Провербеле 13
1 Ун фиу ынцелепт аскултэ ынвэцэтура татэлуй сэу, дар батжокориторул н-аскултэ мустраря.
A wise son heareth the doctrine of his father: but he that is a scorner, beareth not when he is reproved.
2 Прин родул гурий ай парте де бине, дар чей стрикаць ау парте де силничие.
Of the fruit of his own mouth shall a man be filled with good things: but the soul of transgressors is wicked.
3 Чине-шь пэзеште гура ышь пэзеште суфлетул; чине-шь дескиде бузеле марь аляргэ спре пеиря луй.
He that keepeth his mouth, keepeth his soul: but he that hath no guard on his speech shall meet with evils.
4 Ленешул дореште мулт, ши тотушь н-аре нимик, дар чей харничь се сатурэ.
The sluggard willeth and willeth not: but the soul of them that work, shall be made fat.
5 Чел неприхэнит урэште кувинтеле минчиноасе, дар чел рэу се фаче урыт ши се акоперэ де рушине.
The just shall hate a lying word: but the wicked confoundeth, and shall be confounded.
6 Неприхэниря пэзеште пе чел невиноват, дар рэутатя адуче перзаря пэкэтосулуй.
Justice keepeth the way of the innocent: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
7 Унул фаче пе богатул, ши н-аре нимик, алтул фаче пе сэракул, ши аре тотушь марь авуций.
One is as it were rich, when he hath nothing: and another is as it were poor, when he hath great riches.
8 Омул ку богэция луй ышь рэскумпэрэ вяца, дар сэракул н-аскултэ мустраря.
The ransom of a man’s life are his riches: but he that is poor beareth not reprehension.
9 Лумина челор неприхэниць арде войоасэ, дар кандела челор рэй се стинӂе.
The light of the just giveth joy: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
10 Прин мындрие се ацыцэ нумай чертурь, дар ынцелепчуня есте ку чел че аскултэ сфатуриле.
Among the proud there are always contentions: but they that do all things with counsel, are ruled by wisdom.
11 Богэция кыштигатэ фэрэ трудэ скаде, дар че се стрынӂе ынчетул ку ынчетул креште.
Substance got in haste shall be diminished: but that which by little and little is gathered with the hand shall increase.
12 О нэдежде амынатэ ымболнэвеште инима, дар о доринцэ ымплинитэ есте ун пом де вяцэ.
Hope that is deferred afflicteth the soul: desire when it cometh is a tree of life.
13 Чине несокотеште Кувынтул Домнулуй се перде, дар чине се теме де порункэ есте рэсплэтит.
Whosoever speaketh ill of any thing, bindeth himself for the time to come: but he that feareth the commandment, shall dwell in peace. Deceitful souls go astray in sins: the just are merciful, and shew mercy.
14 Ынвэцэтура ынцелептулуй есте ун извор де вяцэ, ка сэ абатэ пе ом дин курселе морций.
The law of the wise is a fountain of life, that he may decline from the ruin of death.
15 О минте сэнэтоасэ кыштигэ бунэвоинцэ, дар каля челор стрикаць есте петроасэ.
Good instruction shall give grace: in the way of scorners is a deep pit.
16 Орьче ом кибзуит лукрязэ ку куноштинцэ, дар небунул ышь дэ ла ивялэ небуния.
The prudent mall doth all things with counsel: but he that is a fool, layeth open his folly.
17 Ун сол рэу каде ын ненорочире, дар ун сол крединчос адуче тэмэдуире.
The messenger of the wicked shall fall into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.
18 Сэрэчия ши рушиня сунт партя челуй че ляпэдэ чертаря, дар чел че я сяма ла мустраре есте пус ын чинсте.
Poverty and shame to him that refuseth instruction: but he that yieldeth to reproof, shall be glorified.
19 Ымплиниря уней доринце есте дулче суфлетулуй, дар челор небунь ле есте урыт сэ се ласе де рэу.
The desire that is accomplished, delighteth the soul: fools hate them that flee from evil things.
20 Чине умблэ ку ынцелепций се фаче ынцелепт, дар куй ый плаче сэ се ынсоцяскэ ку небуний о дуче рэу.
He that walketh with the wise, shall be wise: a friend of fools shall become like to them.
21 Ненорочиря урмэреште пе чей че пэкэтуеск, дар чей неприхэниць вор фи рэсплэтиць ку феричире.
Evil pursueth sinners: and to the just good shall be repaid.
22 Омул де бине ласэ моштениторь пе копиий копиилор сэй, дар богэцииле пэкэтосулуй сунт пэстрате пентру чел неприхэнит.
The good man leaveth heirs, sons, and grandsons: and the substance of the sinner is kept for the just.
23 Огорул пе каре-л десцеленеште сэракул дэ о хранэ ымбелшугатэ, дар мулць пер дин причина недрептэций лор.
Much food is in the tillage of fathers: but for others it is gathered with out judgment.
24 Чине круцэ нуяуа урэште пе фиул сэу, дар чине-л юбеште ыл педепсеште ындатэ.
He that spareth the rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him correcteth him betimes.
25 Чел неприхэнит мэнынкэ пынэ се сатурэ, дар пынтечеле челор рэй дуче липсэ.
The just eateth and filleth his soul: but the belly of the wicked is never to be filled.
