Матей 17
1 Дупэ шасе зиле, Исус а луат ку Ел пе Петру, Иаков ши Иоан, фрателе луй, ши й-а дус ла о парте пе ун мунте ыналт.
Six day later, Jesus took with Him Peter and the brothers James and John, and brought them up a high mountain to a solitary place.
2 Ел С-а скимбат ла фацэ ынаинтя лор; фаца Луй а стрэлучит ка соареле ши хайнеле И с-ау фэкут албе ка лумина.
There in their presence His form underwent a change; His face shone like the sun, and His raiment became as white as the light.
3 Ши ятэ кэ ли с-ау арэтат Мойсе ши Илие стынд де ворбэ ку Ел.
And suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared to them conversing with Him.
4 Петру а луат кувынтул ши а зис луй Исус: „Доамне, есте бине сэ фим аич; дакэ врей, ам сэ фак аич трей колибе: уна пентру Тине, уна пентру Мойсе ши уна пентру Илие.”
Then Peter said to Jesus, "Master, we are thankful to you that we are here. If you approve, I will put up three tents here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
5 Пе кынд ворбя ел ынкэ, ятэ кэ й-а акоперит ун нор луминос ку умбра луй. Ши дин нор с-а аузит ун глас, каре зичя: „Ачеста есте Фиул Меу пряюбит, ын каре Ымь гэсеск плэчеря Мя: де Ел сэ аскултаць!”
He was still speaking when a luminous cloud spread over them; and a voice was heard from within the cloud, which said, "This is My Son dearly beloved, in whom is My delight. Listen to Him."
6 Кынд ау аузит, ученичий ау кэзут ку фецеле ла пэмынт ши с-ау ынспэймынтат фоарте таре.
On hearing this voice, the disciples fell on their faces and were filled with terror.
7 Дар Исус С-а апропият, С-а атинс де ей ши ле-а зис: „Скулаци-вэ, ну вэ темець!”
But Jesus came and touched them, and said, "Rouse yourselves and have no fear."
8 Ей ау ридикат окий ши н-ау вэзут пе нимень, декыт пе Исус сингур.
So they looked up, and saw no one but Jesus.
9 Пе кынд коборау дин мунте, Исус ле-а дат порунка урмэтоаре: „Сэ ну спунець нимэнуй де ведения ачаста пынэ ва ынвия Фиул омулуй дин морць.”
As they were descending the mountain, Jesus laid a command upon them. "Tell no one," He said, "of the sight you have seen till the Son of Man has risen from among the dead."
10 Ученичий Й-ау пус ынтребаря урмэтоаре: „Оаре де че зик кэртурарий кэ ынтый требуе сэ винэ Илие?”
"Why then," asked the disciples, "do the Scribes say that Elijah must first come?"
11 Дрепт рэспунс, Исус ле-а зис: „Есте адевэрат кэ требуе сэ винэ ынтый Илие ши сэ ашезедин ноу тоате лукруриле.
"Elijah was indeed to come," He replied, "and would reform everything.
12 Дарвэ спун кэ Илие а ши венит, ши ей ну л-ау куноскут, чи ауфэкут ку ел че ау врут. Тот аша аре сэ суфере шиФиул омулуй дин партя лор.”
But I tell you that he has already come, and they did not recognize him, but dealt with him as they chose. And before long the Son of Man will be treated by them in a similar way."
13 Ученичий ау ынцелес атунч кэ ле ворбисе деспре Иоан Ботезэторул.
Then it dawned upon the disciples that it was John the Baptist about whom He had spoken to them.
14 Кынд ау ажунс ла нород, а венит ун ом каре а кэзут ын ӂенункь ынаинтя луй Исус ши Й-а зис:
When they had returned to the people, there came to Him a man who fell on his knees before Him and besought Him.
15 „Доамне, ай милэ де фиул меу, кэч есте лунатик ши пэтимеште рэу: де мулте орь каде ын фок ши де мулте орь каде ын апэ.
"Sir," he said, "have pity on my son, for he is an epileptic and is very ill. Often he falls into the fire and often into the water.
16 Л-ам адус ла ученичий Тэй ши н-ау путут сэ-л виндече.”
I have brought him to your disciples, and they have not been able to cure him."
17 „О, ням некрединчос ши порнит ла рэу!”, а рэспунс Исус. „Пынэ кынд вой фи ку вой? Пынэ кынд вэ вой суфери? Адучеци-л аич, ла Мине.”
"O unbelieving and perverse generation!" replied Jesus; "how long shall I be with you? how long shall I endure you? Bring him to me."
18 Исус а чертат дракул, каре а ешит дин ел. Ши бэятул с-а тэмэдуит кяр ын часул ачела.
Then Jesus reprimanded the demon, and it came out and left him; and the boy was cured from that moment.
19 Атунч, ученичий ау венит ла Исус ши Й-ау зис деопарте: „Ной де че н-ам путут сэ-л скоатем?”
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked Him, "Why could not we expel the demon?"
20 „Дин причина пуциней воастре крединце”, ле-а зис Исус. „Адевэрат вэ спун кэ, дакэаць авя крединцэ кыт ун грэунте де муштар, аць зиче мунтелуй ачестуя: ‘Мутэ-те де аич коло’, ши с-ар мута; нимик ну в-ар фи ку непутинцэ.
"Because your faith is so small," He replied; "for I solemnly declare to you that if you have faith like a mustard-seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Remove from this place to that,' and it will remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
21 Дар ачест сой де драчь ну есе афарэ декыт ку ругэчуне ши ку пост.”
But an evil spirit of this kind is only driven out by prayer and fasting."
22 Пе кынд стэтяу ын Галилея, Исус ле-а зис: „Фиул омулуй требуе сэ фие дат ын мыниле оаменилор.
As they were travelling about in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men;
23 Ей Ыл вор оморы, дар а трея зи ва ынвия.” Ученичий с-ау ынтристат фоарте мулт.
they will put Him to death, but on the third day He will be raised to life again." And they were exceedingly distressed.
24 Кынд ау ажунс ын Капернаум, чей че стрынӂяу даря пентру Темплу ау венит ла Петру ши й-ау зис: „Ынвэцэторул востру ну плэтеште даря?”
After their arrival at Capernaum the collectors of the half-shekel came and asked Peter, "Does not your Teacher pay the half-shekel?"
25 „Ба да”, а зис Петру. Ши кынд а интрат ын касэ, Исус й-а луат-о ынаинте ши й-а зис: „Че крезь, Симоне? Ымпэраций пэмынтулуй де ла чине яу дэрь сау бирурь? Де ла фиий лор сау де ла стрэинь?”
"Yes," he replied, and then went into the house. But before he spoke a word Jesus said, "What think you, Simon? From whom do this world's kings receive customs or capitation tax? from their own children, or from others?"
26 Петру Й-а рэспунс: „Де ла стрэинь.” Ши Исус й-а зис: „Ашадар, фиий сунт скутиць.
"From others," he replied. "Then the children go free," said Jesus.
27 Дар, ка сэ ну-й фачем сэ пэкэтуяскэ, ду-те ла маре, арункэ ундица ши траӂе афарэ пештеле каре ва вени ынтый. Дескиде-й гура ши вей гэси ын еа ун банпе каре я-л ши дэ-ли-л лор, пентру Мине ши пентру тине.”
"However, lest we cause them to sin, go and throw a hook into the Lake, and take the first fish that comes up. When you open its mouth, you will find a shekel in it: bring that coin and give it to them for yourself and me."
