1 Картя нямулуй луй Исус Христос, фиул луй Давид, фиул луй Авраам.
[The] scroll of the birth of Jesus Christ, Son of David, Son of Abraham.
2 Авраам а нэскут пе Исаак; Исаак а нэскут пе Иаков; Иаков а нэскут пе Иуда ши фраций луй;
Abraham begot Isaac, and Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers,
3 Иуда а нэскут пе Фарес ши Зара, дин Тамар; Фарес а нэскут пе Есром; Есром а нэскут пе Арам;
and Judah begot Perez and Zerah of Tamar, and Perez begot Hezron, and Hezron begot Ram,
4 Арам а нэскут пе Аминадаб; Аминадаб а нэскут пе Наасон; Наасон а нэскут пе Салмон;
and Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon,
5 Салмон а нэскут пе Боаз, дин Рахав; Боаз а нэскут пе Обед, дин Рут; Обед а нэскут пе Иесе;
and Salmon begot Boaz of Rahab, and Boaz begot Obed of Ruth, and Obed begot Jesse,
6 Иесе а нэскут пе ымпэратул Давид. Ымпэратул Давид а нэскут пе Соломон, дин вэдува луй Урие;
and Jesse begot David the king. And David the king begot Solomon, of her [who had been] Uriah’s,
7 Соломон а нэскут пе Робоам; Робоам а нэскут пе Абия; Абия а нэскут пе Аса;
and Solomon begot Rehoboam, and Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa,
8 Аса а нэскут пе Иосафат; Иосафат а нэскут пе Иорам; Иорам а нэскут пе Озия;
and Asa begot Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot Uzziah,
9 Озия а нэскут пе Иоатам; Иоатам а нэскут пе Ахаз; Ахаз а нэскут пе Езекия;
and Uzziah begot Jotham, and Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah,
10 Езекия а нэскут пе Манасе; Манасе а нэскут пе Амон; Амон а нэскут пе Иосия;
and Hezekiah begot Manasseh, and Manasseh begot Amon, and Amon begot Josiah,
11 Иосия а нэскут пе Иехония ши фраций луй, пе время стрэмутэрий ын Бабилон.
and Josiah begot Jeconiah and his brothers, at the Babylonian removal.
12 Дупэ стрэмутаря ын Бабилон, Иехония а нэскут пе Салатиел; Салатиел а нэскут пе Зоробабел;
And after the Babylonian removal, Jeconiah begot Shealtiel, and Shealtiel begot Zerubbabel,
13 Зоробабел а нэскут пе Абиуд; Абиуд а нэскут пе Елиаким; Елиаким а нэскут пе Азор;
and Zerubbabel begot Abiud, and Abiud begot Eliakim, and Eliakim begot Azor,
14 Азор а нэскут пе Садок; Садок а нэскут пе Аким; Аким а нэскут пе Елиуд;
and Azor begot Sadok, and Sadok begot Achim, and Achim begot Eliud,
15 Елиуд а нэскут пе Елеазар; Елеазар а нэскут пе Матан; Матан а нэскут пе Иаков;
and Eliud begot Eleazar, and Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob,
16 Иаков а нэскут пе Иосиф, бэрбатул Марией, дин каре С-а нэскут Исус, каре Се кямэ Христос.
and Jacob begot Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was begotten Jesus, who is named Christ.
17 Деч, де ла Авраам пынэ ла Давид, сунт пайспрезече нямурь де тоате; де ла Давид пынэ ла стрэмутаря ын Бабилон сунт пайспрезече нямурь; ши де ла стрэмутаря ын Бабилон пынэ ла Христос сунт пайспрезече нямурь.
All the generations, therefore, from Abraham to David [are] fourteen generations, and from David to the Babylonian removal fourteen generations, and from the Babylonian removal to the Christ, fourteen generations.
18 Яр наштеря луй Исус Христос а фост аша: Мария, мама Луй, ера логодитэ ку Иосиф; ши, ынаинте ка сэ локуяскэ ей ымпреунэ, еа с-а афлат ынсэрчинатэ де ла Духул Сфынт.
And of Jesus Christ, the birth was thus: for His mother Mary having been betrothed to Joseph, before their coming together she was found to have conceived from the Holy Spirit,
19 Иосиф, бэрбатул ей, ера ун ом неприхэнит ши ну воя с-о факэ де рушине ынаинтя лумий, де ачея шь-а пус де гынд с-о ласе пе аскунс.
and her husband Joseph being righteous, and not willing to make her an example, resolved to send her away privately.
20 Дар, пе кынд се гындя ел ла ачесте лукрурь, и с-а арэтат ын вис ун ынӂер ал Домнулуй ши й-а зис: „Иосифе, фиул луй Давид, ну те теме сэ ей ла тине пе Мария, невастэ-та, кэч че с-а зэмислит ын еа есте де ла Духул Сфынт.
And on his thinking of these things, behold, a messenger of the LORD appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, you may not fear to receive your wife Mary, for that which was begotten in her is of [the] Holy Spirit,
21 Еа ва наште ун Фиу ши-Й вей пуне нумеле Исус, пентру кэ Ел ва мынтуи пе попорул Луй де пэкателе сале.”
and she will bring forth a Son, and you will call His Name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
22 Тоате ачесте лукрурь с-ау ынтымплат ка сэ се ымплиняскэ че вестисе Домнул прин пророкул каре зиче:
And all this has come to pass, that it may be fulfilled that was spoken by the LORD through the prophet, saying,
23 „Ятэ, фечоара ва фи ынсэрчинатэ, ва наште ун Фиу ши-Й вор пуне нумеле Емануел”, каре, тэлмэчит, ынсямнэ: „Думнезеу есте ку ной”.
“Behold, the virgin will conceive, and she will bring forth a Son, and they will call His Name Emmanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”
24 Кынд с-а трезит Иосиф дин сомн, а фэкут кум ый порунчисе ынӂерул Домнулуй; ши а луат ла ел пе невастэ-са.
And Joseph, having risen from sleep, did as the messenger of the LORD directed him, and received his wife,
25 Дар н-а куноскут-о пынэ че еа а нэскут ун Фиу. Ши ел Й-а пус нумеле Исус.
and did not know her until she brought forth her Son—the firstborn, and he called His Name Jesus.
