Псалмул 20

1 Сэ те аскулте Домнул ын зиуа неказулуй, сэ те окротяскэ Нумеле Думнезеулуй луй Иаков,

“To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” May the Lord answer thee on the day of distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;

2 сэ-ць тримитэ ажутор дин локашул Сэу чел Сфынт ши сэ те сприжине дин Сион!

May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and support thee from Zion;

3 Сэ-Шь адукэ аминте де тоате даруриле тале де мынкаре ши сэ-ць примяскэ ардериле-де-тот!

May he remember all thy meat-offerings, and accept in favor thy burnt-sacrifice. (Selah)

4 Сэ-ць дя че-ць дореште инима ши сэ-ць ымплиняскэ тоате плануриле тале!

May he grant thee according to thy own heart, and fulfill all thy resolves.

5 Атунч ной не вом букура де бируинца та ши вом флутура стягул ын Нумеле Думнезеулуй ностру. Домнул сэ-ць аскулте тоате доринцеле тале!

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we upraise our banners: may the Lord fulfill all thy petitions.

6 Штиу де акум кэ Домнул скапэ пе унсул Сэу ши-й ва рэспунде дин черурь, дин Локашул Луй чел Сфынт, прин ажуторул атотпутерник ал дрептей Луй.

Now I know that the Lord saveth his anointed: he will answer him from his holy heavens, with the saving strength of his right hand.

7 Уний се бизуе пе кареле лор, алций, пе каий лор, дар ной не бизуим пе Нумеле Домнулуй Думнезеулуй ностру.

Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses; but we will invoke the name of the Lord our God.

8 Ей се ындоае ши кад, дар ной не ридикэм ши рэмынем ын пичоаре.

They are prostrate and fallen; but we are risen up and stand erect.

9 Скапэ, Доамне, пе ымпэратул ши аскултэ-не кынд Те кемэм!

O Lord, save [us]: may the king answer us on the day when we call [on him].
