Провербеле 12
1 Чине юбеште чертаря юбеште штиинца, дар чине урэште мустраря есте прост.
Whoso loveth discipline loveth knowledge, but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
2 Омул де бине капэтэ бунэвоинца Домнулуй, дар Домнул осындеште пе чел плин де рэутате.
A good [man] obtaineth favour of Jehovah; but a man of mischievous devices will he condemn.
3 Омул ну се ынтэреште прин рэутате, дар рэдэчина челор неприхэниць ну се ва клэтина.
A man shall not be established by wickedness; but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
4 О фемее чинститэ есте кунуна бэрбатулуй ей, дар чя каре-й фаче рушине есте ка путрегаюл ын оаселе луй.
A woman of worth is a crown to her husband; but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
5 Гындуриле челор неприхэниць ну сунт декыт дрептате, дар сфатуриле челор рэй ну сунт декыт ыншелэчуне.
The thoughts of the righteous are right; the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
6 Кувинтеле челор рэй сунт ниште курсе ка сэ версе сынӂе, дар гура челор фэрэ приханэ ый избэвеште.
The words of the wicked are a lying-in-wait for blood; but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
7 Чей рэй сунт рэстурнаць ши ну май сунт, дар каса челор неприхэниць рэмыне ын пичоаре!
Overthrow the wicked, and they are no [more]; but the house of the righteous shall stand.
8 Ун ом есте прецуит дупэ мэсура причеперий луй, дар чел ку инима стрикатэ есте диспрецуит.
A man is commended according to his wisdom; but he that is of a perverted heart shall be despised.
9 Май бине сэ фий ынтр-о старе смеритэ ши сэ ай о слугэ декыт сэ фачь пе фудулул ши сэ н-ай че мынка.
Better is he that is lightly esteemed, and hath a servant, than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.
10 Чел неприхэнит се ындурэ де вите, дар инима челуй рэу есте фэрэ милэ.
A righteous man is concerned for the life of his beast; but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
11 Чине-шь лукрязэ огорул ва авя белшуг де пыне, дар чине умблэ дупэ лукрурь де нимик есте фэрэ минте.
He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread; but he that followeth the worthless is void of understanding.
12 Чел рэу пофтеште прада челор нелеӂюиць, дар рэдэчина челор неприхэниць родеште.
The wicked desireth the net of evil [men]; but the root of the righteous yieldeth [fruit].
13 Ын пэкэтуиря ку бузеле есте о курсэ примеждиоасэ, дар чел неприхэнит скапэ дин буклук.
In the transgression of the lips is an evil snare; but a righteous [man] shall go forth out of trouble.
14 Прин родул гурий те сатурь де бунэтэць, ши фиекаре примеште дупэ лукрул мынилор луй.
A man is satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth; and the recompense of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
15 Каля небунулуй есте фэрэ приханэ ын окий луй, дар ынцелептул аскултэ сфатуриле.
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes; but he that is wise hearkeneth unto counsel.
16 Небунул ындатэ ышь дэ пе фацэ мыния, дар ынцелептул аскунде окара.
The vexation of the fool is presently known; but a prudent [man] covereth shame.
17 Чине спуне адевэрул фаче о мэртурисире дряптэ, дар марторул минчинос ворбеште ыншелэчуне.
He that uttereth truth sheweth forth righteousness; but a false witness deceit.
18 Чине ворбеште ын кип ушуратик рэнеште ка стрэпунӂеря уней сэбий, дар лимба ынцелепцилор адуче виндекаре.
There is that babbleth like the piercings of a sword; but the tongue of the wise is health.
19 Буза каре спуне адевэрул есте ынтэритэ пе вечие, дар лимба минчиноасэ ну стэ декыт о клипэ.
The lip of truth shall be established for ever; but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
20 Ыншелэтория есте ын инима челор че куӂетэ рэул, дар букурия есте пентру чей че сфэтуеск ла паче.
Deceit is in the heart of them that devise evil; but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
21 Ничо ненорочире ну се ынтымплэ челуй неприхэнит, дар чей рэй сунт нэпэдиць де реле.
There shall no evil happen to a righteous [man]; but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.
22 Бузеле минчиноасе сунт урыте Домнулуй, дар чей че лукрязэ ку адевэр ый сунт плэкуць.
Lying lips are an abomination to Jehovah; but they that deal truly are his delight.
23 Омул ынцелепт ышь аскунде штиинца, дар инима небунилор вестеште небуния.
A prudent man concealeth knowledge; but the heart of the foolish proclaimeth folly.
24 Мына челор харничь ва стэпыни, дар мына ленешэ ва плэти бир.
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule; but the slothful [hand] shall be under tribute.
25 Нелиништя дин инима омулуй ыл добоарэ, дар о ворбэ бунэ ыл ынвеселеште.
Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop; but a good word maketh it glad.
26 Чел неприхэнит аратэ приетенулуй сэу каля чя бунэ, дар каля челор рэй ый дуче ын рэтэчире.
The righteous guideth his neighbour; but the way of the wicked misleadeth them.
27 Ленешул ну-шь фриӂе вынатул, дар комоара де прец а унуй ом есте мунка.
The slothful roasteth not what he took in hunting; but man's precious substance is to the diligent.
28 Пе кэраря неприхэнирий есте вяца ши пе друмул ынсемнат де еа ну есте моарте.
In the path of righteousness is life, and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
