Матей 11
1 Дупэ че а испрэвит де дат ынвэцэтурь ла чей дойспрезече ученичь ай Сэй, Исус а плекат де аколо, ка сэ ынвеце пе оамень ши сэ проповэдуяскэ ын четэциле лор.
After Jesus had finished instructing His twelve disciples, He went on from there to teach and preach in their cities.
2 Иоан а аузит дин темницэ деспре лукрэриле луй Христос
Meanwhile John heard in prison about the works of Christ, and he sent his disciples
3 ши а тримис сэ-Л ынтребе прин ученичий сэй: „Ту ешть Ачела каре аре сэ винэ сау сэ аштептэм пе алтул?”
to ask Him, “Are You the One who was to come, or should we look for someone else?”
4 Дрепт рэспунс, Исус ле-а зис: „Дучеци-вэ де спунець луй Иоан че аузиць ши че ведець:
Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see:
5 Орбийышь капэтэ ведеря, шкьопий умблэ, лепроший сунт курэциць, сурзий ауд, морций ынвие, ши сэрачилорли се проповэдуеште Евангелия.
The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.
6 Фериче де ачела пентру каре Еу ну вой фиун прилеж де потикнире.”
Blessed is the one who does not fall away on account of Me.”
7 Пе кынд се дучяу ей, Исус а ынчепут сэ ворбяскэ нороаделор деспре Иоан: „Че аць ешит сэ ведець ын пустиу? О трестиеклэтинатэ де вынт?
As John’s disciples were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind?
8 Дакэ ну, атунч че аць ешит сэ ведець? Ун ом ымбрэкат ын хайне мой? Ятэ кэ чей че поартэ хайне мой сунт ын каселе ымпэрацилор.
Otherwise, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? Look, those who wear fine clothing are found in kings’ palaces.
9 Атунч че аць ешит сэ ведець? Ун пророк? Да, вэ спун, шимай мулт декыт ун пророк;
What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
10 кэч ел есте ачела деспре каре с-а скрис: ‘Ятэ, тримит ынаинтя Фецей Тале пе солул Меу, каре Ыць ва прегэти каля ынаинтя Та.’
This is the one about whom it is written: ‘Behold, I will send My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way before You.’
11 Адевэрат вэ спун кэ, динтре чей нэскуць дин фемей, ну с-а скулат ничунул май маре декыт Иоан Ботезэторул. Тотушь, чел май мик ын Ымпэрэция черурилор есте май маре декыт ел.
Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has risen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
12 Динзилеле луй Иоан Ботезэторул пынэ акум, Ымпэрэция черурилор се я ку нэвалэ, ши чей че дау нэвалэ пун мына пе еа.
From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subject to violence, and the violent lay claim to it.
13 Кэч пынэ ла Иоан ау пророчит тоцьпророчий ши Леӂя.
For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John.
14 Ши, дакэ врець сэ ынцелеӂець, ел есте Илие, каре требуя сэ винэ.
And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come.
15 Чинеаре урекь де аузит сэ аудэ.
He who has ears, let him hear.
16 Кучине вой асемэна нямул ачеста де оамень? Сямэнэ ку ниште копилашь каре шед ын пеце ши стригэ ла товарэший лор:
To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others:
17 ‘В-ам кынтат дин флуер, ши н-аць жукат; в-ам кынтат де жале, ши ну в-аць тынгуит.’
‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’
18 Кэч а венит Иоан, нич мынкынд, нич бынд, ши ей зик: ‘Аре драк!’
For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon!’
19 А венит Фиул омулуй мынкынд ши бынд, ши ей зик: ‘Ятэ ун ом мынкэчос ши бэутор де вин, ун приетенал вамешилор ши ал пэкэтошилор!’ ТотушьЫнцелепчуня а фост ындрептэцитэ дин лукрэриле ей.”
The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at this glutton and drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is vindicated by her actions.”
20 Атунч, Исус а ынчепут сэ мустре четэциле ын каре фусесерэ фэкуте челе май мулте дин минуниле Луй, пентру кэ ну се покэисерэ.
Then Jesus began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles had been performed, because they did not repent.
21 „Вай де тине, Хоразине!”, а зис Ел. „Вай де тине, Бетсаидо! Кэч, дакэ ар фи фост фэкуте ын Тир ши Сидон минуниле каре ау фост фэкуте ын вой, демулт с-ар фи покэит кусак ши ченушэ.
“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 Де ачея вэ спун кэ, ын зиуа жудекэций, вафи май ушор пентру Тир ши Сидон декыт пентру вой.
But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.
23 Ши ту, Капернауме, вей фи ынэлцатоаре пынэ ла чер? Вей фи коборыт пынэ ла Локуинца морцилор; кэч дакэ ар фи фост фэкуте ын Содома минуниле каре ау фост фэкуте ын тине, еа ар фи рэмас ын пичоаре пынэ ын зиуа де астэзь. (Hadēs g86)
And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. (Hadēs g86)
24 Де ачея вэ спун кэ, ын зиуа жудекэций, ва фи май ушор пентруцинутул Содомей декыт пентру тине.”
But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”
25 Ын время ачея, Исус а луат кувынтул ши а зис: „Те лауд, Татэ, Доамне ал черулуй ши ал пэмынтулуй, пентру кэ айаскунс ачесте лукрурь де чей ынцелепць ши причепуць шиле-ай дескоперит прунчилор.
At that time Jesus declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.
26 Да, Татэ, Те лауд, пентру кэ аша ай гэсит Ту ку кале!
Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight.
27 Тоателукруриле Мь-ау фост дате ын мынь де Татэл Меу, шинимень ну куноаште деплин пе Фиул, афарэ де Татэл; тот астфел нимень ну куноаште деплин пе Татэл, афарэ де Фиул ши ачела кэруя вря Фиул сэ и-Л дескопере.
All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
28 Вениць ла Мине, тоць чей трудиць ши ымповэраць, ши Еу вэ вой да одихнэ.
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Луаць жугул Меу асупра воастрэ шиынвэцаць де ла Мине, кэч Еу сунт блынд ши смеритку инима; шивець гэси одихнэ пентру суфлетеле воастре.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 Кэчжугул Меу есте бун ши сарчина Мя есте ушоарэ.”
For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
