1 Кувинтеле луй Агур, фиул луй Яке. Кувинтеле ынцелепте ростите де омул ачеста пентру Итиел, пентру Итиел ши пентру Укал.

2 Негрешит, сунт май прост декыт орьчине ши н-ам причепере де ом.
and seide, Y am the moost fool of men; and the wisdom of men is not with me.
3 Н-ам ынвэцат ынцелепчуня ши ну куноск штиинца сфинцилор.
Y lernede not wisdom; and Y knew not the kunnyng of hooli men.
4 Чине с-а суит ла черурь ши чине с-а коборыт дин еле? Чине а адунат вынтул ын пумний луй? Чине а стрынс апеле ын хайна луй? Чине а хотэрыт тоате марӂиниле пэмынтулуй? Кум се нумеште ел ши кум ыл кямэ пе фиул сэу? Штий ту лукрул ачеста?
Who stiede in to heuene, and cam doun? Who helde togidere the spirit in hise hondis? who bonde togidere watris as in a cloth? Who reiside alle the endis of erthe? What is name of hym? and what is the name of his sone, if thou knowist?
5 Орьче кувынт ал луй Думнезеу есте ынчеркат. Ел есте ун скут пентру чей че се ынкред ын Ел.
Ech word of God is a scheld set a fiere, to alle that hopen in hym.
6 Н-адэуга нимик ла кувинтеле Луй, ка сэ ну те педепсяскэ ши сэ фий гэсит минчинос.
Adde thou not ony thing to the wordis of hym, and thou be repreued, and be foundun a liere.
7 Доуэ лукрурь Ыць чер: ну ми ле опри ынаинте де моарте!
I preiede thee twei thingis; denye not thou to me, bifor that Y die.
8 Депэртязэ де ла мине неадевэрул ши кувынтул минчинос; ну-мь да нич сэрэчие, нич богэцие, дэ-мь пыня каре-мь требуе!
Make thou fer fro me vanyte and wordis of leesyng; yyue thou not to me beggery and richessis; yyue thou oneli necessaries to my lijflode;
9 Ка ну кумва, ын белшуг, сэ мэ лепэд де Тине ши сэ зик: „Чине есте Домнул?” Сау ка ну кумва, ын сэрэчие, сэ фур ши сэ яу ын дешерт Нумеле Думнезеулуй меу.
lest perauenture Y be fillid, and be drawun to denye, and seie, Who is the Lord? and lest Y compellid bi nedynesse, stele, and forswere the name of my God.
10 Ну клевети пе ун служитор ла стэпынул луй, ка сэ ну те блестеме ши сэ те фачь виноват.
Accuse thou not a seruaunt to his lord, lest perauenture he curse thee, and thou falle doun.
11 Есте ун ням де оамень каре блестемэ пе татэл сэу ши ну бинекувынтязэ пе мама са.
A generacioun that cursith his fadir, and that blessith not his modir.
12 Есте ун ням де оамень каре се креде курат, ши тотушь ну есте спэлат де ынтинэчуня луй.
A generacioun that semeth cleene to it silf, and netheles is not waischun fro hise filthis.
13 Есте ун ням де оамень ай кэрор окь сунт труфашь ши каре ышь цин плеоапеле сус.
A generacioun whose iyen ben hiy, and the iye liddis therof ben reisid in to hiy thingis.
14 Есте ун ням де оамень ай кэрор динць сунт ниште сэбий ши але кэрор мэселе сунт ниште куците, ка сэ мэнынче пе чел ненорочит де пе пэмынт ши пе чей липсиць динтре оамень.
A generacioun that hath swerdis for teeth, and etith with hise wank teeth; that it ete nedi men of erthe, and the porails of men.
15 Липитоаря аре доуэ фете: „Дэ! дэ!” Трей лукрурь сунт несэциоасе, патру лукрурь ну зик ничодатэ: „Дестул!”,
The watir leche hath twei douytris, seiynge, Brynge, bringe. Thre thingis ben vnable to be fillid, and the fourthe, that seith neuere, It suffisith;
16 ши ануме: Локуинца морцилор, фемея стярпэ, пэмынтул, каре ну есте сэтул де апэ, ши фокул, каре ну зиче ничодатэ: „Дестул!” (Sheol h7585)
helle, and the mouth of the wombe, and the erthe which is neuere fillid with water; but fier seith neuere, It suffisith. (Sheol h7585)
17 Пе окюл каре ышь бате жок де татэл сэу ши несокотеште аскултаря де мамэ ыл вор скоби корбий де ла пырыу ши ыл вор мынка пуий де вултур.
Crowis of the stronde picke out thilke iye, that scorneth the fadir, and that dispisith the child beryng of his modir; and the briddis of an egle ete that iye.
18 Трей лукрурь сунт май пресус де путериле меле ши кяр патру пе каре ну ле пот причепе:
Thre thingis ben hard to me, and outirli Y knowe not the fourthe thing;
19 урма вултурулуй пе чер, урма шарпелуй пе стынкэ, урма корабией ын мижлокул мэрий ши урма омулуй ла о фатэ.
the weye of an egle in heuene, the weie of a serpent on a stoon, the weie of a schip in the myddil of the see, and the weie of a man in yong wexynge age.
20 Тот аша есте ши каля фемеий прякурве: еа мэнынкэ ши се штерӂе ла гурэ ши апой зиче: „Н-ам фэкут нимик рэу.”

21 Трей лукрурь фак сэ се рэскоале о царэ ши патру лукрурь ну ле поате суфери:
The erthe is moued bi thre thingis, and the fourthe thing, which it may not susteyne;
22 ун роб каре а ынчепут сэ ымпэрэцяскэ, ун небун каре аре пыне дин белшуг,
bi a seruaunt, whanne he regneth; bi a fool, whanne he is fillid with mete;
23 о фемее диспрецуитэ каре се мэритэ ши о роабэ каре моштенеште пе стэпынэ-са.
bi an hateful womman, whanne sche is takun in matrymonye; and bi an handmaide, whanne sche is eir of hir ladi.
24 Патру виетэць сунт май мичь пе пэмынт, ши тотушь динтре челе май ынцелепте:
Foure ben the leeste thingis of erthe, and tho ben wisere than wise men;
25 фурничиле, каре ну сунт ун попор таре, дар ышь прегэтеск храна вара;
amtis, a feble puple, that maken redi mete in heruest to hem silf;
26 шоаречий де мунте, каре ну сунт ун попор путерник, дар ышь ашазэ локуинца ын стынчь;
a hare, a puple vnmyyti, that settith his bed in a stoon;
27 лэкустеле н-ау ымпэрат, ши тотушь порнеск тоате ын чете;
a locust hath no kyng, and al goith out bi cumpanyes; an euete enforsith with hondis,
28 пэянженул ыл поць принде ку мыниле ши се гэсеште тотушь ын каселе ымпэрацилор.
and dwellith in the housis of kingis.
29 Трей фиинце ау о цинутэ фрумоасэ ши патру ау мерс мэрец:
Thre thingis ben, that goon wel, and the fourthe thing, that goith richeli.
30 леул, витязул добитоачелор, каре ну се дэ ынапой динаинтя нимэнуй,
A lioun, strongeste of beestis, schal not drede at the meetyng of ony man;
31 калул ынкингат гата ши цапул ши ымпэратул кэруя нимень ну-й поате ста ымпотривэ.
a cok gird the leendis, and a ram, and noon is that schal ayenstonde him.
32 Дакэ мындрия те ымпинӂе ла фапте де небуние ши дакэ ай гындурь реле, пуне мына ла гурэ:
He that apperith a fool, aftir that he is reisid an hiy; for if he hadde vndurstonde, he hadde sett hond on his mouth.
33 кэч батеря лаптелуй дэ смынтынэ, скэрпинаря насулуй дэ сынӂе ши стоарчеря мынией дэ чертурь.
Forsothe he that thristith strongli teetis, to drawe out mylk, thristith out botere; and he that smytith greetli, drawith out blood; and he that stirith iris, bringith forth discordis.
