Матей 14
1 Ын время ачея, кырмуиторул Ирод а аузит ворбинду-се деспре Исус
At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the report about Jesus
2 ши а зис служиторилор сэй: „Ачеста есте Иоан Ботезэторул! А ынвият дин морць ши де ачея се фак минунь прин ел.”
and said to his servants, “This man is John the Baptist; he has been raised from the dead, and that is why these mighty powers are at work in him.”
3 Кэч Ирод принсесе пе Иоан, ыл легасе ши-л пусесе ын темницэ дин причина Иродиадей, неваста фрателуй сэу Филип;
For Herod had arrested John, bound him, and put him in prison on account of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife.
4 пентру кэ Иоан ый зичя: „Ну-ць есте ынгэдуит с-о ай де невастэ.”
For John had been saying to him, “It is not lawful for yoʋ to have her.”
5 Ирод ар фи врут сэ-л омоаре, дар се темя де нород, пентру кэ нородул привя пе Иоан ка пе ун пророк.
Although Herod wanted to kill John, he was afraid of the crowd, because they regarded John as a prophet.
6 Дар, кынд се прэзнуя зиуа наштерий луй Ирод, фата Иродиадей а жукат ынаинтя оаспецилор ши а плэкут луй Ирод.
But when Herod's birthday was celebrated, the daughter of Herodias danced before the guests and pleased Herod.
7 Де ачея й-а фэгэдуит ку журэмынт кэ ый ва да орьче ва чере.
So he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask.
8 Ындемнатэ де мама са, еа а зис: „Дэ-мь аич, ынтр-о фарфурие, капул луй Иоан Ботезэторул!”
Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.”
9 Ымпэратул с-а ынтристат, дар, дин причина журэминтелор сале ши де окий челор че шедяу ла масэ ымпреунэ ку ел, а порунчит сэ и-л дя.
The king was grieved, but because of his oaths and his guests, he commanded it to be given
10 Ши а тримис сэ тае капул луй Иоан ын темницэ.
and sent orders to have John beheaded in prison.
11 Капул а фост адус ынтр-о фарфурие ши дат фетей, каре л-а дус ла мама са.
John's head was then brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.
12 Ученичий луй Иоан ау венит де й-ау луат трупул, л-ау ынгропат ши с-ау дус де ау дат де штире луй Исус.
Later, John's disciples came and took his body and buried it. Then they went and brought word to Jesus.
13 Исус, кынд а аузит вестя ачаста, а плекат де аколо ынтр-о корабие, ка сэ Се дукэ сингур ла о парте, ынтр-ун лок пустиу. Нороаделе, кынд ау аузит лукрул ачеста, ау ешит дин четэць ши с-ау луат дупэ Ел пе жос.
When Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But the crowds heard about it and followed him on foot from the towns.
14 Кынд а ешит дин корабие, Исус а вэзут о глоатэ маре, И с-а фэкут милэ де еа ши а виндекат пе чей болнавь.
And when Jesus went ashore and saw a large crowd, he was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick.
15 Кынд с-а ынсерат, ученичий с-ау апропият де Ел ши Й-ау зис: „Локул ачеста есте пустиу, ши время ятэ кэ а трекут. Дэ друмул нороаделор сэ се дукэ прин сате сэ-шь кумпере де мынкаре.”
As evening approached, his disciples came to him and said, “This place is desolate, and the hour is now late. Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy themselves some food.”
16 „Н-ау невое сэ плече”, ле-а рэспунс Исус; „даци-ле вой сэ мэнынче.”
But Jesus said to them, “They have no need to go away; you give them something to eat.”
17 Дар ей Й-ау зис: „Н-авем аич декыт чинч пынь ши дой пешть.”
They said to him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
18 Ши Ел ле-а зис: „Адучеци-й аич ла Мине!”
He said, “Bring them here to me.”
19 Апой а порунчит нороаделор сэ шадэ пе ярбэ, а луат челе чинч пынь ши чей дой пешть, Шь-а ридикат окий спре чер, а бинекувынтат, а фрынт пыниле ши ле-а дат ученичилор, яр ей ле-ау ымпэрцит нороаделор.
Then he commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said the blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
20 Тоць ау мынкат ши с-ау сэтурат ши с-ау ридикат доуэспрезече кошурь плине ку рэмэшицеле де фиримитурь.
They all ate and were filled, and the disciples picked up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full.
21 Чей че мынкасерэ ерау кам ла чинч мий де бэрбаць, афарэ де фемей ши де копий.
Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
22 Ындатэ дупэ ачея, Исус а силит пе ученичий Сэй сэ интре ын корабие ши сэ трякэ ынаинтя Луй де партя чялалтэ пынэ ва да друмул нороаделор.
Immediately Jesus compelled the disciples to get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side of the sea, while he sent the crowds away.
23 Дупэ че а дат друмул нороаделор, С-а суит пе мунте сэ Се роаӂе сингур ла о парте. Се ынноптасе, ши Ел ера сингур аколо.
After sending the crowds away, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone.
24 Ын тимпул ачеста, корабия ера ынвэлуитэ де валурь ын мижлокул мэрий; кэч вынтул ера ымпотривэ.
Meanwhile, the boat was already in the middle of the sea, being tossed by the waves, for the wind was against them.
25 Кынд се ынгына зиуа ку ноаптя, Исус а венит ла ей, умблынд пе маре.
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
26 Кынд Л-ау вэзут ученичий умблынд пе маре, с-ау ынспэймынтат ши ау зис: „Есте о нэлукэ!” Ши, де фрикэ, ау ципат.
When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear.
27 Исус ле-а зис ындатэ: „Ындрэзниць, Еу сунт, ну вэ темець!”
But Jesus immediately said to them, “Take courage! It is I; do not be afraid.”
28 „Доамне”, Й-а рэспунс Петру, „дакэ ешть Ту, порунчеште-мь сэ вин ла Тине пе апе!”
In response Peter said to him, “Lord, if it is yoʋ, command me to come to yoʋ on the water.”
29 „Вино!”, й-а зис Исус. Петру а коборыт дин корабие ши а ынчепут сэ умбле пе апе ка сэ мяргэ ла Исус.
So he said, “Come.” Then Peter got down from the boat and walked on the water to go to Jesus.
30 Дар, кынд а вэзут кэ вынтул ера таре, с-а темут ши, фииндкэ ынчепя сэ се афунде, а стригат: „Доамне, скапэ-мэ!”
But when he saw the strong wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Ындатэ, Исус а ынтинс мына, л-а апукат ши й-а зис: „Пуцин крединчосуле, пентру че те-ай ындоит?”
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, “O yoʋ of little faith, why did yoʋ doubt?”
32 Ши, дупэ че ау интрат ын корабие, а стат вынтул.
And when they had gotten into the boat, the wind ceased.
33 Чей че ерау ын корабие ау венит де с-ау ынкинат ынаинтя луй Исус ши Й-ау зис: „Ку адевэрат, Ту ешть Фиул луй Думнезеу!”
Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, “Truly yoʋ are the Son of God.”
34 Дупэ че ау трекут маря, ау венит ын цинутул Генезаретулуй.
When they had crossed the sea, they came to the land of Gennesaret.
35 Оамений дин локул ачела, каре куноштяу пе Исус, ау тримис сэ дя де штире ын тоате ымпрежуримиле ши ау адус ла Ел пе тоць болнавий.
And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word into the entire surrounding region, and people brought to him all who were sick.
36 Болнавий Ыл ругау сэ ле дя вое нумай сэ се атингэ де поала хайней Луй. Ши тоць кыць с-ау атинс с-ау виндекат.
They begged him to let the sick touch even the fringe of his garment, and all who touched it were completely healed.
