1 Or, în cele ce spunem, principalul este următorul lucru: avem un astfel de mare preot, care a șezut la dreapta tronului Maiestății în ceruri,

12 Căci voi fi milostiv cu nedreptatea lor. Nu-mi voi mai aduce aminte de păcatele lor și de faptele lor nelegiuite.”
For I will have mercy upon their wrong-doings, And their sins I will remember no more."
13 Când zice: “Un legământ nou”, îl face caduc pe cel dintâi. Dar ceea ce devine învechit și îmbătrânește este aproape de dispariție.
