< 1 Korintus 1 >
1 Susura ia mia au, Paulus. Lamatualain pili nala au ena dadꞌi Yesus Kristus dedꞌenun. Ma aꞌa Sostenes o haitua hara sodꞌa-moleꞌ fee nggi boe.
Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
2 Au suraꞌ susura ia fee nggi, naeni Lamatualain atahori mamahere nara sia kota Korintus. Ana pili nala nggi ena dadꞌi Eni atahori meumaren, huu ama mimihere Yesus Kristus ena. Ana o tao nameu nggi onaꞌ basa atahori mamahereꞌ laen ra sia bee-bꞌee. Ara o roꞌe tutulu-fafaliꞌ mia hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus, fo Lamatualain helu memaꞌ mia lele uluꞌ a nae haitua nema. Boe ma, Eni dadꞌi hita to sira Lamatuan mana naꞌena hak parenda basa nggita.
to the church of God in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be saints, together with all who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:
3 Au hule-oꞌe neu Lamatualain, hita Aman, no Yesus Kristus, hita Lamatuan. Au oꞌe fo ratudꞌu Sira rala malole nara neu nggi, fo misodꞌa no mole-dame.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 Leleꞌ au usunedꞌa nggi, au ola-olaꞌ o Lamatualain ngga ae, “Makasi naen seli soaꞌ neu atahori Korintus ra nemehere nara!” Lamatualain natudꞌu rala malolen neu nggi, huu mimihere mikindoo neu Yesus Kristus, fo Ana haitua nemaꞌ a.
I always give thanks to my God for you because of the grace of God that has been given to you in Christ Jesus.
5 Ma Ana fee nggi bebꞌeꞌi-baraꞌaiꞌ fo bisa milalao basa ue-tataos mata-mataꞌ, huu ama nenepaꞌaꞌ mo Eni ena. Naa tao rala mara ramasuꞌi. Hei o bubꞌuluꞌ dalaꞌ saa malolen seli fo nefadꞌe atahori soꞌal Kristus.
For you have been enriched in him in every way, in all speech and all knowledge,
6 Naa natudꞌu oi, dala-dalaꞌ fo hai mifadꞌe neu nggi soꞌal Kristus naa, naꞌoka nahereꞌ sia rala mara ena. Naeni de hei feꞌe mimihere mae, dalaꞌ naa ra tebꞌe.
just as the testimony of Christ was confirmed among you,
7 De hei simbo basa dala maloleꞌ ra ena, fo Lamatualain Dula-dalen banggi fee neu atahori nara ena. Nda toꞌa saa sa boe.
so that you are not lacking in any gift as you eagerly await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
8 Kristus naa, mana nae tao maꞌadꞌere nggi fo ama miꞌitataaꞌ mikindoo losa Ana baliꞌ raefafoꞌ ia nema. No taꞌo naa, hei nda tudꞌa sa, ma nda hambu atahori bisa raꞌatutudꞌaꞌ nggi sa, ma nda hambu atahori bisa fua salaꞌ neu nggi sa.
He will strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 Hita bisa tamahere Lamatualain Dedꞌea-oꞌolan, huu Ana olaꞌ saa, na Ana tao e dadꞌi. Dei fo Ana nau tao dalaꞌ ia ra fee neu nggi. Huu Eni mana soi dalaꞌ fo hei mihine malolole Anan, naeni hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus.
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
10 Toronoo susue nggara, e! Sia dalaꞌ ia, au olaꞌ endiꞌ hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus naran. De au hule no tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ fo ama miloeꞌ mireresi leo. Ma ama usaha fo misodꞌa no ralaꞌ esa, afiꞌ sea-saranggaa. Ama musi dudꞌuꞌa naruꞌ ona esaꞌ, naa fo ama bisa mihine mae, hei toꞌu dudꞌuꞌat esaꞌ a.
Now I urge you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be knit together in the same mind and in the same purpose.
11 Huu hambu atahori mia teꞌo Kloe ume isi nara rema rafadꞌe au rae, hei ruma akaꞌ mireresi mikindooꞌ a.
For it has been disclosed to me about you, my brothers, by those of Chloe's household, that there are quarrels among you.
12 Au masud ngga taꞌo ia: hambu hei ruma mae, “Au ia, Paulus atahorin!” Boe ma hambu ruma rae, “Au ia, Apolos atahorin!” Ma ruma fai ola-olaꞌ rae, “Au ia, tungga toꞌo Peꞌu!” Ruma fai rae, “Au ia, rena neuꞌ a Kristus!”
What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul,” while another says, “I follow Apollos,” or, “I follow Cephas,” or, “I follow Christ.”
13 Hei dudꞌuꞌa mara taꞌo bee? Kristus bobꞌonggi nara nda bisa saranggaa sa. Do, hei duꞌa mae, au mana mate sia hau ngganggeꞌ ata soaꞌ neu nggi? Hokoꞌ, o! Do, leleꞌ ara sarani nggi, ara ingga au nara ngga fo hei masoꞌ dadꞌi au atahori ngga, do? Neꞌo hokoꞌ, to?
Has Christ been divided? Was Paul crucified for you, or were you baptized into the name of Paul?
Au sarani akaꞌ aꞌa Krispus no aꞌa Gayus.
I give thanks to God that I baptized none of you, except Crispus and Gaius,
15 No taꞌo naa, nda hambu atahori bisa rae, “Ara sarani au rendiꞌ Paulus naran, de au dadꞌi Paulus atahorin.”
so that no one may say that I baptized into my own name.
(I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Beyond that, I do not recall if I baptized anyone else.)
Au ue-tatao huuꞌ ngga, naeni nefadꞌe atahori soꞌal Eni Hara-lii Malolen. Te mete ma au ufadꞌe atahori taꞌo naa, Ana nda hii au olaꞌ endiꞌ dedꞌea madikuꞌ fo utudꞌu mahine ngga, do utudꞌu netehuuꞌ manaseliꞌ ra.
For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, and not with cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be deprived of its power.
18 Hambu atahori duꞌa rae, basa dalaꞌ fo hita dui soꞌal Kristus mamaten sia hau ngganggeꞌ a, naa dedꞌea nggoaꞌ. Te atahori mataꞌ naa, dei fo saranggaa mia Lamatualain. Tao-tao te soaꞌ neu hita, Kristus mamaten naa, natudꞌu Lamatualain koasan mana fee masoi-masodꞌaꞌ neu nggita mia sala-kilu tara.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the intelligence of the intelligent I will nullify.”
20 Lele uluꞌ a, memaꞌ Lamatualain olaꞌ taꞌo naa. Te leleꞌ ia, dadꞌi taꞌo bee ena? Atahori mahineꞌ ra, dadꞌi taꞌo bee? Meser agama ra, dadꞌi taꞌo bee?
Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made the wisdom of this world foolish? (aiōn )
21 Lamatualain mahinen naa, manaseliꞌ tebꞌe. Ana nau fee masoi-masodꞌaꞌ neu atahori mia sala-kilu nara nendiꞌ dalaꞌ naa. Huu atahori Yahudi ra nauꞌ a roꞌe manadadꞌi-manaseliꞌ ra, fo rae rita Lamatualain koasan. Ma atahori Yunani ra nauꞌ renaꞌ a dala-dala mahineꞌ mana masoꞌ dudꞌuꞌat, tunggaꞌ a sira dudꞌuꞌa nara.
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of our proclamation to save those who believe.
For Jews ask for a sign and Greeks seek wisdom,
23 Mae onaꞌ naa o, hai mana dadꞌi Lamatuaꞌ dedꞌenun nara, akaꞌ meu mifadꞌe atahori mae, “Lamatualain haitua Kristus ena, Atahori fo Ana helu eniꞌ a lele uluꞌ a, nae haitua nema. Basa ma atahori laen ra mbaku risa E mia hau ngganggeꞌ ata.” Leleꞌ atahori Yahudi ra rena dudꞌuit naa, ara rae timba hendi e, huu tungga sira dudꞌuꞌa nara na, Atahori fo Lamatualain nae haitua nema naa, nda bisa mate onaꞌ naa sa. Leleꞌ atahori Yunani ra rena dudꞌuit naa, ara duꞌa, “Naa dudꞌui nggoa manaseliꞌ!”
but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Greeks,
24 Te hambu atahori fo Lamatualain heheli nala memaꞌ dadꞌi enan.
but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 Toronoo susue nggara, e! Naa fo hei bisa mihine au oꞌola ngga ia, na ama misinedꞌa hei tetende-nemberii mara leleꞌ Lamatualain pili nala nggi dadꞌi Eni enan. Tungga atahori nile na, na sia hei taladꞌa mara nda hambu atahori mahineꞌ hetar sa, nda atahori masiꞌet hetar sa, ma nda hambu atahori hetar mia tititi-nonosiꞌ mana naꞌena nara moko-monaen.
Consider your calling, brothers, that not many of you were wise according to the flesh, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
28 Boe ma Ana pili nala atahori anadꞌikiꞌ fo nda naꞌena nara moko-monaen sa, ma atahori akaꞌ raloe-radꞌae se. Huu Lamatualain nae pake se fo tao atahori mana nae eni manaseliꞌ, dadꞌi onaꞌ sira nda raꞌena sosoa-ndandaaꞌ saa sa boe.
God chose what is lowly and despised in the world, things that are regarded as nothing, to nullify the things that are regarded as something,
29 De mete ma atahori reu randaa ro Lamatualain, nda hambu atahori esa sa boe bisa toꞌo tendan nae, eni manaseliꞌ.
so that no flesh might boast before God.
30 Huu Lamatualain mesaꞌ ne mana soi dalaꞌ fo ama bisa dadꞌi Yesus Kristus atahorin. Lamatualain mana tao Yesus dadꞌi Atahori mana fee mahinen neu nggita. Yesus naa, mana soi dalaꞌ fo ata bisa badꞌame baliꞌ to Lamatualain. Yesus naa, mana tao hita bisa tasodꞌa ndoos ma meumareꞌ. Boe ma Eni mana mboꞌi nggita mia salaꞌ ra koasan.
It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God, and in whom we have righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.
31 Naa onaꞌ nenesuraꞌ sia Lamatualain Susura Meumaren nae, “Seka hiiꞌ a soꞌu koa-kioꞌ, malole lenaꞌ ara soꞌu koa-kioꞌ neu hita Lamatuan tataon. Afiꞌ soꞌu kokoaꞌ neu ao nara!”
Therefore, as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
