Матей 3
1 Ын время ачея а венит Иоан Ботезэторул ши проповэдуя ын пустиул Иудеий.
And in those days John the Immerser comes, proclaiming in the wilderness of Judea,
2 Ел зичя: „Покэици-вэ, кэч Ымпэрэция черурилор есте апроапе.”
and saying, “Convert, for the kingdom of the heavens has come near,”
3 Иоан ачеста есте ачела каре фусесе вестит прин пророкул Исая, кынд зиче: „Ятэ гласул челуй че стригэ ын пустиу: ‘Прегэтиць каля Домнулуй, нетезици-Й кэрэриле.’”
for this is he having been spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “A voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the LORD, Make His paths straight.”
4 Иоан пурта о хайнэ де пэр де кэмилэ ши ла мижлок ера ынчинс ку ун брыу де куря. Ел се хрэня ку лэкусте ши мьере сэлбатикэ.
And this John had his clothing of camel’s hair, and a girdle of skin around his loins, and his nourishment was locusts and honey of the field.
5 Локуиторий дин Иерусалим, дин тоатэ Иудея ши дин тоате ымпрежуримиле Йорданулуй ау ынчепут сэ ясэ ла ел;
Then were going forth to him Jerusalem, and all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan,
6 ши, мэртурисинду-шь пэкателе, ерау ботезаць де ел ын рыул Йордан.
and they were immersed in the Jordan by him, confessing their sins.
7 Дар кынд а вэзут пе мулць дин фарисей ши дин садукей кэ вин сэ примяскэ ботезул луй, ле-а зис: „Пуй де нэпырчь, чине в-а ынвэцат сэ фуӂиць де мыния виитоаре?
And having seen many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming about his immersion, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who showed you to flee from the coming wrath?
8 Фачець дар роаде вредниче де покэинца воастрэ.
Bear, therefore, fruits worthy of conversion,
9 Ши сэ ну кредець кэ путець зиче ын вой ыншивэ: ‘Авем ка татэ пе Авраам!’ Кэч вэ спун кэ Думнезеу дин петреле ачестя поате сэ ридиче фий луй Авраам.
and do not think to say in yourselves, We have a father—Abraham, for I say to you that God is able to raise children to Abraham out of these stones,
10 Ятэ кэ секуря а ши фост ынфиптэ ла рэдэчина помилор: деч орьче пом каре ну фаче род бун ва фи тэят ши арункат ын фок.
and now also, the axe is laid to the root of the trees, therefore, every tree not bearing good fruit is cut down, and is cast into fire.
11 Кыт деспре мине, еу вэ ботез ку апэ, спре покэинцэ; дар Чел че вине дупэ мине есте май путерник декыт мине, ши еу ну сунт вредник сэ-Й дук ынкэлцэминтя. Ел вэ ва ботеза ку Духул Сфынт ши ку фок.
I indeed immerse you in water for conversion, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, of whom I am not worthy to carry the sandals, He will immerse you in the Holy Spirit and fire,
12 Ачела Ышь аре лопата ын мынэ, Ышь ва курэци ку десэвыршире ария ши Ышь ва стрынӂе грыул ын грынар, дар плява о ва арде ынтр-ун фок каре ну се стинӂе.”
whose fan [is] in His hand, and He will thoroughly cleanse His floor, and will gather His wheat into the storehouse, but He will burn the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
13 Атунч а венит Исус дин Галилея ла Йордан, ла Иоан, ка сэ фие ботезат де ел.
Then Jesus comes from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be immersed by him,
14 Дар Иоан кэута сэ-Л опряскэ. „Еу”, зичя ел, „ам требуинцэ сэ фиу ботезат де Тине, ши Ту вий ла мине?”
but John was forbidding Him, saying, “I have need to be immersed by You—and You come to me?”
15 Дрепт рэспунс, Исус й-а зис: „Ласэ-Мэ акум, кэч аша се каде сэ ымплиним тот че требуе ымплинит.” Атунч, Иоан Л-а лэсат.
But Jesus answering said to him, “Permit [it] now, for thus it is fitting to us to fulfill all righteousness,” then he permits Him.
16 Де ындатэ че а фост ботезат, Исус а ешит дин апэ. Ши, ын клипа ачея, черуриле с-ау дескис ши а вэзут пе Духул луй Думнезеу коборынду-Се ын кип де порумбел ши венинд песте Ел.
And having been immersed, Jesus immediately went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming on Him,
17 Ши дин черурь с-а аузит ун глас, каре зичя: „Ачеста есте Фиул Меу пряюбит, ын каре Ымь гэсеск плэчеря.”
and behold, a voice out of the heavens, saying, “This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delighted.”
