atahori mana tao tungga ndoo-tetuꞌ ra, ara o dadꞌi Lamatuaꞌ ana nara boe.
If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.
