Матей 22
1 Исус а луат кувынтул ши ле-а ворбит ярэшь ын пилде. Ши а зис:
Once again Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying,
2 „Ымпэрэция черурилор се асямэнэ ку ун ымпэрат каре а фэкут нунтэ фиулуй сэу.
“The kingdom of heaven can be compared to a king who prepared a wedding feast for his son.
3 А тримис пе робий сэй сэ кеме пе чей пофтиць ла нунтэ, дар ей н-ау врут сэ винэ.
He sent his servants to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.
4 А тримис ярэшь алць робь ши ле-а зис: ‘Спунець челор пофтиць: «Ятэ кэ ам гэтит оспэцул меу; жунчийши вителе меле челе ынгрэшате ау фост тэяте; тоате сунт гата, вениць ла нунтэ.»’
Again he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and the fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.”’
5 Дар ей, фэрэ сэ ле песе де пофтиря луй, ау плекат: унул ла холда луй ши алтул ла негустория луй.
But they paid no attention and went away, one to his own field and another to his business.
6 Чейлалць ау пус мына пе робь, шь-ау бэтут жок де ей ши й-ау оморыт.
The rest seized his servants, mistreated them, and killed them.
7 Кынд а аузит ымпэратул, с-а мыният, а тримис оштилесале, а нимичит пе учигаший ачея ши ле-а арс четатя.
When the king heard about it, he was furious. So he sent his armies, who destroyed those murderers and burned down their city.
8 Атунч а зис робилор сэй: ‘Нунта есте гата, дар чей пофтиць н-ау фост вредничьде еа.
Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
9 Дучеци-вэ дар ла рэспынтииле друмурилор ши кемаць ла нунтэ пе тоць ачея пе каре-й вець гэси.’
Go therefore to where the roads exit the city and invite to the wedding feast anyone you find.’
10 Робий ау ешит ла рэспынтий, аустрынс пе тоць пе каре й-ау гэсит, ши бунь, ши рэй, ши одая оспэцулуй де нунтэ с-а умплут де оаспець.
So the servants went out to the roads and gathered together all whom they found, both evil and good, and the wedding feast was filled with guests.
11 Ымпэратул а интрат сэ-шь вадэ оаспеций ши а зэрит аколо пе ун ом карену ера ымбрэкат ын хайна де нунтэ.
“But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who was not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ‘Приетене’, й-а зис ел, ‘кум ай интрат аич фэрэ сэ ай хайнэ де нунтэ?’ Омул ачела а амуцит.
So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did yoʋ get in here without a wedding garment?’ But the man was speechless.
13 Атунч, ымпэратул а зис служиторилор сэй: ‘Легаци-й мыниле ши пичоареле ши луаци-л ши арункаци-л ынынтунерикул де афарэ; аколо вор фи плынсул ши скрышниря динцилор.
Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind his feet and hands, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14 Кэчмулць сунт кемаць, дар пуцинь сунт алешь.’”
For many are called, but few are chosen.”
15 Атунч, фарисеий с-ау дус ши с-ау сфэтуит кум сэ приндэ пе Исус ку ворба.
Then the Pharisees went and took counsel as to how they might ensnare Jesus in what he said.
16 Ау тримис ла Ел пе ученичий лор ымпреунэ ку иродиений, каре Й-ау зис: „Ынвэцэторуле, штим кэ ешть адевэрат ши кэ ынвець пе оамень каля луй Думнезеу ын адевэр, фэрэ сэ-Ць песе де нимень, пентру кэ ну кауць ла фаца оаменилор.
They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, who said to him, “Teacher, we know that yoʋ are true and teach the way of God in truth and defer to no one, for yoʋ do not show partiality.
17 Спуне-не дар, че крезь? Се каде сэ плэтим бир Чезарулуй сау ну?”
Tell us then, what do yoʋ think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
18 Исус, каре ле куноштя виклешугул, а рэспунс: „Пентру че Мэ испитиць, фэцарничилор?
But Jesus knew their evil intent and said, “Why are you testing me, you hypocrites?
19 Арэтаци-Мь банул бирулуй.” Ши ей Й-ау адус ун бан.
Show me the coin for the tax.” So they brought him a denarius.
20 Ел й-а ынтребат: „Кипул ачеста ши словеле скрисе пе ел але куй сунт?”
Then he said to them, “Whose image and inscription is this?”
21 „Але Чезарулуй”, Й-ау рэспунс ей. Атунч, Ел ле-а зис: „Дацьдар Чезарулуй че есте ал Чезарулуй, ши луй Думнезеу че есте ал луй Думнезеу!”
They said to him, “Caesar's.” So he said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.”
22 Мираць де кувинтеле ачестя, ей Л-ау лэсат ши ау плекат.
When they heard this, they were amazed. Then they left him and went away.
23 Ын ачеяшь зи, ау венит ла Исус садукеий, каре зик кэ ну есте ынвиере. Ей Й-ау пус урмэтоаря ынтребаре:
On that day some Sadducees (who say there is no resurrection) came to Jesus and asked him,
24 „Ынвэцэторуле, Мойсе а зис: ‘Дакэ моаре чинева фэрэ сэ айбэ копий, фрателе луй сэ я пе неваста фрателуй сэу ши сэ-й ридиче урмаш.’
“Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up offspring for him.’
25 Ерау дар ла ной шапте фраць. Чел динтый с-а ынсурат ши а мурит ши, фииндкэ н-авя копий, а лэсат фрателуй сэу пе неваста луй.
Now there were seven brothers among us. The first married and died, and having no offspring, he left his wife to his brother.
26 Тот аша ши ал дойля, ши ал трейля, пынэ ла ал шаптеля.
The same thing happened to the second and to the third, down to the seventh.
27 Ла урмэ, дупэ ей тоць, а мурит ши фемея.
Last of all, the woman also died.
28 Ла ынвиере, неваста кэруя дин чей шапте ва фи еа? Фииндкэ тоць ау авут-о де невастэ.”
In the resurrection, therefore, which of the seven will she be the wife of? For they all had her.”
29 Дрепт рэспунс, Исус ле-а зис: „Вэ рэтэчиць! Пентру кэ ну куноаштецьнич Скриптуриле, нич путеря луй Думнезеу.
Jesus answered them, “You are in error because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Кэч, ла ынвиере, нич ну се вор ынсура, нич ну се вор мэрита, чи вор фика ынӂерий луй Думнезеу ын чер.
For in the resurrection people neither marry nor are they given in marriage. Instead, they are like angels of God in heaven.
31 Кыт привеште ынвиеря морцилор, оаре н-аць читит че ви с-а спус де Думнезеу, кынд зиче:
But as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you:
32 ‘Еусунт Думнезеул луй Авраам, Думнезеул луй Исаак ши Думнезеул луй Иаков’? Думнезеу ну есте ун Думнезеу ал челор морць, чи ал челор вий.”
‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
33 Нороаделе, каре аскултау, ау рэмас уймите де ынвэцэтура луй Исус.
And when the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.
34 Кынд ау аузит фарисеий кэ Исус а аступат гура садукеилор, с-ау стрынс ла ун лок.
Now when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together.
35 Ши унул дин ей, ун ынвэцэтор ал Леӂий, ка сэ-Л испитяскэ, Й-а пус ынтребаря урмэтоаре:
And one of them, a lawyer, asked Jesus a question to test him:
36 „Ынвэцэторуле, каре есте чя май маре порункэ дин Леӂе?”
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
37 Исус й-а рэспунс: „‘Сэюбешть пе Домнул Думнезеул тэу ку тоатэ инима та, ку тот суфлетул тэу ши ку тот куӂетул тэу.’
Jesus said to him, “‘Yoʋ shall love the Lord yoʋr God with all yoʋr heart, with all yoʋr soul, and with all yoʋr mind.’
38 Ачаста есте чя динтый ши чя май маре порункэ.
This is the most important and greatest commandment.
39 Яр а доуа, асеменя ей, есте: ‘Сэюбешть пе апроапеле тэу ка пе тине ынсуць.’
And a second is like it: ‘Yoʋ shall love yoʋr neighbor as yoʋrself.’
40 Ын ачестедоуэ порунчь се купринд тоатэ Леӂя ши Пророчий.”
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
41 Пе кынд ерау стрыншь ла ун лок фарисеий, Исус й-а ынтребат:
While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
42 „Че кредець вой деспре Христос? Ал куй фиу есте?” „Ал луй Давид”, Й-ау рэспунс ей.
“What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “David's.”
43 Ши Исус ле-а зис: „Кум атунч, Давид, фиинд инсуфлат де Духул, Ыл нумеште Домн, кынд зиче:
He said to them, “How is it then that David, in the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord,’ saying,
44 ‘Домнула зис Домнулуй Меу: «Шезь ла дряпта Мя пынэ вой пуне пе врэжмаший Тэй суб пичоареле Тале»’?
‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make yoʋr enemies a footstool for yoʋr feet”’?
45 Деч, дакэ Давид Ыл нумеште Домн, кум есте Ел фиул луй?”
If David calls him ‘Lord,’ how is he his son?”
46 Нимень ну Й-а путут рэспунде ун кувынт. Ши, дин зиуа ачея, н-а ындрэзнит нимень сэ-Й май пунэ ынтребэрь.
No one was able to say anything in reply, nor did anyone dare to ask him questions anymore from that day forward.
