Псалмул 52

1 Пентру че те фэлешть ку рэутатя та, асуприторуле? Бунэтатя луй Думнезеу цине ын вечь.

“For the leader of the music. A psalm of David, when Doeg, the Edomite, came and told Saul, and said to him, David is come to the house of Abimelech.” Why gloriest thou in mischief, thou man of violence? The goodness of God yet continueth daily.

2 Лимба та ну нэскочеште декыт рэутате, ка ун брич аскуцит, виклян че ешть!

Thy tongue deviseth mischief, Like a sharp razor, thou contriver of deceit!

3 Ту юбешть май деграбэ рэул декыт бинеле, май деграбэ минчуна декыт адевэрул.

Thou lovest evil more than good, And to lie more than to speak truth. (Pause)

4 Ту юбешть нумай кувинте нимичитоаре, лимбэ ыншелэтоаре!

Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue!

5 Де ачея ши Думнезеу те ва доборы пе вечие, те ва апука ши те ва ридика дин кортул тэу ши те ва дезрэдэчина дин пэмынтул челор вий.

Thee also shall God utterly destroy! o He shall seize thee, and tear thee from thy dwelling-place, And uproot thee from the land of the living. (Pause)

6 Чей фэрэ приханэ вор ведя лукрул ачеста, се вор теме ши вор рыде де ел, зикынд:

The righteous shall see and fear, And shall laugh at him.

7 „Ятэ омул каре ну луа ка окротитор пе Думнезеу, чи се ынкредя ын богэцииле луй челе марь ши се бизуя пе рэутатя луй.”

“Behold the man that made not God his strength, But trusted in the abundance of his riches, And placed his strength in his wickedness!”

8 Дар еу сунт ын Каса луй Думнезеу ка ун мэслин верде, мэ ынкред ын бунэтатя луй Думнезеу ын вечь де вечь.

But I shall be like a green olive-tree in the house of God; I will trust in the goodness of God for ever and ever.

9 Те вой лэуда тотдяуна пентру кэ ай лукрат ши, ын фаца копиилор Тэй, вой нэдэждуи ын Нумеле Тэу, кэч есте биневоитор.

I will praise thee for ever for what thou hast done; I will trust in thy name, because it is good, Before the eyes of thy godly ones!
