1 Кувинтеле ымпэратулуй Лемуел. Ынвэцэтура пе каре й-о дэдя мама са.

2 Че сэ-ць спун, фиуле? Че сэ-ць спун, фиул трупулуй меу? Че сэ-ць спун, фиуле, родул журуинцелор меле?
What my derlyng? what the derlyng of my wombe? what the derlyng of my desiris?
3 Ну-ць да фемеилор влага ши дезмердэриле тале челор че перд пе ымпэраць.
Yyue thou not thi catel to wymmen, and thi richessis to do awei kyngis.
4 Ну се каде ымпэрацилор, Лемуеле, ну се каде ымпэрацилор сэ бя вин, нич воевозилор сэ умбле дупэ бэутурь тарь;
A! Lamuel, nyle thou yiue wyn to kingis; for no pryuete is, where drunkenesse regneth.
5 ка ну кумва, бынд, сэ уйте леӂя ши сэ калче дрептуриле тутурор челор ненорочиць.
Lest perauenture thei drynke, and foryete domes, and chaunge the cause of the sones of a pore man.
6 Даць бэутурь тарь челуй че пере ши вин челуй ку суфлетул амэрыт,
Yyue ye sidur to hem that morenen, and wyn to hem that ben of bitter soule.
7 ка сэ бя сэ-шь уйте сэрэчия ши сэ ну-шь май адукэ аминте де неказуриле луй.
Drinke thei, and foryete thei her nedinesse; and thenke thei no more on her sorewe.
8 Дескиде-ць гура пентру чел мут, пентру причина тутурор челор пэрэсиць!

9 Дескиде-ць гура, жудекэ ку дрептате ши апэрэ пе чел ненорочит ши пе чел липсит.
and opene thi mouth for the causes of alle sones that passen forth. Deme thou that that is iust, and deme thou a nedi man and a pore man.
10 Чине поате гэси о фемее чинститэ? Еа есте май де прец декыт мэргэритареле.

Sche souyte wolle and flex; and wrouyte bi the counsel of hir hondis.

15 Еа се скоалэ кынд есте ынкэ ноапте ши дэ хранэ касей сале ши ымпарте лукрул де песте зи служничелор сале.

16 Се гындеште ла ун огор ши-л кумпэрэ; дин родул мунчий ей сэдеште о вие.

18 Веде кэ мунка ый мерӂе бине, лумина ей ну се стинӂе ноаптя.

19 Еа пуне мына пе фуркэ ши деӂетеле ей цин фусул.
Sche putte hir hondis to stronge thingis, and hir fyngris token the spyndil.
20 Еа ышь ынтинде мына кэтре чел ненорочит, ышь ынтинде брацул кэтре чел липсит.
Sche openyde hir hond to a nedi man, and stretchide forth hir hondis to a pore man.
21 Ну се теме де зэпадэ пентру каса ей, кэч тоатэ каса ей есте ымбрэкатэ ку кэрэмизиу.
Sche schal not drede for hir hous of the cooldis of snow; for alle hir meyneals ben clothid with double clothis.
22 Еа ышь фаче ынвелиторь, аре хайне де ин субцире ши пурпурэ.

23 Бэрбатул ей есте бине вэзут ла порць, кынд шаде ку бэтрыний цэрий.

27 Еа вегязэ асупра челор че се петрек ын каса ей ши ну мэнынкэ пыня леневирий.

28 Фиий ей се скоалэ ши о нумеск феричитэ; бэрбатул ей се скоалэ ши-й адуче лауде зикынд:

Fairnesse is disseiuable grace, and veyn; thilke womman, that dredith the Lord, schal be preisid.
