Псалмул 4
1 Рэспунде-мь кынд стриг, Думнезеул неприхэнирий меле, скоате-мэ ла лок ларг кынд сунт ла стрымтораре! Ай милэ де мине, аскултэ-мь ругэчуня!
God, answer me when I pray to you. You are the one who vindicates me; Rescue me from things that distress me. Act mercifully toward me, and listen to me while I pray.
2 Фиий оаменилор, пынэ кынд ва фи батжокоритэ слава мя? Пынэ кынд вець юби дешертэчуня ши вець умбла дупэ минчунь?
How long will you people cause me to be disgraced instead of honoring me [RHQ]? You [people] love to falsely accuse me.
3 Сэ штиць кэ Домнул Шь-а алес ун ом пе каре-л юбеште: Домнул ауде кынд стриг кэтре Ел.
All those who are loyal to Yahweh, he has chosen them to belong to him. Yahweh listens to me when I pray to him.
4 Кутремураци-вэ ши ну пэкэтуиць! Спунець лукрул ачеста ын инимиле воастре кынд стаць ын пат, апой тэчець!
When you people get angry, do not [allow your anger to control you and cause you to] sin. While you lie on your bed, silently examine what you are thinking.
5 Адучець жертфе неприхэните ши ынкредеци-вэ ын Домнул!
Also, offer to Yahweh the proper sacrifices, and continue trusting in him.
6 Мулць зик: „Чине не ва арэта феричиря?” Еу ынсэ зик: „Фэ сэ рэсарэ песте ной лумина Фецей Тале, Доамне!”
Some people ask, “Who will allow good things to happen to us?” [But I say], “Yahweh, continue to act kindly toward us.
7 Ту-мь дай май мултэ букурие ын инима мя, декыт ау ей кынд ли се ынмулцеште родул грыулуй ши ал винулуй.
You have made me very happy; I am happier than people who have harvested a great amount of grain and grapes.
8 Еу мэ кулк ши адорм ын паче, кэч нумай Ту, Доамне, ымь дай линиште деплинэ ын локуинца мя.
I can lie down [at night] and sleep soundly because [I know that] you, Yahweh, will keep me safe.”
